Woburn Veterinarians Reviews

was one of the local vets that honored the spay/nueter certificate that we received from the shelter where we adopted our new dog. I checked there service record on Angies List and found they had a good reputation. I found there staff to be very helpful when I called and pleasent during our visit. They did just as they said they would - calling after the surgery was complete. There were no

costs or unexpected charges when I came to pick up our dog. We have had no problems following the surgery. (

"These guys are the best. The whole place is awesome as soon as you walk in the door. They have a great atmosphere and the staff is all friendly and very hard working. The doctors are compassionate and really know their stuff. I never have any problems at all. They are so good and care so much about the animals they didn't even charge me anything when I went in there for this."

has taken care of well checks, neutering, shots and illnesses for my dogs with a friendly disposition to myself and my animals. You are greeted professionally upon arrival and if there is an emergency, you can get in and be seen even that hour. The cost is reasonable. I have seen bills from $100 to $400 depending on the severity of the illness. I have had to leave my dog overnight when he swallowed something he shouldn't have and the doctor wanted to observe him until he was out of the woods."
"The doctor was great there. He gave me a pot with seeds to remember my cat by. I thought that was the sweetest thing. They really care and I like that. They are wonderful. I literally started crying all over again because they were so nice to me. That says a lot about them. I just think they are very good and extremely professional in nature too."
"They are very accommodating. They are always there in case of emergencies and they are very fast to respond to you. They take really good care of my pets and for that they are worth a million dollars. The veterinarians there are wonderful. I just think that they are the best around."
"My first trip to bpph was fantastic. I called on friday and was scheduled for the following morning. The hospital is beautiful. All of their employees have photos and bios on the wall. They understand that people get very anxious about their pet's care and health and go to great lengths to make you (and your pet) comfortable. Everyone I met - vet techs, assistants,

at the front desk - was friendly, helpful, and extremely knowledgeable. Dr. Diffell was patient with my questions and answered them all thoroughly. I was even offered a tour of the facility after my cat's exam. I did some price comparisons and the rates for some of their services might be a little higher than you could find elsewhere, but after seeing the facility and meeting the staff, I do not object at all. You get what you pay for. It's an excellent veterinary hospital and I would highly recommended them.
"When we moved from

to Woburn, we needed to find a new vet for our ferret (we had been going to

Memorial, but now it is too far). It is difficult to find vets with solid ferret experience and knowledge of the latest developments in ferret care, as the state of ferret veterinary care has changed a lot over the last 5-10 years. I contacted
Woburn Veterinarians Provider Name Locked
via their online contact form to ask about their vets' experience with ferrets. Not only did I get a prompt reply back, but one of the vets, Dr. Siperstein, called me to discuss some concerns I had about treatments my ferret had been receiving from

did not currently offer. The fact that Dr. Sip was willing to take time for a lengthy conversation with an owner who wasn't even a client yet impressed me as much as her knowledge of ferret medical care. I went there initially to have my ferret's itchy ears checked out (yeast infection, as it turned out) but will be very happy to go there for all my future veterinary care. I have been back for a few visits, and have had a prescription filled at their pharmacy for a price lower than I would have gotten at a regular pharmacy.
I have also been impressed with the front desk staff and the waiting area layout. Although the waiting area is not large, they have divided it into dog/cat/bird and exotics waiting areas to minimize stress on the animals, and there's a sort of airlock system of doors by which you enter and exit the building to prevent pets from escaping. As far as overall costs go, the veterinary care for ferrets, as exotics, is always more expensive than that for cats or dogs, but their prices compare very favorably to other vet care I've received in the Boston area. Prices are also clearly posted in the exam rooms, which is not something I've seen in other places. All in all, this is a thoughtful practice that clearly cares a lot about its clientele, and I'm very glad to have found them.
