came out on 5/6/15 to give us an estimate for a new deep water well. We went over where we wanted the well placed and what we where looking" for. He advised that he could do what we where asking. We hired him then and gave him deposit of 1500.00. He advised us he would start the permitting process and be out on Monday or Tuesday to drill the well. Monday no one came out and I called (leaving a message) asking if we were still on for Tuesday and if someone could get back to me and let me know since we haven't move into the home yet and we were not onsite all the time. Tuesday morning around 11:00 am we went out to the house to get a landscaping estimating. While there we noticed the well had been dug in the wrong place. We called to ask why it had been dug in a spot we had not designated for it. Mr.
advised us that it had to be put in the other spot because of permitting, our old well and new well could not be next to each other. (I called the permitting office and they stated there is no issue w/ the two wells being next to each other.) We also asked how many gallons a minute the well was producing since this was something our pump guy needed. Mr.
advised it was producing around 6 gallons per min. (which is way under the average for the area which is 8-15 gallons per min.) We asked Mr.
to come back out and discuss the placement of the well. By the well being placed in the wrong part of our back yard we could no longer us just about a quarter of our yard. We have a large garage and driveway behind the pump house. Mr.
dug the well about 25 ft away from where we had originally discussed. This made it so we could no longer access the driveway in the back by vehicle. Mr.
came back out to discuss the placement of the well. We needed a new one dug where we originally had requested. Mr.
threatened to take us to court for the balance due. We advised him that we had spoken with the inspector and the inspector advised us there was no issue with putting the two wells (the old one and new on) next to one another. At this point Mr.
stormed off to go sit in his car for a little bit. He then came back and again tried to argue some more. After Mr.
stormed off several more times, he eventually agreed to dig a new well after he spoke with the inspector. We also had asked Mr.
many times during our conversation to provide us w/ proof that he had pulled a permit or a permit number. This was something he was unable to do. During the conversation Mr.
had mentioned that his guys had come out at 8:00 am on Tues and had been there for over 5 hours. This we knew was a lie because we had met w/ our landscaper on Tues at 11:00 am and everyone was long gone. Mr.
came back a week later and dug a new well. He also filled the previously dug well. This time the job took over 8 hrs. They had gotten there at 8:00 am and did not leave till after 6:00 pm. One of the drill bits had broken which added an additional 20-30 mins to the job but not hours. Also the new well was producing 12-13 gallons per mins. I am happy that Mr.
agreed to dig a new well, I respect that but I have very hard time believing he dug the first well properly. If he had not put it in the wrong spot to begin with we would have never know there was issue w/ the first one. I would not recommend Mr.
to anyone. I believe he did not do what was supposed to be done from the start and the only reason we where able to figure this out was because we watched the second well be dug. He also tried to get us to pay the remaining balance before the final inspection was complete. This was not what we agreed on in the beginning. We did not pay Mr.
the final payment till we had a completed permit in hand, which was not till 07/09/2015.

"After the dirt work had been completed the neighbor notified
that his site was only 40' from his drain field and therefore unusable." I told
that I did not consider it unreasonable for him to pickup half the cost of the dirt work. He refused saying it was my fault. My mistake was trusting this driller implicitly.

Wells and pumps

Water supplied by wells is just as safe, convenient and reliable as municipal water supplies and millions of homes around the country rely on wells. But relying on a well requires an understanding of its components, and regular maintenance and testing.

Anything that puts a strain on your well pump may cause it to fail prematurely. Here are some of the situations that can lead to a malfunctioning well pump.

If your area is prone to getting hit by torrential downpours, then a low-capacity pump may simply become overwhelmed. Options include installing multiple pumps, as well as backup pumps. (Photo courtesy of Andrew C. of Chicago)

Well And Water Pump reviews in Westport

After the dirt work was done at a cost of $800 he found out his proposed drilling site was too close (40 feet) to the neighbors drain field. When asked to pay half of the excavation, he refused. The driller had the nerve to say it was my fault.

The only poor rating would be customer service of office personal. Then wanted payment without a written receipt of work provided. They finally emailed us a billing statement.

The driveway and sidewalk look good but the porch area was suppose to be 12 inches thick so it could support the porch and it wasn't and the top is peeling off ans is cracked in several spots. Also he messed up the step but did not charge for it and was suppose to come back and fix it. I never have heard back from him and have sent pictures and at least 7 calls to him. All that can be proven..

The pump they installed did not work and he did not plug it in. The pump is broken and could not be fixed. They installed a broken pump for the septic tank. The gentleman didn’t know what to charge so when he called the office they gave him an arbitrary number. The only thing written on the service invoice was injector pump. No warranty, no write up on the service or any recommendations on what needed fixed.

Then the basement flooded due to the pump being broken and not working correctly. We tried to get the company to come back out but no return calls. Friends came over to help pump out the basement and we got a new plumber and the new plumber was flabbergasted at what he saw due to all the repairs that needed done and what the original company had done. called back while the plumber was here. They told us to stop talking and that we are not getting the money back at all. The plumber on hand was here when they called and spoke with them and they explained we were not going to get our money back.

Diagnosed and suggested replacement of my 50 year old well pump and the piping. Explained the whole process and how the system worked.

My basement was a very damp and leaky place whenever it rained. It was this way for a long time and was getting worse. Not any more!

was recommended to me by a family member.
I found them to be totally professional. The owner is an honest and present man. He was there everyday checking and helping. Everything was explained to me very clearly. I was pretty nervous about the undertaking of waterproofing my basement but I was always treated with respect and understanding whenever I had a question. This company takes complete pride in their workmanship and in their professionalism. They want to do a good job and they do. And there is no feeling of superiority. They do it in an open and honest and hard working manner. From the digging for the French drain and sump pump to the concrete work to repair the floor, they did a fine job. They use good equipment and not cheap stuff.
They were also very helpful. Whenever they noticed something that needed doing beyond the scope of their job, they would tell me about it. And this being an old house there were quite a few things. At the same time that they were waterproofing the basement, I was having a new sewer line installed and Global was quite helpful in coordinating with that company and, quite frankly, correcting their mistakes. They also helped me clean out my basement and take all the things I did not want to the dump. That was a relief. I am a woman and I have had quite a few jobs done over the years by a few pretty established businesses in my area. Most of those jobs have not withstood the test of time, sometimes even for a short time. I am sure that corners were cut because I am a woman. You will not find that with this company. They have the utmost respect for everyone. Any questions that have arisen in the past year have always been answered immediately. The owner is always available to help. I called them back this summer to install a battery backup for the sump pump and again I was happy with the quality of the product and the work.
So, if you want a good job and the respect and helpfulness you deserve, hire

I had no water and I was worried my well pumped went out since it was 20 years old. Mr
Westport Water Pump Services Provider Name Locked
had me run some tests to make sure he needed come out, which I liked. Most people want to charge you for a service call. I landed up needing some new parts and not a pump. He was very prompt on coming over and getting the job done and I didn't have to wait long. He was very professional and explained every step he did.
- David H.

I can't say enough good things about this company! Amazingly prompt service. Technician was knowledgable and patient - willing to answer lots of questions. Installation was professional and well done. Willing to send technician out again in a few weeks when we had additional questions and unrelated water issue. Very highly recommended!
