I explained that I had one other handy person that was coming out for an estimate and that I would let him know either way. I received a quote from the other source and explained to them what we thought the issue was. I was given a quote for $450 by them. Although the other source was more reasonable price wise, I really liked
August came, I called Nir to schedule once again. it took him a few days to call back and finally schedule something. Because of his excellent reviews and great demeanor, I tolerated this behavior hoping for the best.
Sept. 9th (Fri.) came, two men plus

He then tells me the cost was $1415.00. I couldn't believe what I was hearing. I asked for what? He said the new gutter and the back sliding door. He said the gutter was $1215.00 and the back door was $200.00. I told him that he quoted me a price of no more than $600.00. He then stated that was before he knew there had to be a new piece of gutter added, at this time he should have definitely told me there was a change in the pricing. I told him my back door was never fixed and that the $3.00 stick on stripping was hanging off after a week and I was not paying $200.00 for that and the gutter install was not for the whole house, but only a 5" piece and a larger down spout.
