Landscaping Reviews in Quincy

came out twice, once last year for an estimate on tree removal in addition to the work they completed, and once again this year after we had removed all the trees we didn't want. He responded promptly both times, scheduling a walkthrough within days of the request, and emailing a quote within a day or two.
was always very responsive to emails, even before we contracted with them, making communication very easy.
Most of the clearing work was done by one person (
) with various machines. He was very professional and nice, and did great work in a short period of time. During the work we noticed that part of the yard was much lower than we had expected, and we asked
for another truckload of fill. They accommodated this request with no additional charge or complaints, and brought it the very next day. I'm sure if we asked for more it would cost extra, but they were very flexible. They accommodated us putting in a fence, which included digging the post holes with their machine, and giving us a week and a half in the middle of the job.
Once we let them know the fence was complete, they promptly returned, added the topsoil, and raked out the yard. They brought a crew of guys for this and completed it in a few days. By the end of the week they had the hydroseed down, and the yard looked great.
The only negative was during one of the days of work they cut a tree limb in our front yard without asking us. Didn't turn out to be a big deal as we wanted that gone anyway, but I was slightly put off by them not asking. Again, small detail and did not affect my rating of As across the board.
It's been a couple weeks and the hydroseed is coming in nicely. The invoice was right on the estimate. All in all a great experience.

We were /are thrilled with our beautiful new front steps. That was two years ago. They are still in perfect condition. Work was done promptly. Work site was left clean. Price was fair. I highly recommend
: trust, integrity, quality, price.

He showed up on time. It was raining so he waited in his truck until the rain let up. I was pleased with his service up-to-now.Just need to wait until next Spring to see the flowers.

and his associates provide a great service...over the past three years they have done superbly at snowplowing, snow removal, tree removal, landscaping and general clean up of our grounds. They are very thorough and the prices are extrememly reasonable.

She arrived on a very rainy Saturday and we went around the yard and she took photographs. i was primarily interested in the back yard but she book photoraphs of the entire yard. She then sent a proposal which was very nice. I didn't end up doing the project because other projects took priority, but I liked her very much and thought she seemed very knowledgable and professional..

When I called over an hour after the appointed time to make sure I wasn't mistaken on day and/or time, I was told (by the very nice receptionist) that

had been called to another job that morning. I understand if there is a conflict and an appointment needs to be rescheuled, but my expectation is to at least have the courtesy of a call letting me know the appointment can't be kept.

I found

and Masonry on Craigslist. I sent off an email requesting that the work I needed done be looked at and I could get a quote on a price to fix the issue. My email was responded to within 12 hours. The mason,

, came out the following day. He was very knowledgeable and explained why my tread had fallen off and what I could do to keep this from happening in the future. He quoted me a price of $300. He told me they were very busy and it would probably be about 2 weeks before he could do the repair. I told him I was concerned someone was going to trip and fall. He told me that if an an opening came up sooner he would let me know. Surprisingly,

called me back two days later and said he had a cancellation and could come out the following day if I would like. I agreed. He arrived at 8 AM as promised the following day. He said it would be about an 8 hour job. When I arrived home at 4 PM

was just finishing up. The stair and veneer looked fantastic. He instructed me not to use the stair for 3 days and he cordoned off the area.

said he had been doing masonry work for close to twenty years and I believe it. He really knew what he was talking about and his work looks as good as any I have seen.
I feel as if I got a great job for a very fair price. I would not hesitate to call them back for any masonry work I might need in the future.
The company acts in a very professional manger and is licensed and insured.

Had a very old solid

fence that was on the verge of collapsing.
Quincy Landscapers Provider Name Locked
came by and impressed me with his knowledge and his explanations of what the options were for replacing this fence. I ended up choosing a cedar fence and we arranged for him to come by a few weeks later--a date was eventually set--he showed up with an assistant and replaced the fence in one day. He removed the old fence and cleaned up nicely. The new fence looks great. At all times he was easy to reach and very professional. I am very satisfied with his work.

Recently, I have had some problems from them with their scheduling, the mowing work & that they are not consistent when they come out to do the work. You never knew what day of the week they would show up. I also think the reason their price is now higher is because they sub their work. I will say for now that I will use them again but, I am currently rethinking whether or not I want to continue using them in the future.

Initially, the job went pretty well. The crew removed the two large maples, promising to return later to dig up leftover stumps. They then transplanted a large pine tree, laid out a central rock garden, planted numerous plants, bushes and small trees, constructed an arbor and an entry trellis, and then applied the hydroseed. The real problem began with the hydroseeding. The first attempt failed and the job was repeated. I feel that the main reason for the unsuccessful hydroseeding was the use of inferior soil and, perhaps, an insufficient amount of seed in the mix. Anyhow, the results were disastrous and the yard looks terrible.

, the company boss, had promised us a beautiful lawn and we got anything but. They also didn't go deep enough in the stump removals, so that nothing grows in the spots where the maples were. They also did a poor job of replacing a fence section, and we had to pay someone else to rectify their error.
