"Very professional and reliable. Easy to work with. They cleaned and sealed the grout in my baths and laundry rooms. They did a very nice job. I am satisfied" and would use again.

"I had a great experience with J&J Flooring, I'm very happy with my new floor. Before removing the old tiles they hung plastic sheets over my cabinets &" counters and around the kitchen perimeter where it opened onto the dining/living room area to minimize dust. They laid sheets throughout so as not to track dirt. They also laid sheets under the appliances that were moved. After removing all the debris, they leveled the subfloor and installed the tile membrane. They took care to minimize the dust creep and cleaned up at the end of each day and at completion. The tile installation came out beautiful. I was concerned that the doors wouldn't clear the new floor - they trimmed a bit off the closet door and adjusted the bottom of the entry door. I had a scheduling problem with my usual plumber. They referred me to someone who responded right away and who I subsequently used to hook up my new appliances. Also, there was a small height difference between the new tile floor and existing hardwood floor. I had purchased a thin section of oak to in the transition which they installed for me. The whole job took approximately three days. The price that was initially quoted to me was the price that I paid. I was very happy with the work and definitely recommend them.

tile backsplash

Whether you want to replace a laminate floor, backsplash, shower stall or countertops, ceramic tile is a durable, easy-to-clean option that can add value to your home. Both ceramic and stone tiles are nearly maintenance free, though grout will need occasional resealing.

There's nothing classier for a kitchen or bathroom floor than one made of natural tiles. But tile flooring is expensive and does have some disadvantages that homeowners should think about before making a decision on which type of flooring they prefer.

Tile Installation reviews in North Dartmouth

Service was completed on 9/8/14. Mr. claimed his work was guaranteed. In March 2015, I noticed one spot in my bathroom that I was able to peel the new grout color off the floor, I had also noticed a few small spots in the kitchen that had also come off. It is noticeable due to the color differences, always looks like there ...More is something on the floor to pick up. I tried many different ways to contact Mr. , phone calls, texts, emails and got no response from him. After several months of trying I decided to look more into the company so went on line and was able to speak to another person (in another state) that does the same type of work. He stated what needed to be done would only take about 20 minutes to fix. He thought he could make some contacts and get Mr. to call me. Well he did, after I threatened to contact the BBB and everyone else I could to make sure no one else got the poor customer service I have. Since the initial phone call there has been many excuses, postponements, etc. So 8 months since the initial call I am still waiting for resolution. I even asked if there was a "repair kit" that I could fix it my self. So, far all I've got is a lot of promises and nothing to show for them. Will never recommend this company!!!

arrived as scheduled and set up his work area as we discussed the layout of the tiles. He was able to inset some accent tiles I wanted to use, and showed me how he was able to do this by thinning the tile thickness to match the thickness of the beveled edges of the main tiles. He worked steadily, and every so often would call ...More me into the room to show me how it was going and to ask if I wanted any changes etc. When he was finished he cleaned the area thoroughly which is very impressive since most of the workmen I've had working in my home left messes. I'm very pleased with 's work, and I love the way the back splash looks; he did a beautiful job, and I'd recommend him to anyone.

Met with owner and he came out to the house. Made very good suggestions on a Master Bath remodel, but said he wanted one of his people (who was out of town) to come back out and see the site. I never could get this arranged in spite of several calls. He couldn't seem to remember who I was . Seemed to have very poor record keeping.

We chose this tile installer based on his many years of experience and stellar reputation. It was an excellent experience start to finish. This guy knows everything there is to know about tile installation. He exceeded our expectations every step of the way. He did our master bath renovation, completely removing and replacing the tile on both the shower ...More (wall & floor) and the entire bathroom floor. This was a huge project full of potential problems. Due to his expertise, we got through it without a single issue. I can't believe what an exceptional job he did. He is a first class craftsman that takes great pride in the work he does and it really shows. I know this seems a bit too glowing, but he really is this good. I am a bit of a compulsive perfectionist and he exceeded my expectations in every way. He was professional and easy to work with. He always showed respect to me and my property. I give him my highest recommendation for any job no matter how big or complex. We are in our sixties and he is one of the few craftsmen we have met that we would completely trust in our home. I don't know what else I can add other than thank you for the excellent job, we are sincerely grateful!

submitted a professional estimate / quote and detail list of items for us to purchase for the project.
showed up promptly (he was usually waiting on us to arrive) each day and worked a full day.
and his helper were very professional and knowledgeable. We are happy with ...More the floors.
We would have given an A for every category except for two items -- (1) there are several tile with corners set high. My feet seem to find each one and (2) he didn't seal the floor tile caulk between the backsplash tile and counter in the kitchen.
We had our previous home tiled in the exact same manner several years ago and the contractor sealed the tile. We did not think to ask about it and the work was not included in the bid. We wish the contractor would have asked us if we wanted sealing because we would have said yes. We are moved in and will get around to it ourselves -- it would have been a lot easier to do it before the home was furnished though.

After replacing our tub with a walk-in shower stall, the wall behind it needed to be repaired. I originally intended to repair and repaint it. Kev suggested installing a framework of tile around it. The outcome is much more pleasing. He did an excellent job.

.The master bathroom remodel started out with a phone call then a scheduled visit by the owner Buck . We liked him from the minute he walked in. The demolition started on time followed by delivery of all ordered tile/stone, vanity and fixtures. The tile was installed perfectly, the electrics were installed and wiring and plumbing ...More done to code. The new shower enclosure was larger than the original so Loudoun County inspectors had to ensure it met code structurally. Everything passed.
Everyone on staff was very experienced and professional and always kept our needs as their priority. I could go on forever but let me assure you, these guys are the real deal! You will not be disappointed - Buck and his entire staff will not allow that to happen. There was one issue that I brought to the attention to the job Supervisor , and it was resolved the next day.
We are having our next smaller bathroom done by them too. What does that tell you? Call or email me anytime for questions about their work.

removed the grout from the bottom of my shower, removed/treated the mold, replaced the grout and sealed. The service was great and seems to be holding up perfect. He will be returning to do another job for me that entails cleaning and sealing the grout on my highly traveled kitchen floor. I can't wait!
