"Showed up an hour and a half late, no tape measure, completely inappropriately dressed for first time client contact. Got email was told we would get an email in" 2-3 days and never received one. Contacted by email 3 times a week to a week and a half later with no response?? Why come over and waste your time. Not proffesional in any way. Do not recommend.

"I got at least 3-4 quotes (all from Angie's List).
was the first quote, was the most reasonable and who we felt most comfortable with." Once we agreed the price scheduling the job was strait forward.
and team arrived as scheduled and began work. What became evident was this job was way too much for me to accomplish as I had initially planned. Once the old tile was removed it was revealed that a 2 inch cement bed was on top of foundation. This required some repeated evening out before the new tile could be installed. The lone sticking point with
came down to the tile we purchased. He quoted us based on ceramic/[porcelain but we actually purchased travertine.
explained this was more time consuming to cut and
so we had to agree to an increase job cost. Even with increase the overall price remained very competitive with other quote we received and who knows what they would have quoted for travertine.
and team were professional and polite, did a good job cleaning up after themselves and the finished job looks fantastic. I have scheduled him to retile 2 showers later in the year.

Whether you want to replace a laminate floor, backsplash, shower stall or countertops, ceramic tile is a durable, easy-to-clean option that can add value to your home. Both ceramic and stone tiles are nearly maintenance free, though grout will need occasional resealing.

Tile flooring

There's nothing classier for a kitchen or bathroom floor than one made of natural tiles. But tile flooring is expensive and does have some disadvantages that homeowners should think about before making a decision on which type of flooring they prefer.

Dear Angie: In the process of a home remodel, I’ve noticed the grout in my new bathroom varies in color. The tile installer and I agreed on a gray tone, which I see on the floor and maybe a wall or two. But the grout in the shower and other walls is definitely black. Can this be corrected without damaging the porcelain tile? – Mercedez T., Irving,Texas

Ceramic Tiling reviews in North Dartmouth

This job went very well. The owner of
North Dartmouth Tiling Experts Provider Name Locked
is a cut above. He was careful, conscientious, and communicated clearly throughout the process. He took the time to give us a line-by-line quote, broken out at a very detailed level (demo, install labor, etc.) on an area-by-area basis. He was very careful to understand what we were looking for and seemed to see himself as working with us (rather than trying to sell us on installing the largest amount of tile possible). He went to the trouble of helping us select and purchase the tile and, when the install was underway, took the time to help us with grout selection. At every step of the process, he was communicative and helpful. To top it off the price (demo, install labor, and tile) wasn't unreasonable, especially given the quality of the job from start to finish. Highly recommended!

did a great job. These guys know what they are doing. I started this project on my own. Once I got into it, I realized it requires tools, skills, and time I don't have. After I saw how much work it took to complete correctly, I was really glad I didn't try to finish it myself. Save your weekends. Call

This was the worst tile job I have ever seen by a "professional". It would have looked better if I had done it myself - and I really wish I had.
The tiles were unevenly installed - some stuck out from the walls. The glass tile was installed uneven and varied in the depth at which it was set. The grouting job was the worst - very amateur looking workmanship.
Corners were left with extra grout and never cleaned up. He grouted against a wooden window frame, so naturally the grout cracked due to the expansion and contraction of the wood with changes in temperature and humidity. The grout began chipping out on the floor at the doorway due to improper installation.

also left me with a huge mess in my brand new bath tub when he was done. Material used to adhere the tile to the wall (cement colored) was left sticking to the tub and there was an incredible amount of debris in the tub under the old comforter I gave him to protect the tub.
He refused to come back to correct any of his poor workmanship. I fully expect to have water damage issues within a few years.
I ended up having to hire another tile installer to make corrections to the mess. Unfortunately, it would have required removing the entire tile job and starting over to have it all done correctly, but at least it is better than it was.

While 'window shopping' earlier in the fall, I fell in love with a mosaic tile for my back splash that was composed of ceramic, marble, glass and stainless steel. I purchased the tile thinking that I would install it myself but weeks went by and I procrastinated, in part because I was afraid of cutting materials of different hardness on one sheet. When November came around, I realized I wanted the back splash installed before Thanksgiving and that I needed to hire it out. As S & W had done work for me before, I reached out to

arrived right on time at 7 a.m., we discussed design options and then he went straight to work. He took steps to protect my flooring, counter-top and sink as he worked and was sweet and understanding of my dog who was eager to help :)

worked quickly and the workmanship was super. As before, I was pleased with the custom touches such as a line of vertical tiles to finish off the edges and with the professionalism.
S&W tile remains my first choice for tile work!

The man that came is the owner of this family business. He was very professional and a pleasant Nevadan. He helped us with the last couple of items to be moved. He worked for at least 3 hours (non stop). When he was done we were amazed at the actual color of our grout. He can do the sealing of the grout as well, but we opted to do this ourselves. He left the house in good condition, cleaning up after the job. I recommend this company highly.
