Business Description: Susan is an established reputable designer with a client-driven approach to design. She educates her clients about their design choices and helps them develop their own design style so their home reflects the way they live. Susan feels strongly that residences should reflect solely the people who live in them, not be created from a designer's "signature look". Susan Dearborn Interiors, Inc. is a valued member of the Better Business Bureau. Our clients' repeat business is a testimonial to our affable professional work style. With expertise in building, remodeling, kitchen and bath design, we work closely with other professionals. Having developed a 25-year relationship with quality builders and trade persons, SDI is able to recommend reliable sources for projects of various sizes and scopes. Susan will schedule an initial consultation in your home to introduce herself and to answer any questions you may have. A mutual feeling of respect and communication needs to be established so clients can relax and enjoy the design process. During this meeting, your design needs will be discussed and fees, budget and our Letter of Agreement will be addressed. If you are building or remodeling, Susan's expertise will help you avoid costly and time-consuming mistakes. Your designer, builder, and architect form three angles of a triangle with your designer presenting and leading you through exterior and interior decisions including moldings, door styles, kitchen and bath selections, lighting, and floor material. With the abillity to see these dimensionally, you can be assured that the decisions you make will result in the finished product that you envisioned. While your building or renovation project continues, we will simultaneously begin the design and decor interior phase. Master planning is essential to avoid costly mistakes and ensure a harmonious aesthetic feeling throughout the interior of your residence whether it is 2,000 or 10,000 square feet. The goal of a well-managed project is to have furnishings and interior elements ready for delivery when your renovation or building project is complete. Please visit our website at www.dearborndesign.com and call to speak with us about your design needs.
