came out initially to perform maintenance to my Buderus gas heating system for the first time since moving in to the house. It was in rough shape since it appeared to have been minimally maintained at needed some TLC.
Framingham HVAC Contractors Provider Name Locked
is an expert at this system, (lucky for me!), and quickly diagnosed and proposed several ways and price points to address the system. We went with the complete cleaning as well as replacing a failing circulator and zone valve.
Framingham HVAC Contractors Provider Name Locked
returned just a few days later when the parts were in and spent a lot of time explaining what he did, as well as pointing out some other steps to take to increase efficiency through out the heating system. I had a great experience with this company including the office staff. I highly recommend

"I called
Framingham HVAC Contractors Provider Name Locked
and they answered the phone right away. They informed me that they could come to my house for a fee ($55) and provide an estimate for the services I wanted. I accepted. On the day of the estimate, they called because they were running early, and wanted to see if I could accommodate them. So that was also very nice. The worker used booties to protect our floor, which was much appreciated. The worker glanced at our set-up (nothing out of the ordinary) and pulled out the price book. Then things started to go a little sour. First, they could have quoted their standard prices over the phone (like the plumber I actually ended up using did). It's not like they wing it; they have a nice book filled with prices. They could simply have said on the phone, "These are our standard prices, but if your situation is different than you describe there may be additional charges, and we will let you know after we arrive but before starting work." The worker also promoted a "value plan" that involves a monthly charge, which I wasn't interested in. The price for providing and installing a toilet was $842 on the "value plan" (I'm not sure of the standard price because their quote appears to contain an error). The plumber I actually used charged about $620 for the same model. The standard price for providing and installing two generic

faucets was $586, or $265 for installation-only if we wanted to provide our own faucets. That was almost double the amount that our eventual plumber charged ($135). Other problems: * The $55 up-front charge would be applied to any work we had done, however, it was good for only 24 hours. I don't recall if I was told that on the phone originally, but I did not appreciate that sort of pressure tactic. * The plumber told me that I didn't need to worry about any stains under the old faucets (we have dark cultured marble counters), so that the smaller size of the

faucet base plates shouldn't be an issue. As it turns out, the area under our base plates was very badly faded, and I can't imagine that faucets with small base plates would have worked out. So all-in-all, I'm not happy with
Framingham HVAC Contractors Provider Name Locked
's sales tactics, nor impressed with their pricing. I saved more than $350 on this small job by going with a different plumber (ignoring the sunk cost of $55), and if I had used one of their

faucets we'd probably be miserable about how the countertops looked. kj
"Like I said, I didn't go with
Framingham HVAC Contractors Provider Name Locked
because of the slightly higher price point. But it became clear once I went with the other vendor that I should have gone with Nicholoson. Nicholoson's recommendations from the estimate were a better solution and it only became clear only after the work was done to install my new vendor (the vendor did not include the correct 2-stage thermostat, and a few other minor issues). At the end of the day, I should have paid a little more and had it done right with Nicholoson.
But, I learn from my mistakes. I now use Nicholoson for the yearly maintenance of my HVAC system. They are great!
"We had the toilet in our finished basement back up on a Sunday morning and partially flood the area. I knew right away it was the main sewer line so in my panic I jumped on Angies List and picked the highest rated plumber in my area and gave them a call. I of course made a few mistakes right away - I called a general plumber and I didn't call around. It was a Sunday morning and I wanted it fixed quick but I paid the price.
A few of the positive things to get out of the way:
1.) The plumber was prompt, punctual and well mannered. He covered his feet in the house and was not rude in any way. In fact he was so pleasant it gave me some reassurance that I was paying a fair amount. (Naive on my part)
2.) I fully accepted the $85 emergency charge - I knew it would be a bit more due to it being a Sunday
3.) They let me know the price ahead of time and I agreed - This was my biggest mistake as they assured me it was a competitive price and it wasn't until afterwords I found out it was 3x the average price (and for a

Anyway, the plumber snaked a couple of times and water was flowing. He made a point that they don't guarantee their work when snaking and no-one did - I naively believed him (its not true of course as I found out later). He also didn't use the main cleanout in the garage but instead the toilet which resulted in further charges. He didn't use the cleanout because a previous owner had a slop sink draining into it but it took me a couple of minutes to disconnect it and the second plumber (see below) a few minutes to get the main cleanout open.
After nearly $800 the backup came right back that night. It would be another $800 for them to come out again!!
I called around and got multiple quotes for $225 - $270, all with a 90 day guarantee!!!
I called

back as I thought they had actually made an honest mistake and got a Customer Rep who talked nicely but basically said it was a fair price and thats what you pay for the job to get done right. They were quick to say those charging $250 are going to hike their price and potentially break something. This gets me the most since that wasn't the case at all when I called a second plumber who completely fixed it.
In fact the second plumber (drain specialist) was able to quickly assess that our main sewer was actually disconnected from the street line and leeching into our yard. He felt so bad for me and how much
Framingham HVAC Contractors Provider Name Locked
charged he only charged $125 and I still have the warranty.
Framingham HVAC Contractors Provider Name Locked
was cordial and professional but that came at an exceptionally steep price and I really feel taken since every other plumber, no matter what they charge, agrees to solve the problem even if they have to come back again.
They seem to be good at more complex plumbing work but for something like snaking a main drain, they seem ready to take advantage of people.
PS. Even Public Works who came out later to fix the connection at the street thought the cost was outrageous and felt they were taking advantage.
"My home heating circulator was broken and had water leak. I called Mr.
Framingham HVAC Contractors Provider Name Locked
. He came promptly and replaced the faulty circulator. He is very professional and honest. For the same job other people would charge much more. Definitely I will use him again in the future, and will recommend him to others. I would give him a A++!
Thank you so much Mr.

"Very easy to set up, and the technician was skilled and knowledgeable. He advised me of potential areas needing repairs but no strong upsell pressure. I would definitely use them again.
"This was a great experience from the initial visit to the proposal to the actual completion of the project. The initial visit by

who was professional and open to questions. The team was fastidious about cleanliness including using drop cloths and booties to cover their shoes when in living areas. Even when there was a small glitch with a setting,

came over and fixed it immediately. Our basement has never looked cleaner! Both my wife and I were vry pleased with the whole project - from start to finish.
"They were able to install the new furnace within 5 days of the estimate, which was fantastic. They showed up on time, were professional, quick and did a great job cleaning up. The quality of workmanship was stellar, and I am very happy with the final result.
The only issue I had was with the thermostat. They installed a single stage thermostat to operate a two stage system. While the HVAC system can operate well with a single stage thermostat, it's not optimal. To their credit, I did check back on the estimate, and when I ran the model of the
Framingham HVAC Contractors Provider Name Locked
thermostat, it did indicate that it was single stage, I wish they made that more clear up front, since my expectations were otherwise.
Of course, I am sure the estimate price was so competitive because they did not include the work to upgrade the thermostat to 2 stage, but it just left a little bit of a sour taste in my mouth. Regardless, I'd still recommend them again.

"I was looking for the best price available without a contract.
Framingham HVAC Contractors Provider Name Locked
was the only supplier to agree to do this and their price was lower than the lock in prices. It was no contest. The delivery was done promptly and I was very pleased with their service.
"I called to find out it woudl be possible to add ductwork to an existing heating system to bring heat into 4 rooms that are currently unheated. My sales rep asked me very detailed questions about how the existing ductwork is set up. In our conversation, I found him to be extremely knowledgeable and professional...and in the end, we determined that what I was trying to do is not possible...at least not without employing some McGyver-
Framingham HVAC Contractors Provider Name Locked
tricks. He made it clear that his company wouldn't take the job if it involved employing these tricks. Much respect! By identifying that my idea would have yielded sub par results, he saved me time and energy. Unfortunately, the propery solution is not going to be an option for financial reasons...but he spent the time to help me reach that conclusion. A++ skills. I will contact
