"We would without a doubt use this provider again.
, the owner, showed up exactly when he said he would and took a detailed look at our house." We worked out a contract and the painters came within a week. Each day they came, they came EXACTLY at 8am. They did exactly what the contract promised, including cleaning up thoroughly at the end of each work day, cleaning up and disposing of waste at the end of the job and providing daily progress updates by phone. There were absolutely no surprise charges at any point during the work. The work was accomplished in a timely fashion (about 3 days for the whole job) and they modified the plans depending on the weather to make sure that our paint dried fully before it got wet. The men working on our house were unfailingly polite and obviously efficient. And they really knew what they were doing. Their masking and taping was better than what I would hope to achieve on my own--the smallest items attached to the house were expertly masked so that you could not observe the tiniest bit of paint slop anywhere. Furthermore, I cannot find a drop of paint spilled or sprayed anywhere on or around our house besides on things specified in the contract. They even painted the shed in our backyard and treated it with as much respect as every other part of the house. I was especially impressed by
's honesty and communication skills. He was always available almost instantly by phone, came over often to check on things and went out of his way to make sure that we felt that the contract had been honored. When we first contacted
, we did have some back-and-forth that might have gone on for less time. This was during the holidays, I should note, but I was still worried about the company's performance. I was
about our concerns raised by past reviews.
had obviously paid very close attention to all prior reviews and was able to discuss each less-than-stellar review without at all being defensive. He acknowledged past problems with communication (the focus of most of their "bad" reviews), apologized for any delay in communication with us and explained what was being done to fix that problem. He addressed each of my concerns with similar attention to detail.
mentioned several times that his goal was to earn a great review from us on Angie's List and that he would do what was necessary to make sure that we were happy with his company's work. In the end, I decided to give
an A in communication because I felt that
more than made up for any communication delays that we had up front. It was the holidays, after all. Finally, I was most appreciative of
's response to minor problems that arose after the painters left on the last planned day of painting. We noticed some bubbles forming in the paint on our cement porch.
responded immediately to my phone call to him, apologized, reminded me that the job at our house was not done until we were happy and within several days, another painter arrived exactly at 8am to refinish the whole porch. It turned out that a smaller bubble returned and I've talked to
about this. He said we might want to wait a couple of weeks for the weather to change before they address the bubble again. He just called again today to check on the bubbles and stopped by to look for himself. I am writing a review even while that tiny bubble sits on my porch because
has already earned an A in my opinion. Based on my interactions with this company so far, I am positive that
will follow up with this problem, just as
has promised. I can always edit my review but I feel very confident that I won't have to. Besides, things happen. I want to work with the company that comes back quickly to fix problems rather than the one that makes false promises about a perfect world. I wish that I could hire this company to do everything else that we need done. I fully expect that
will do our next coat of exterior paint.

"I've used
several times now and will continue to call on him! He's reliable, he answers the phone when nobody else will, he's" trustworthy and honest. He's been in and out of our condo when we aren't there. He does a thorough and good job at a good price.

Drywall and plaster

Knowing how your interior walls are constructed and what they are made of can help you take better care of your home, as well as provide effective maintenance. You can make small repairs yourself, but the more extensive the job the more likely you'll need a drywall repair contractor to make the wall smooth again.

Medium-sized holes can be patched in much the same way as smaller holes, but will require a patching kit to ensure a smooth finish. (Photo by Eldon Lindsay)

You may prefer the lived-in look, but a hole in the wall makes your home look a little too lived in. A pro tells how to repair a hole yourself and save money.

My sister-in-law uses brite white toothpaste and rubs it into those small holes. No prep, no sanding.
?

I've used wall liner (it applies like wallpaper only thicker) to cover a multitude of "wall sins" over the years. In my opinion it's the greatest thing since sliced bread. It doesn't look cheap or tacky, it's inexpensive, non-labor intensive and not messy to install.

I used it for the first time about 15 years ago to cover a faux brick tile on my lower kitchen walls that couldn't be removed. It was either tear the wall down or take a chance on $40 worth of wall liner. It did the job beautifully and lasted. Since then I've used it to cover paneling, a badly gouged wall after a kitchen remodel and a wall that looked like a pegboard after floor to ceiling shelving was removed.

Friends and family (and realtors!) have been amazed by the transformation after applying this simple inexpensive product.

As I was turning right on the road i didn't give much thought to the 'professional paint contractor' van that raced across my lane (he was turning left onto the same road i was turning onto, but he was coming from the opposite direction and speedily cut across the lane instead of

to the drivers in my lane.) At the next light i pulled up to the van and noticed he happened to be in the left turn lane (of two left turn
Fairhaven Drywall Contractors Provider Name Locked
) that were turning onto the freeway. The van happened to be slightly over the white line of my lane. I still didn't think it a big deal at this point, so i pulled up beside him. Big mistake. The passenger in his vehicle made and obvious look at me after the driver pointed my way. As the light turned green, I began to turn (in parallel with him) onto the freeway ramp and he accelerated and proceeded to force me out of my lane and off of the road! I honked my horn several times and he only forced me off more. I stepped on the brakes and then corrected back into my lane behind him. At this point, I realized his move was intentional (both
Fairhaven Drywall Contractors Provider Name Locked
merged into one 40 yards down the road and then merged LEFT onto the freeway -he had cut me off to the RIGHT a lane that ended later). Now i was behind him, (as were other cars) in what used to be my lane , and I was now watching him gesture to me, I responded by pointing down to the road and showing him the number "two" by holding up two fingers. I was trying to explain that there was two
Fairhaven Drywall Contractors Provider Name Locked
, as if he didn't know this already. He gestured back shaking his fist angrily, along w/ another unfriendly 'gesture'. His next move surprised me even more -after a few seconds before merging onto the freeway, he proceeded to slam on his brakes coming to an abrupt halt -all before merging onto the freeway! Thankfully, I wasn't tailgating and was able to put on my brakes safely while not rear-ending him. Several other cars behind me were forced to slam on their brakes as well. Anyway, as I said, I have not used his services but will NEVER use his services. The mere fact that I am wasting any time on writing a review shows that I am so disgusted by his dangerous and haphazard actions on the road that I felt this alone merited a 'warning' to others against having to deal with this individual in person. If you do, I hope you have a more pleasant experience than I had by simply 'sharing the road' with this individual. If you have an unfortunate experience, you were warned! Good luck!

and his team were absolutely amazing. We had three different contracting companies in for estimates to refinish our 1,100 sq ft basement (with full bath).
Fairhaven Drywall Contractors Provider Name Locked
was the only one who made suggestions and offered up ideas and we left the appointment with a vision of how our basement could look. We had already done the demolition of existing walls ourselves so the work included: some HVAC, electrical, plumbing, new framing,

and his guys were on time everyday and very professional and courteous as we work from home often.
Fairhaven Drywall Contractors Provider Name Locked
communicated everything with us and offered up options for anything that was unexpected or different from what we had initially discussed. The cost included everything in it's entirety, so not only the services and materials that

used but the bathroom fixtures we purchased ourselves (toilet, tub, sink, etc.) as well as new laundry machines. The entire job took 6 weeks and

coordinated both the electrician and plumber throughout that time frame.
Fairhaven Drywall Contractors Provider Name Locked
was on the job site almost everyday and overall definitely offered the best value for the money. We now have an amazing space that has almost doubled the size of our house. We couldn't be happier and plan on using

and his team for future projects!

The owner is very good at carpentry. His work at replacing the wood around a specific lower portion of the door frame was done very well and that was the most important part of the job in my opinion. There was a small portion of wood also replaced underneath a corner portion of our gutter. The price I was quoted assumed that much more wood would have to be replaced under the gutters. Most of the wood was found to be in good condition, however, and so some primer (which I provided) was simply splashed over the exposed wood. The price of the job did not change. My main concern was the constant lack of timeliness. He would say that he was going to come over, but simply wouldn't show. This happened many times. In all honesty, there were a few days when the weather was very cold, but I still should have received a call. I never knew when he was going to come to do the work. I also was very upset when he announced that he was done and wanted the final payment for his work. He had not finished the job as he promised and was going to simply take his money and leave. He came late and in a rush. We had discussed at the signing and several times afterward, that part of the job was to leave the door in a condition which would be paint ready. He hadn't done that. When I showed him all of the problems, he rushed to quickly fix them so he could leave. I was dissatisfied with the condition in which he left my door. I had to fix the door myself after he left before I painted it. He is a good carpenter. But I wasn't happy with his reliability or quality of other work.

I contacted him last week over email and sent pics of what I needed repaired. He responded the same day with an estimate and several days where he was available. We scheduled the appointment for today. He called me yesterday to remind me. He arrived exactly on time, took a look at the jobs, taped up plastic and got to work. All of the repairs were completed in about 2.5 hours which is exactly what he had estimated even though I added on the water damage repair today. He kept samples of all the paint he took down in case I needed to match it, cleaned up, gave me instructions on how to finish painting (that's not included). He is professional and does a good job. Highly recommend.

was great. I got a quote on my master bath on a Monday and he started work on Tuesday. I had researched several companies and all were astronomical in price and didn't respond promptly. My masterbath walls were a mess as I had removed old wallpaper that left a terrible finish and stripping on the walls.
Fairhaven Drywall Contractors Provider Name Locked
came in and worked straight through until the job was done. He quoted a day to do it and finished by noon, with no added cost! The walls look brand new, like I just had new ones put up. It is ready for paint. I've been procrastinating this for years and because of

He was very nice on the phone and accommodating when scheduling the appointment. He was equally as nice and understanding when I called to cancel the deal as my son would be doing them for me.

I was recommended to
Fairhaven Drywall Contractors Provider Name Locked
from Doggers construction after we had a flood in our home. Unfortunately we had to come out of pocket for this so we definitely had to do our homework.. We had three bids for the work and his came in the best. His crew were fantastic. They were on time, communicated everything before they started and followed up when they finished to make sure we were happy. They reconstructed the lower half of our home, drywall doors etc. Painted all the walls, tiled the bathrooms, hand made new shutters and worked with me to design a new fireplace that is PERFECT. We plan on using them for more upgrades to our home. I would highly recommend them.
