"Scheduled to get estimate of work to be done between 8-10 am on the 27/Feb/2015. Company did not show up during scheduled timing. Finally called 45 minutes (10:45am)" after scheduled timing. Stating that he was running late. I had to take off work to meet him - he never called to tell me that he was running late during 8-10am. We agreed to meet around 11 am the same day. The company calls me back to ask me where I was? The Representative informed me that he was at a TOTALLY DIFFERENT address which was about 45 minutes away from my house. I had talked with the office a couple of days before our appointment. I made sure I not only repeated the correct address twice, and also repeated the scheduled time for the appointment at least twice. And they still the whole thing totally wrong. The representative said they would call back to reschedule. To date they HAVE NOT made an attempt to call back to reschedule. I would not recommend them. It has cost me a WEEK of scheduling and a FULL day of WORK. This job order started out in the NEGATIVE.

Animals are opportunists. Once they get access to an attic, they make themselves at home. Getting them to move out, and stay out, may require the services of an animal removal professional.

First,
Danvers Animal Removal Services Provider Name Locked
was extremely responsive and punctual. He worked us right into his schedule the day after my call and kept us posted of his ETA. When he arrived he did a through examination of both attics in our house, our crawlspace, and the roof (which other inspectors had neglected). He prepared a comprehensive quote and was very upfront about the charges and warranty specifics. We reviewed his quote which was very reasonable and right in line with the other quotes we had obtained.
Unfortunately, I was laid off from my job the very next morning. The quote from
Danvers Animal Removal Services Provider Name Locked
was in >$4k range since it was a massive whole-house job including insualtion, so we are unable to do the work on one pay check.
Danvers Animal Removal Services Provider Name Locked
was really understanding when I called and told him we were putting it off until I could find a new position. What blew me away though was his call the next day. He told me he'd decided to tear up the $75 check we'd written for the inspection in light of me losing my job. This level of compassion and understanding says so much about him and the way he runs his business. We are very grateful as a family for this kindness and will certainly reach out in the future when we are able to get this job done.

They did a nice job and showed up on time. The company sent the same person both times. The first time, he was at the home for 1/2 hr – 45 minutes and the second time he was there for 20 minutes.

My cat found a squirrel in one of my closets. I thought the problem was over. Three days later I heard a huge commotion in my basement. I called
Danvers Animal Removal Services Provider Name Locked
the owner and he came over the next day. He explained to me, this was probably not a juvenile tree squirrel. He had to be sure. He came over and set a trap in the basement and the attic. The next day, he caught the flying squirrel in the attic trap. He told me, he would repeatedly be over every day or every other, if the trap was empty to ensure, I did not have an infestation. He came over for two weeks. He did a thorough

in the attic. Luckily, that was it for the squirrels. He also, did a thorough

of the roof line for possible entry points. He sealed areas with caulk and copper flashing. He was very knowledgeable and willing to share information about these animals. He humanely releases these animals. I was very happy with his service.

On
Danvers Animal Removal Services Provider Name Locked
16, 2014 Mr.
Danvers Animal Removal Services Provider Name Locked
came to my home to help me humanely evict squirrels from my attic. I explained that there was squirrel activity in two areas of my attic, on opposite sides of my house: the southeast corner and the northwest corner. The activity in the northwest corner was new.

During the visit, Mr.
Danvers Animal Removal Services Provider Name Locked
told me that he or his staff would do a thorough examination of the
Danvers Animal Removal Services Provider Name Locked
, soffit and fascia of my house to locate the squirrels' entry points. As necessary, he would place traps and humanely relocate the squirrels. Once he was sure the squirrels were no longer in the attic, he would seal off all entry points to the house. I invited Mr.
Danvers Animal Removal Services Provider Name Locked
into the house to examine the southeast area crawlspace where there was evidence of activity (tunnels in the insulation, droppings and walnuts) and he said that would not be necessary.
Danvers Animal Removal Services Provider Name Locked
’s fee for this service was $425.00 and the contract promised a 10 year guarantee against the target animal (in this case, squirrels) entering the area he was contracted to correct.
Danvers Animal Removal Services Provider Name Locked
’s business card states that he is available 7 days a week / 24 hours a day.

I heard nothing from
Danvers Animal Removal Services Provider Name Locked
as to scheduling, protocol or progress once he took my check. Some weeks later, I was in my neighbor’s yard and from that view I could see a trapped squirrel on my roof.
Danvers Animal Removal Services Provider Name Locked
had not alerted me that traps had been set or let me know when they would be checked once they were set. It was a
Danvers Animal Removal Services Provider Name Locked
that I saw them. I was alarmed because the trap was on a metal roof on a day with a temperature over 90 degrees and it was noon. In hot weather, a metal roof temperature can exceed 150 degrees. I was knew the squirrel would certainly suffer and die in that environment and I had no way to get it down. I called
Danvers Animal Removal Services Provider Name Locked
immediately and he said that he could not come out that day, despite the 7 days a week / 24 hours a day declaration on his business card. I insisted he come because it was unfair to the squirrel and to me for the squirrel to suffer in a trap on my hot metal roof.
Danvers Animal Removal Services Provider Name Locked
came out and removed the squirrel. He hammered a bit at the soffit and declared that all the squirrels had been caught. I asked about the entry points and he had no answer. I asked the about the squirrels on the other side of the house and he said everything was taken care of. He was unable to describe what had been found or what had been done, stating that his staff took care of it.

In mid November, I heard activity in the northeast corner of my house, exactly where it had been in the past when I originally contracted the service. I went into the attic crawlspace where there was evidence of the same activity that I had invited
Danvers Animal Removal Services Provider Name Locked
to see in
Danvers Animal Removal Services Provider Name Locked
(and he had declined). I called him and told him what was happening.
Danvers Animal Removal Services Provider Name Locked
said he did not remember this job and that he would have to look at the paper work. Despite the 7 days a week / 24 hours a day advertisement, I have not heard back from
Danvers Animal Removal Services Provider Name Locked
since that phone call.

I wrote Mr.
Danvers Animal Removal Services Provider Name Locked
on December 2, 2014 stating the exact information in this review. I told him that I am no longer interested in his services and that he had not kept the promises offered on his business card or contract – a violation. I told him that I have no confidence in his abilities, his ethics or his customer service. I asked for a full refund of my payment. I have heard nothing from him. I resent the letter February 26, 2014.

We called Maple Lane Pest Control to get rid of squirrels. The woman said they didn't handle squirrels and referred us to A & D. We called A & D and the woman told us the $179 price to come out & $89 per squirrel captured. She checked and said their crew would be out in 3 hours (about 25 miles away).

&
Danvers Animal Removal Services Provider Name Locked
came early. They went around the house, but didn't see any squirrel holes. They did see a mouse hole under the wooden chimney structure. They inspected the attic and found evidence of mice. When asked for what they recommended,
Danvers Animal Removal Services Provider Name Locked
said poison, which in the wintertime might last 6 months. It forces the mice to leave the attic. The hole can be plugged 2 weeks after. They said the cost would be an extra $89. We agreed & they returned to the attic and set the poison. They said that they don't have to return. He said the mice could return since we "fed" them.
Danvers Animal Removal Services Provider Name Locked
also warned us of feeding the squirrels with corn & peanuts; and the birds with seed. He said that the mice get it either from the storage in the garage or what falls on the ground. When making out the bill
Danvers Animal Removal Services Provider Name Locked
said they were members of ANGIES LIST and I could print out a $10 coupon for first visit. p.s. When I was near their pickup truck, I smelled an animal smell. I asked

and he said they had two skunks in the back. I asked him how they prevented getting sprayed by the skunks. He said he holds up a sheet when approaching the trapped animal and any spray gets on the sheet. Then he places he sheet over the cage.

Danvers Animal Removal Services Provider Name Locked
is so awesome and professional. My husband and I are go glad we went with them and not this other company that lied and said we had around 15 rats and that the cost would be 9,000! There were a total of 3 rats..... Our issue took particularly long, from November until now, but that's because our attic space is odd and split into 3 separate areas and the fact that our house is pier and beam doesn't help.
Danvers Animal Removal Services Provider Name Locked
was constantly out here checking on the traps and sealing up entry ways. over the span of the work there were 3 different guys who came out and tended to the issue and all were great! easy to deal with and very professional. Once there was no more activity in the attic and everything was sealed up it was time to do the disinfecting in the attic. Because I am very sensitive to certain chemicals they completely understood and worked with me on how to go about this. They were very accommodating and understanding. I couldn't recommend them more.
