"They performed an audiology test and the doctor said on the graph my hearing was border line. He could fit me with hearing aids but he didn't recommend it at" this time because good hearing aids were $2600 each as I recall, and he felt that my need wasn't that great yet and that I'd feel like I hadn't gotten good value for my money. He recommended coming back if the hearing got worse and he'd call me if good hearing aids became available at lower cost. He said there were several on the
at lower cost now, but he didn't didn't think the quality was good.

"I explained the issue to the doctor. She took the hearing aid and checked it out with her diagnostic equipment. She found that the wire between the ear
" and the hearing aid was transmitting, but only about half the correct level. She replaced that wire and the hearing aid worked like new again. I was extremely pleased with the service provided and the outcome.

Audiology reviews in Andover

Our wait was a little longer than one might expect but our visit was initially to get the hearing aids cleaned which was done immediately and without any wait. Only after expressing some concerns about not hearing all tones did we have to wait until the doctor finished with another patient and then we were invited back to his office for his to fine tune the hearing aides. Note: It was our choice to wait.
With all the new technology, the hearing aides stayed in the ears, a device was placed around the neck (like a big necklace) and the doctor had control of the hearing aids through his computer. He was able to adjust volume specifically for male voices and TV. At each phase of the adjustment, the doctor talked with the patient to verify they could hear well with the proposed adjustments. Once all were satisfied, he set the adjustments, restarted the hearing aids and all was complete.
All members of this facility were polite, kind, courteous and simply a pleasure to work with.

Andover Audiologists Provider Name Locked
Jr.'s staff will lie to patients about their mistakes. I consulted with Dr.
Andover Audiologists Provider Name Locked
three times about my ear, including a staph bacterial infection in my ear. Dr.
Andover Audiologists Provider Name Locked
referred me all three times to a cardiology group who specialize in mitral valve prolapse. He diagnosed me as having tinnitus when I did not have tinnitus. He ineptly tried to explain that because I have mitral valve prolapse, my ear pain and ear condition (caused by staph bacterial infection) were instead caused by my heart. He had a stack of referral cards to the cardiology group who he referred me to three times. He also gave me an unpublished paper written by him that alleges there is "a pseudo-Meniere's (inner ear) disease syndrome" created by mitral valve prolapse. I have asked three cardiologists if this is accurate medical information. All of them said that there is no such thing and any physician claiming that there is practicing deception. While his father was a great doctor and is a good man, Dr.
Andover Audiologists Provider Name Locked
Jr. is neither in my opinion. His office is shabby, dark and appears dirty. He lines his walls with ridiculous photographs of sports personalities who I presume he has or has claimed to have medically treated. He claims to spend 15 to 30 minutes with patients. He never spent more than eight minutes with me tops. I was severely hearing impaired in one ear and he said that my hearing was "great."
- Kristy B.

As with all my past visits for whatever reason, the audiologist took time to understand the problems and worked quickly and successfully to respond to and resolve the issues. In addition the audiologist always offers to clean the devices, if needed, and checks to see if I have any additional questions..

I was happily greeted at the door right away. They listened attentively and answered all my questions.

The only don't: You don't really need to look any where else, I found them wonderful from start to finish and would gladly recommend

I He was well aware that I am seriously hearing impaired. I asked him several times to speak up and he would NOT do so.
He often turned away when speaking to me forcing me to ask him to repeat himself.
You would think this person would have a bit more empathy for people with hearing loss but he doesn't.
He also literally jerked the ear mold and hearing aid out of my right ear forcibly and without warning.
All he had to do is say "Sir I need to examine your hearing aid, could you please remove the instrument in your right ear
for me"? I have been wearing hearing aids since 1981 and seen and examined by many hearing aid professionals in that time period and NOT once have I had a hearing aid technician pull something so rude and inconsiderate.
Also it took me at least one week to get an appointment. This office is only open 2 to 3 days a week.
This is really bad for the consumer. Your hearing is important and many people cannot afford to wait that long.
I will NEVER go back and if I had know this is how I would be treated II would have never bought a hearing aid from them in the first place.
Quality service and customer consideration is everything.
The receptionist also was not very friendly either, she did not even speak, say hi or even acknowledge my
presence when she came through the door. (I got there when they opened that morning) It resulted in a wasted trip for
- Barry G.

It's been a wonderful experience .They have been able to get more power out of my hearing aids and have spent more time with me explaining results then my 3 earlier audiologists combined. I am only 58 years old and spend a considerable time in meetings so having top notch hearing is invaluable. others had increased volume but I still couldn't make out what people were saying even though I had purchased top of the line hearing aids.Dr.

was able to get me to where I finally had my hearing back. customer service and followup is incredible and I would highly recommend these folks if you are new to hearing aids or haven't had a satisfying experience in the past. Bill
