Masonry Reviews in Baton Rouge

He came out on a Saturday morning to give me an estimate and returned on Monday to do the job. The work was completed in a day and it looks fine. He also patched up a few loose bricks on the patio and added some grout where it had washed out. I think he did a good job and was pleasant to work with.

I was needing several projects done to my home and time was an issue. I called the company and he was out that day to look at everything I needed done. I had seen their work and it looked great, so I called. We went over everything I wanted done and they started almost immediately. Being the holidays, I was watching costs and he accomplished all and more for less than what I was expecting. The work was perfect. Not only did he repair the fence and replace some posts; it was done better than the original installation from a different company. Instead of buying expensive parts to repair a screen door, he was able to repair the part I already had and complete the repair that way. That saved me a lot of money. The dirt work was great and I haven't had any problems since the completion of that, where before the yard was holding water. I am currently working with The Perfect Patio on another project and once moved to the new house, will contact them for the upgrades. I highly recommend this company for any of your remodeling projects.

was prompt and responded quickly to our phone call requesting a site visit and quotation. He does not include materials in his quotation. He estimated all materials needed and arranged to pick-up the prepaid materials with his truck or meet us at the Home Depot or Lowes where we paid for materials but he handled all transport. The work was completed promptly and with attention to detail. We are very happy with the quality and appearance.

is actually out of Mississippi, but he was relocating over here for the house in

. It was a lot of work done in the house, especially with the floors. He made sure the crew cleaned up every time after they finished, so we were all in pretty good shape whenever they finished for the day. When we had any complaints, he took care of it. While they were putting in the kitchen floor, there was something that wasn't done quite right and he wasn't here when they were doing it. When he came back, we explained our concern. He made the workers take up a part of the floor and start all over again. He was a good person to work with. I used him after my ex-wife used him and she was quite pleased with him. His honesty seemed to be the biggest factor working with him and I would certainly recommend him to anyone else. He did sub-contract to some people and we had some complaints about 2 of the main plumbers. They seemed to charge a little bit excessive for what their share of the work was, but he took it off of our bill what we considered the excessive amount. I guess he short bid himself. I would use him again in the future. I feel like I have a new house now.

After the January rains, I experienced a bad leak through the chimney. It wet my sheetrock and caused my laminate floors to warp and pop up. We contacted a roofer who was going to change the roofing (4 yr. old roof) around the chimeny for $1800. Thank God we decided to get a second opinion and they advised us that the problem was not the roof but the grouting on the chimney - old, porous and cracked. They suggested we contact someone with masonry experience. Through Angie's list I found Mr.

Landry from St. Francisville. He came out the next day, gave us an estimate, covered the whole chimney in plastic (to verify that this is where the water was entering the house) and he was right. After that, the leak stopped. The whole job took a little longer than I hoped, but it was due to all the rains that kept Mr.

from finishing the job. He was meticulous with his work, but he did warn us ahead of time that he was not going to finish the job in one day. The whole project took about 2 weeks from start to finish and we are thrilled with his work. If he could not come on a certain day, he would call to let us know. I thought his price was very reasonable - cheaper than it would have cost to replace the roof around the chimney. He is definitely someone you can trust doing business with - from the old school. I would definitely recommend him.
