"We remodeled our basement bathroom in preparation for putting our home on the
. We wanted to keep the cost down so Art's bid was accepted" because he came in low. Art turned out to be a topnotch craftsman, a perfectionist. He took great care from start to finish. He fashioned the mudded shower
from scratch, after he had advised us on putting in the drain properly. He recommended tiling the ceiling, the entry, and curve the tiles around the front of the entry into the shower stall. We have a "high bar" when it comes to home improvement and we were impressed with the quality of his work. Anyone who hires Art will have to work under his schedule, and sometimes for us that meant being patient and flexible. He was often there for more than 12 hours. But we can say in all honesty that it was worth it. He is licensed, bonded and insured. We would definitely call him again for any future tile or stone work. Thank you, Art!

"Initial visit and estimate was professional and prompt. Work started when promised. Work area and surrounding living spaces were kept dust free throughout. " Basement has low headroom and
consulted with us before performing leveling in certain spots where loss of height might matter. Once work started he suggested other improvements that were valuable and not included in the initial agreement but did not charge extra. Additionally, several doors had to be removed before tiling started and while I was prepared to trim the bottoms myself so that they could be put back, to my surprise,
and his team trimmed the doors and reinstalled - not expected. Overall, the result was excellent and we would use
again in a heartbeat.

Tile

Whether you want to replace a laminate floor, backsplash, shower stall or countertops, ceramic tile is a durable, easy-to-clean option that can add value to your home. Both ceramic and stone tiles are nearly maintenance free, though grout will need occasional resealing.

Tile flooring

There's nothing classier for a kitchen or bathroom floor than one made of natural tiles. But tile flooring is expensive and does have some disadvantages that homeowners should think about before making a decision on which type of flooring they prefer.

From start to finish everything went smoothly.
Stanford Tile Installers Provider Name Locked
was very patient with me as I searched for the tile color I wanted. I kept him abreast of my progress locating the tile and once I was purchased I let him know the approximate delivery date. Once the tile was delivered,
Stanford Tile Installers Provider Name Locked
and I coordinated the installation schedule via text, which worked perfectly. I purchased all requested materials ahead of time and had the bathroom clear and ready for his arrival. The morning of the installation,
Stanford Tile Installers Provider Name Locked
texted me to let me know he was on his way, arriving as promised a few minutes after 8:00am.
He and his worker went right to work, breaking only for lunch. They laid down tarps to keep from soiling my carpets as they removed the toilet and mixed the thin set concrete and grout. Once the floor was down, he replaced the toilet rehung the door and wanted to vacuum floor (this I did not allow him to do, because I was going to do it later for the entire house). When he was finished
Stanford Tile Installers Provider Name Locked
hosed off my porch, drive and yard where some grout and thin set concrete mix had spilled.
This morning I looked at my floor and I love it! The job turned out great. I have let
Stanford Tile Installers Provider Name Locked
know that I will be calling him later this year for another tile project that I want done. He has advised me on how much tile I will need to purchase and I hope to start that project in early 2016.

Getting introduced to someone like
Stanford Tile Installers Provider Name Locked
from
Stanford Tile Installers Provider Name Locked
's Ceramic Tile is precisely the reason why we subscribe to Angie's List. I haven't come across an advertisement for his company, and being new to the area, would not have been able to get his name through a referral. After checking Angie's List, I saw all of the positive reviews, so I called him for a quote.
As you will see when you speak with him, there is a reason so many people have left such rave reviews of him and his company. Count me among the multitudes of his incredibly satisfied customers. His professionalism, honesty, attention to detail and integrity is simply beyond reproach.
We wanted a cost-effective solution to cracked and leaking tiles surrounding an old tub. This included some water damage repair. The prior owners apparently stuck tile onto old drywall. We noticed that we were getting leaks into the walls and onto our ceilings downstairs.
Stanford Tile Installers Provider Name Locked
gave me an honest assessment of the problem, and offered many solutions. Because a full bathroom remodel isn't in our budget at the moment, we went with a solution that ended the water leaks and rebuilt the surrounding structures around the old tub.
It's been about a month since the work was completed, and we could not be happier with the results.
Once we save up enough to do a full bathroom remodel,
Stanford Tile Installers Provider Name Locked
will be our first -- and perhaps only -- telephone call.

Tile and grout look good for 15 years of wear. Most of the grey grout cleaned up nicely. Some of the grey grout did not (high traffic areas). Very satisfied with service. Service techs were professional and knowledgable.

It went great! We are so proud of our back splash. He was on time and very professional. Unlike most, he took the time to answer all our questions and explain in detail what was going to happen. We had our own ideas of what we thought would look good after spending numerous hours investigating designs, etc. He very quickly brought to our attention that some of the ideas that we had in mind for it might not be the best route to take. We are so glad he did because he was absolutely on the money. What we had picked out to do would not have been the correct avenue to take. He is very hands on and does an excellent job of supervising his workers. He is very meticulous with laying out the design. We had no idea of the process involved in putting in a granite kitchen with a back splash. It is a process! He made it all go so smoothly. He is a man of his word and he makes good on his promise. He was willing to go beyond the call of duty to make sure we were happy with the outcome. Today, he came by to put on the final sealer on the back splash. Folks, we have a beautiful back splash and we owe it all to

I had spoken with
Stanford Tile Installers Provider Name Locked
and had made all the arrangements. We agreed on the date and the time. The technician
Stanford Tile Installers Provider Name Locked
was punctual and professional. He was very respectful of our home and property. He measured the areas and advised that it was under the 300 sq ft in the Angie's List deal. I told him that I wanted the tiles and grout in the three shower stalls cleaned as well.
Stanford Tile Installers Provider Name Locked
explained that these were not part of the deal because results could be unsatisfactory, and he showed me areas of concern. I told him that I understood what he was saying, but would be OK with the results because I could not clean them on my own.
The end result was amazing. The grout and tile that were covered in the deal came out looking like new. The shower stalls also looked great, except for the areas that
Stanford Tile Installers Provider Name Locked
had warned me about.
All in all, a great job and great communications.

We hired
Stanford Tile Installers Provider Name Locked
to install a tile shower in our master bathroom, ceramic tile floors in our master bathroom, ceramic tile floors in our kitchen/dining area, and more ceramic tile in a hall bathroom. We worked with Sandy
Stanford Tile Installers Provider Name Locked
at
Stanford Tile Installers Provider Name Locked
, who said she owned the store but as we learned later does not own the store. Once we chose the tile for both floors, the crew came out and began work. They kitchen floor was not laid properly. Sandy's work crew refused to pull up the existing laminate floor and instead laid the ceramic tile over the existing floor. This has caused issues and the tiles are moving, popping out, and the grout is coming loose. Secondly, the shower tile was installed unevenly and subsequently has a topography that is easily noticeable. Also, her workmen built the tile out unevenly with the wall and then left the job without building the drywall out to the tile. Phone calls were made to Sandy
Stanford Tile Installers Provider Name Locked
and she lied on three different occasions that she had contacted her contractor to finish the job and that he was not calling her back. Meanwhile, our hall bathroom was not completed and, as it turned out, was not completed by
Stanford Tile Installers Provider Name Locked
. Sandy
Stanford Tile Installers Provider Name Locked
then refused to refund us our money for the hall bathroom tile and the work that was not installed. She did, however, continue sending us bills. We contacted Sandy
Stanford Tile Installers Provider Name Locked
through text as well as phone calls to remedy the situation by giving us our refund and to discontinue sending us bills for work that was not completed. Sandy
Stanford Tile Installers Provider Name Locked
then treatened me over text message that if I continued contacting her that she would file a lawsuit against us for saying that we sexually harassed her. I filed a complaint with the Better Business Bureau and they assisted us in getting in contact with the real owner of
Stanford Tile Installers Provider Name Locked
located in
Stanford Tile Installers Provider Name Locked
, Illinois. The real owners of the business and the Better Business Bureau assisted us in cleaning up the mess that Sandy's crew made, had our carpets cleaned after Sandy's crew walked on them with grout on their shoes, and gave us the refund we deserved. I do not recommend
Stanford Tile Installers Provider Name Locked
for any flooring work. Sandy
Stanford Tile Installers Provider Name Locked
of
Stanford Tile Installers Provider Name Locked
lied to us several times, her crew was unprofessional, did lousy work, and did not leave your home secure once they finished working for the day, and did not finish the job that we paid them to do. There are other quality places in the Bloomington/Normal area for your flooring needs.
