"We purchased our home August, 2014. Obviously had had some water, but we were told since a backflow had been put in the prior year there had been no issues. June," 2015 rolled around and we had more water in our basement than we could believe. We knew we were going to address fixing up the drainage eventually, but were hoping to wait a few years and that just wasn't going to happen. After weeks of looking, we found
.
came out and did an estimate. He was EXTREMELY nice, well educated on his services and products and there was no hard sell. In addition to the trenching and the change of sump pit and pumps, we had plastic liner installed on the interior block walls. The walls seeped and actually had some water draining in the wet spring (records breaking wet spring) we had in this area. With the work performed, we shouldn't have any issues with this, but again, it was an option we chose and couldn't be happier. The work took two days and the crew was out for 10-12 hour days. They laid out protective sheeting on our entry ways and steps and took care with the house itself so as not to cause any damage to anything. The crew was very courteous, friendly and worked extremely hard. We were very pleased with the cleanup and I was shocked at how well it looked. Any questions we had were answered and before they left, we were shown around, talked through the process and asked if we had any other questions. We were also encouraged to contact the company should anything else need to be addressed. We really couldn't be happier. We did have another company quote prior to
coming out and we did not get a good feeling from the first place, the price was higher for less work and pretty much given an attitude of "you're just another number."
and his crew were night and day difference. We most likely won't know just how well the system is taking care of us until we have another series of rains, but trust that
will take care of any problems should any arise. If anyone is having any issues that this company is able to take care of, we encourage you to contact them. Honest, hard-working, trustworthy and fairly priced.

"I was overall satisfied with the jobm The problem started when i contacted them to advise of an issue with installation. It's been almost 2 months and no one" has came out to access or address the problem. I sent an additional text msg and still no response. Initially they were very responsive but I'm not sure what going on.

Mold in a basement is a common problem. My company helps people with this every day. Some of the answers you received were helpful but not all the information is correct. First, you need to eliminate the two main ingrediants that mold needs to survive. The first one is water intrusion. This is a must. I am assuming you have no water intrusion as you make no mention. The second componant that needs to be eliminated is moisture. Moisture is also humidity. Basements need to be kept airtight in the summer months. Some folks have posted that you need air flow in your basement. Nothing could be furthur from the truth. When you open any windows for example, not one micron of air goes out of the basement, Warm humid air is sucked into the basement. Houses suck air into the basement and it meets the cool surfaces and skyrockets humidity. The windows must be kept closed and a dehumidification device installed to ensure humidity stays below 60% humidity. The dehumidifier should be energy star rated and purchasing a seperate humidity guage is a must to monitor the unit's progress. We like to keep our customer's basements at 50% humidity. This eliminates the smell that is active mold spore growth. Once the water and humidity is brought under control. Remove the organic materials that have mold on them. Walls, sheetrock and studs that have been affected. Follow the advice of previous posts as you must ensure that you do not affect the rest of the home. Once removed, install new walls using as much inorganic material as possible. We also install vapor barrier over the walls and seal the floors to stopwater vapor transmission into the basement. Poly plastic is not a acceptable vapor barrier. It is not "zero-perm" and will still allow moisture transmission. It will also crack and break into pieces over the years. A PVC liner rated "zero-perm" is the correct product in this application. Depending how large the basement is and if it is sectioned off will determine the dehumidifier strength. We use the Santa Fe line of dehidifiers as they are super energy efficiant and work like a dehumidifier on steriods. I hope this helps and I wish you the best in Basement Health!

Where is the home located, what is the exterior wall construction and type, how is the space heated?

It could be a whole host of different scenarios that would generate that result.  It is nearly impossible to tell but I would say that most basement moisture problems are a result of bulk moisture intrusion or condensation issues.

Given the deep and hard winter this year, it could be a condensation issue that hadn't previously been shown.

and his crew are all fabulous. Everyone working on our basement for those 2 days were very professional and courteous. They worked quickly and efficiently and left our basement a lot drier and cleaner. They were really careful while installing the drain pipes outside the house, even transplanting some irises. I would highly recommend them.

There was a time delay due to the incorrect replacement window well being sent from the manufacturer to the service provider on a special order but once the correct part was received the installation work went smoothly. The installation crew arrived ahead of schedule. They were courteous, friendly and conscientious about their work. They took precautions to protect the lawn from being damaged by the removal of the old window well. They kept me informed of their progress and finished within the time estimated (six hours). They returned landscaping around the window well to its original condition, swept the nearby driveway clear of debris and raked the lawn. They carted away the old window well leaving the property immaculate.

One could not ask for a more responsive, competent, and diligent crew. I found Bill, the owner, to be very knowledgeable as to the causes of the problem in my basement and clear in his explanation of the solution for it. Bill,

, and

took pride in their work and did it well. Because of the rainy weather this spring, the work could not begin until the middle of August. The time worked out well for me since by then I was done with rehab for knee replacement surgery. Prior to that, Bill had offered that the crew could help me by taking my dogs out if I was not able. This speaks volumes about the kind of person he is. Bill and his crew went beyond what was required.

The crawl space of my house was always filled with water during the heavy rainy period. Also, there was a problem need to be taken care of from the previous job done by “Budget Dry Waterproofing Inc” on the front basement caused the discharged water flooded my neighbor’s yard. Budget Dry left me with the problem and wanted to charge me to take care of it or sign up for the crawl space waterproofing job. There is no way I want to work with a contractor that irresponsible and totally not trust worthy.
The sales person evaluated the space and discussed with me a plan to solve the problem for good. The plan was to install the French Drain system and a sump Pump for the crawl space.
The crawl space is just about 4 feet tall, it’s not easy for a regular height person to use the concrete jackhammer to

up the concrete for a complete perimeter French Drain and a sump pump system installation. It is a large space, over 1000 square feet.

It was a one day project. The crew members arrived on time and were courteous and professional. They installed the
basement system accordingly as agreed on the contract. They resolved the “discharged water flooded my neighbor” problem. The place cleaned almost spotless after the job was done. As my request, the manager and the crew members did their best and go beyond to move the discharged pipe a few feet more away from the house to make sure the customer was happy.
The project was done smoothly. The customer service representatives were very helpful too. They answered all my after installation questions. Also, I was able to sign up for a six months interest free payment plan. Since the waterproofing system installed there is no more water in the crawl space. I am just so happy that I have

System to do the waterproofing system. They did an outstanding job. I would recommend them for your basement project.

Jyurovat managed the onsite crew, and was really great to work with. They showed up each day almost on the dot of when they said they would, went about the work in a very professional manner, kept me totally informed as to what they were doing and why, and cleaned up each night as much as possible. The crew members were also knowledgeable, very responsive to my questions or requests, and did a great job.
Integrity was the most expensive of the three proposals I obtained, but given the job they did, and the ease of working with them, they are the only one I would call if I had any other waterproofing problems.
