"So far, we have had
perform 3 projects for us. The first project was for drywall repair in two rooms, and the installation of new attic" stairs (e.g., the pull-down ladder type) in a hallway. He did a great job! We then had our home, outbuilding, and deck painted. He did a great job sanding the deck first, applying primer to the house, etc. Finally, we had a house in the mountains (Winter Park/
) repaired (siding had woodpecker holes in it), and also painted. Once again, he did a great job despite the distance and difficulty getting materials up there. I would highly recommend
and his crew.

"First it was very difficult to get in touch with the company and schedule the service. On the day they were finally scheduled, they were a no show. When I called" and spoke with
, he did not even have it on the books. So he arranged to specially send someone out on the next Saturday. When the worker arrived, and I discussed with him the work that needed to be done, along with the additional work that I wanted to purchase, and he stated that I would need an estimate and therefor he was unwilling to do any of the work. He would not even do the 4 hours of wood rot repair that I had purchased. After calling
and discussing,
sent the worker back to the house. He still refused to do the wood rot repair, but finally, after much arguing, agreed to replace the three front steps. He then left for Home Depot to buy three boards. He was gone for 2 hours to buy three boards. When he returned, he advised me that even though I had the paint, he would not paint the steps. He changed out the boards on the steps and left without a word. When I went out and looked at the unpainted steps, I saw that 2 of the 3 boards had deep cracks running the length of the board, and would need to be replaced.
, who was very pleasant on the phone, came out later that week to give me an estimate for the rest of the work. The estimate was high. I went with another company who performed the work for less, found the cause of the wood rot, and fixed the flashing as well included in the price and added other services as well. My experience with the company was very unpleasant and delayed my project for 2 1/2 months (while the home owners' association was breathing down my back), cost me additional money and time due to the cracked boards used on the steps, and I ended up having to paint the steps myself. Over all, this was an extraordinarily frustrating experience. I would not use this company again, despite
's pleasant nature.

Carpentry/woodworking

Finish carpenters can design, build and install woodwork structures in your house to enhance the quality and adorn the attractive appearance of your home. There carpenters can complete several different jobs for new homes or remodeling of an existing house.

Baseboards and molding

Baseboards and molding serve a practical function -- covering up the space where walls and floors join, as well as protecting the wall from scuffs and dents. But they also provide a decorating opportunity.

You need a general contractor - prefereably one who specializes in additions, because you have excavation, waterproofing, concrete, concrete cutting, carpentry, door and window, etc trades to coordinate.

The cost will depend a great deal on your topography around the house - if the base of the window will be above ground level at least 6 inches, then could run about $500 for a legal egress window purchase and about $1000-2000 for installation, depending on how deep into the concrete you have to cut.

If the bottom of the window will be below ground level, then to call it a bedroom (which mandates legal sized second egress and usauully at least one window)  then you will have two choices - bring it out into a solid watertight concrete storm cellar with collar to keep water out, stairs, and and weather and bug-tight cellar door that is inward-opening, which means a lot of space for stairs and landings top and bottom, or bring it out into an oversized window well at least 36 inches in diameter, and with steps to ground level, with adequate drainage and waterproofing to keep it dry. Either way, sometimes about as easy to put in an outside door as a window, and might raise property value more. Cost from $2-5,000 depending on how deep into concrete wall you have to dig, whether concrete wsall needs reinforcing with steel frame because of the depth of cut, how easy the digging is, and what your water conditions are near the foundation. The last thing you want to do is create an easy water or vermin ingress with your egress.

Dictated by Federal LAW , you will need a Licensed and EPA Certified HVAC Contractor

to make such repairs . In fact , by law , ONLY A licenesed HVAC contractor can buy or install

said eguipment , NOT A handyman nor general contractor !

YES , You should have an A.C. sleeve surrounding the through the wall unit . These sleeves will usually accompany NEW products , either as a package or an add on equipment purchase.

Contact a Licenesed PROFFESSIONAL at once !

It depends on what type of ramp you need. If it is built out of wood you could look for a carpenter or a deck company. If you are looking for a concrete ramp a mason would be what you are looking for. There are also metal ramps and I believe some medical supply companies may carry them or be able to steer you in the right direction. As for insurance coverage I am not sure. You may have coverage and would be best talking to your agent. Depending on why you need this ramp there may even be programs through your local government or even some of the local charities might help. It might be a project a local Scout Troop might help out on.

Wellsville Carpenters Provider Name Locked
delivers once again. I called
Wellsville Carpenters Provider Name Locked
Monday night explaining my issue (new car I want to purchase won't fit in garage due to loft stairs being too big).
Wellsville Carpenters Provider Name Locked
was able to schedule the appointment for next day, come do the job, and what a success. Most importantly he he CLEANED UP ALL THE DEBRIS. The garage looked cleaner after
Wellsville Carpenters Provider Name Locked
was done than before he came.

This might be the biggest testimony thought to my ongoing experience with
Wellsville Carpenters Provider Name Locked
. This is the first time I've had
Wellsville Carpenters Provider Name Locked
come where neither me nor my wife could be home. I felt completely confident giving
Wellsville Carpenters Provider Name Locked
access to our garage (remote keypad entry) without us being home. It's so good to have a contractor I trust enough to handle things without us being there.
Wellsville Carpenters Provider Name Locked
not only does good work, but he's as honest as they come. He'll continue to get business from us as we need it.

Contacted through email. I emailed back him back and went through work that was needed. I asked to see if we could use his overload/overflow guys as the work needed to be done quickly. SP said he is only two weeks out. I responded with this email to say ok. On the 22nd august i contacted him to see if he was available he said he would check his schedule. I then went into hospital did not hear from him. Once I got out of hospital and contacted
Wellsville Carpenters Provider Name Locked
to see if i was still on his waiting list I was told that he had sent me an email whilst in hospital early in the week and never heard from me so they had already filled their schedule and I was unable get the work completed. I checked my email to see if i had received an email whilst in hospital and no email was found. I feel frustrated and let down by this company, i wish they had just let me know from the start they weren't able to schedule to work so I didn't have to go through the stress of finding a new company.

was great and I would highly recommend him! He returned my call one day - and we scheduled the work for the very next day. He arrived on time, gave me a quote and started work. I was the most impressed with the quality of his work in making a new wooden window sill to replace the old one - it fits great and looks great. If you need carpentry work -

didn't show or call saying he couldn't make it! I called on August 20 and he said his first appointment would be September 1st. Since he had such good reviews here on Angie's List, we decided to put our kitchen remodel off for a few weeks until we could meet with him.
He didn't show for our meeting in which my wife and I had rearranged our work schedules to make happen. We also have two babies under the age of 1 and arranging for their care for the meeting is no small feat.
I called 30 minutes after our planned appointment time and he seemed truly sorry, that he should have called to tell us he couldn't make it. He wanted another

--but we can't

him tearing our kitchen apart and then not showing back up.
I'm sure he does great work--wish we could have had the

was very responsive and easy to contact with questions or concerns. He and his crew were on time and showed up when they said they would. The work was done well by

and all of the sub contractors. All the debris was cleaned up at the end of the work day. The bathroom came out just as I planned and looks great! I would definitely use
