He's good. It's hard to get an appointment sometimes. They have a main number that you call for all these different offices, and that staff is miserable. I hate trying to do anything through that staff. The last time I was there, I complained about it and their receptionist gave me her phone number so I could bypass them. His staff at his office are good, really nice, patient and helpful.

Saw his PA and he was great. First Medical person who talked reasonably about my weight and how genes affect it and how I should work on losing some and maintaining it as it is the bigger problem. Talked about my A1C saying that if I have had it at this level for the years I have, it doesn't mean I will ever get diabetes. Also wrote a prescription for a test to be included with my regular blood work in three months at my regular Doctor so I can see my risk of Thyroid issues. Spent all the time he needed to discuss everything including all my concerns. I thoroughly felt better about myself and what I might be able to accomplish with reducing my weight and A1C. I would recommend them to all my friends if they want frankness and NOT the pat answers always given by Doctors: you are eating too much, you should do more exercise, you should weigh this according to our tables.....etc. Loved them.

He does excellent work. He put my diabetes in remission very quickly. He answers questions very well. You don't have to wait that long for appointments. He's very personable and will talk to you about your issues and take time with you. He did have a problem where you had to wait forever whenever you went to see him, and he changed office and his staff, and now you hardly have to wait at all. It's really nice. The fact that he was willing to make that change and deliver better customer service was important, in addition to being a great doctor.

In the three times I saw this doctor, he never once took a complete medical history. He simply increased the dosage of the injectible medication,

and sent me on my way. Office visits were very short and he was very proud of the fact that this office had over 5000 patients. During one visit, I was showing symptoms of low blood surgar and neither he nor the office nurse knew what was wrong. He kept insisting that

could not cause low blood surgar when in fact the company who makes the medication says its the number 1 side effect. Doctor seems totally clueless. His office staff said we owed a deductible on our last visit which has not been paid, when in fact, I have the cancelled check for the service. Stay away from this doctor. He is clueless and possiblly dangerous. He tried to update his medical records on our last visit there by asking me what dosage medication I was on. Would never recommend this guy to anyone

very attentive, listen to everything I said, great relating to the problems, listens, didn't rush, took her time,

As always Dr.
Wellington Endocrinologists Provider Name Locked
treated me with professionalism and compassion. His medical treatment is way above any other physician. At my first appointment with him in November of 1996 he discovered a growth on my thyroid which he followed. It ended up being malignant and due to the discovery I am still here today and have been allowed to raise my precious daughter who was only 2 and 1/2 at the time. I am sure that no other doctor would have found it. He is very thorough.

I was scheduled to meet with an insulin pump rep to go over my new insulin pump and sensor. When I went to check in I was
informed that I wasn't going to be trained since they didn't set up the training and it was lunch time (actually is was an hour and 15 minutes prior to their posted lunch hours). This training had been set up a week in advance and I was never notified of any change or cancellation. I had made all the arrangements needed to be there since it is out of town. After their lunch I went back into the office I was told that the rep was there this morning but since I was a 'no show' the appointment was cancelled and the rep is now gone.
This topped a continuing issue with an office staff that has in the past had a high staff turnover (with exception of the Office Manager who had been the receptionist and billing) lost paperwork, forgotten paperwork (requiring multiple request) doubled billed for office visits, excessive wait times, and now cancellation of a needed class. I was flustered; worried about being called a no show for an appointment I showed up for, and upset about being misinformed to about the pump rep. I wanted to speak with someone about why I wasn't to be trained, was it just because they didn't set it up or were they upset that I was choosing a different vendor than the one they promote. When I broached the subject with the office staff she walked down the hall announcing "SHE"S HERE" which did nothing for my mood, I informed them that yes I was here and that the office manager was inept in her ability to properly manage the office.
My husband contacted the diabetic supply representative who told me she was indeed in the office and not informed of my presence in the waiting room. She was told that she could train me in a public location (possible HIPAA issue not to mention loss of dignity and privacy) but not in his office. My husband tried to contact Dr.

to inform him of the behavior and performance of his staff and a message was given to me to tell him not to contact Dr.

or his office ever again.
I received a call from the Nurse Practitioner the next day and we had agreed that the office manager and I would move forward and be civil towards one another and I assumed the matter was closed. The following week I received a certified letter from Dr.
Wellington Endocrinologists Provider Name Locked
informing me that I was a difficult patient and was not to be given any further medical care by him. I was, as a relatively new type one insulin dependent diabetic abandoned by the physician who only heard one side of the story, his office staff.
I find it appalling that a professional would assume that his staff is guiltless and that a patient who was stressed, on a new medical device, and mistreated, is being hostile by calling his staff inept. When did standing up for yourself and refusing to be bullied in your own healthcare constitute being difficult. As a retired advanced practice nurse, I can only shutter to think what happens to the uninitiated and uninformed patients. This is the reason for my posting.

was the only Dr. I saw, out of many, who was actually familiar with neuroendocrine dysfunction caused by a concussion.
He ordered the tests and proved that I was suffering from hypopituitarism.
He has been extremely good at figuring which meds I need and how to adjust the dosages of medications that I need based on my symptoms and blood levels. I feel like he really listens to me and takes the time to provide me with exceptional treatment.
Since I live in the LA Metro area, I'm able to make and have appointments with him via email which is extremely convenient.
My quality of life has improved vastly since I started seeing and getting treatment from Dr.
