Cardiology reviews in Wamego

The procedure was done well and properly.
However, BE AWARE. This appointment will cost you substantially more than the bill states.
The office was unable to bill either of my medical insurances and rapidly put the bill of 250.00 into collection thus destroying my credit.
Numerous attempt to contact the hospital apparently was in vain. Billing is out sourced and the failure to include the last digit on the insurance id resulted in no payment.
Attempts to contact the billing agency resulted in inaccurate description of re-submission to the insurance provider. After 7 months and a credit report destroyed. I was finally provided with information of which persons to call and had to conference in one of the insurance companies (the one randomly selected by the provider) to provide for a "timely filing exception".
It's unfortunate that the hospital, the various doctors, and the multitude of billing agencies do not have any process for exchange of data.
Good thing I spent an hour in pre-registration confirming all the insurance information before the appointment.

I have been seeing the doctor for about 8 years. He is very professional and knowledgeable in his field. He is open to his patients questions and suggestions. He is a quality doctor. The staff is very good and scheduling is very easy.

He is part of the Pinnacle Health System. I have been seeing him for about ten years. There is virtually no waiting and I have always waited less than five minutes. The office is organized very efficiently. When I need to make an appointment, he is able to see me within a week. I can probably see him within twenty-four hours if there is an urgent situation. I never feel rushed during my appointment. You have the feeling with him that you are real important. He also communicates efficiently with my PCP by email and telephone. The last time I saw him, it was after a major heart episode and Dr. Bokelman gave me a hug before I had left. He has excellent bedside manner and is an excellent doctor!

He is the first cardiologist. He seems to be very thorough. When Dr.

regularly does a cardiogram when I go and see him. When he looked at it, he saw the little flutter and said that even though there was no problem, oftentimes when you are out of rest or there were some signs that there is that flutter in the heartbeat. He said even though there were no problems, that it wouldn't be a bad idea to begin seeing a cardiologist. That was when I started seeing Dr. Kanarak. He keeps up to date on what's happening. For instance, when you have pacemaker, you have to be monitored by either a phone call where you connect to something or you physically go into the hospital. I was there a couple of weeks ago. Twice a year you go in physically into the hospital. A couple of other times a year when they check, they do it by phone. He said, "I would like to take a look at that or report and ask them to send to me." So when I went to the hospital the other day, I gave them the script where he was requesting to see that.

I was very pleased with my care and the promptness of being able to get an appointment. Upon my first visit I saw a doctor and he took time to examine me and talk to me about my symptoms. He took time with me, and explained many things pretaining to my symptoms. Tests were ordered and they were completed within a short period of time. Results were given to me very promptly. The staff was very friendly and efficient.

This Doctor is an excellent cardiologist, who is deeply concerned about his patients. He listens to patients and explains in ordinary English the medical conditions and the medications or procedures. He does not rush you out of the office but takes as much time as you need. He is caring, and has a friendly bedside manner. This Doctor who I have been seeing for several years has literally saved my life, so how could I complain ?
- Daniel C.

Dr was prepared and had my hard records in hand and computer records on his laptop. Listened to my concerns and responded. Staff was friendly and courteous. Dr had pleasant and accommodating manner.
