"I want to thank the clerks and the pharmacists at the
CVS for the consistent and courteous service I receive as a regular weekly patron. I have been so impressed" with the professionalism of the pharmacy staff with regard to both their efficiency and their patience with my questions or concerns. I also would like to especially thank
at the front counter in the retail section. I never fail to get a cheerful smile, a bit of advice and a reminder to check my wallet for the CVS Rewards dollars that she always separates from my receipts and ensures I have tucked away in my wallet. I look forward to going into the store and each staff member has never failed to recognize me (more often than not by name) greeted me with a warm welcome. It's not a small thing to me that in this day and age there are people who make you feel like they are happy to see you when you walk into a business. Well done CVS and, of course, thank you
for always being a bright spot in my day.

"During the last two months our experience with the Forest Lake
has gone from a positive one to a terrible one. During this time Target changed to a new computer" system which did complicate their ability to provide good service. However, my issues with the pharmacy are independent of their computer system. 1. The pharmacy announced in a loud voice the name of my private prescriptions and the fact that we were dealing with a temporary loss of health insurance. They did this repeatedly during at least three visits. Other customers noted my embarrassment and were sympathetic. One woman was dealing with the same issue and was in tears. 2. I went to the pharmacy and asked to pick up one of the four prescriptions I had filled. The man at the counter turned to the staff in the back and said in a loud voice, "she can't afford her prescriptions, can she only pick up one?" Everyone anywhere near the pharmacy could hear him clearly. 3. I tried to use manufacturer provided discount cards which had never been a problem previously. From the back of the pharmacy, a pharmacist announced to me, "You can't use this card if you don't have insurance, these cards are only for people with insurance." Again, everyone in the pharmacy including customers could hear her. Her information was incorrect. I stood at the pharmacy for an hour and forty-five minutes while they repeatedly said, "It will be another few minutes, using these coupons complicates everything." We are in the process of transferring all of our prescriptions to another pharmacy. I would not recommend
in Forest Lake to anyone. They have no regard for HIPPA laws and customer privacy. We had a temporary loss of insurance and they treated us terribly. I cannot imagine how they treat customers who regularly do not have health insurance.

"The staff is nice and professional and they smile. They have nice bargains and some items are graded pretty good and certain brands of stuff are a little higher. They give the best" advice and information about the medicine.

Price for my prescription went from $101 up to $129. When I questioned the price increase, they said it was just an "increase in the cost of the medicine." I could see a 5-10% increase, but this was a 27.7% increase. I found another pharmacy that will provide the same prescription for $92.

Avoid the CVS at 9520 Ga.
Ave. they are mismanaged. In this nearly
empty store, there are prominent signs urging us to get flu shots, as well as
signs touting the “Minute” Clinic. The
advertisements notwithstanding, the pharmacy was out of flu shots. The pharmacist
said that the “Minute Clinic” had them, but he could not access the clinic’s
vaccine supply, nor did he know when he would be re-supplied. although I was advised
of a 20 minute wait, I had to wait an entire hour for a flu shot. “Minute” my eye! The nurse practitioner was quite competent, DID AN EXCELLENT JOB OF GIVING THE SHOT and communication all of the professional information.
but had no support and had to clean her own area between patients. Meanwhile the pharmacy had 3 employees who
did not seem overly taxed. Where is the management?

The pharmacist that I talked to said, "I don't know off hand what you need to use but let me research it. She got back to me very promptly and I went up and bought the recommended items and then she followed up about two weeks later. I have never had a pharmacist follow-up on anything. It's absolutely amazing. It's just an incredible experience.

They know me by name so that's kind of nice. They basically communicate through instructions that are left on the prescriptions so I don't really talk all that much to the pharmacist. It's just the instructions clearly written out for the prescription you're taking and you also get like the physician's best reference portion of it, so you know exactly what you're taking and what it's for and what kind of side effects you could have and all of that sort of thing.

My doctor prescribed the generic version of Percocet for my fibromyalgia, and someone there called the police to arrest me for a DUI as I was leaving to go to church one morning. I had to spend the night in jail. I'm 72 years old. I got a DUI ticket and I had to pay $620 to get my car back, and I had to hire a lawyer. I don't even take as much as I'm prescribed. I will avoid CVS from now on. My doctor is writing a letter for my case. She's a very professional and qualified doctor.

They are awesome because they knew my folks and they know me. They are really good and professional. They filled my orders when I really called up and it was crazy when I didn't think I'd ordered and they were patient and understanding. They try to help me find something cheaper and they are very helpful in trying to find prices.
