Orthopedic Care Reviews in Overland Park

He has good common sense and is not just ready to jump into the surgery room. He will try out all the other options before surgery which I like. It takes a long time to get into see him as he is busy. My knee is still messed up after the surgery. I would use him again in the future.

entered the examining room for my first visit with him wearing a bluetooth headset which is kept on for the entire visit. I explained my concerns, particularly that I was a guitarist and feared not being able to play anymore if I had surgery. Despite my gut feelings, I went ahead with the outpatient surgery. I was released despite evidence I was bleeding through the dressing on my finger, and was told not to remove the dressing until my appointment with Dr
to remove the stitches. Over several days, the pain increased and I could tell the dressing had adhered to my incision, so I finally went to the Emergency Room where they had to soak the dressing to remove it from my finger. A stitch had come undone as well and when my finger healed it left a noticeably thick, tender spot on the side of my finger. Pain also remains under the fingernail, and the finger is visibly shorter than it was. In seeing a second physician I was told quite a bit of bone was removed from the fingertip, and the bone that remains is hooked backward toward the nailbed and causes pain. Nearly four years later I find the finger is still somewhat numb, painful, and the decreased length did cause problems with guitar playing - despite bringing my fear of this to Dr
's attention. Dr
's office environment is very nice, they have clearly spent a lot on furnishings and such. His care for his patients is sorely lacking, though. Stay away.
