Sample ICU Doctors Reviews
"I love Dr me from seeing him, if you are considering weight loss surgery. He "
"I can say that some of the staff at WPMC is fantastic. However on a whole I was terrified while I was there. I was admitted to ICU and the nurses didn't have the courtesy to close my curtains when a patient who had passed away was leaving the hospital. I don't expect this courtesy for me but for the family of the deceased. My husband and I were constantly told two different things. I don't feel like the staff communicated with each other very well. We heard terrible stories about people getting Staph infection while at this hospital. Very scary place. So glad my husband's surgery was in Garden City."
"It used to be a catholic hospital, but now it's not run by the Catholic Church. I was actually an outpatient, but the doctor wanted me to stay overnight because I had pain. I think it was a pretty good hospital and they were responsive. Everything was good. They were there if I needed them. They actually get busy so sometimes they can't rush to one right away, but they come if they press the button. They would even let one stay there for 2 hours."
"The nurses were not only professional but very friendly. They were very caring. They were positive. They always made sure that my husband was doing well because he was in a lot of pain. I found them to be extremely friendly. There was only one nurse who instead of following doctor’s instructions always used to question why she had to do that. My husband was in pain and she wouldn’t give him pain killers. I would use them in the future."
"I would rate them pretty good. The particular doctors and their departments I deal with now do a very good job. Their availability is decent. The office environment is very nice. I several different doctors and all of them are very good. I have dealt with some lousy ones in the past but the ones that I am currently dealing with are very good."
"It was very good. They were overloaded, and had too many people, but they were very good at taking care of everybody. They were clean and comfortable and they took care, even thought they had more patients that they could deal with, it was winter and everybody was sick. They were busier than normal. The hospital had a deal, if I pay off within 30 days of the insurance payment, I'd get a 25 percent discount. So I had to pay a $1900 bill for my husband for the inpatient stay. I was impressed."
"I go to this doctor fairly regularly, and she's wonderful. She's just so calm, comforting, and just acts like a normal person. She gives you plenty of time and never rushes you out, and she's got a great staff and bedside manner."
"My husband was hospitalized in January 2011 for pancreatitis and received great care at the facility from the nurses and hosptialist that took care of him. He was both in the ICU and regular room and got really good care and prompt attention when needed. I was very impressed and it is really hard to impress a nurse when they are taking care of one of your family members. I would recommend this facility to anyone. The only thing that aggravated me was that the emergency room "
