& Repair does fairly descent plumbing work, but does not cleanup and put finishing touches on his work. He installed a bathtub surround, faucet and toilet for me. He did not turn the water on! The tub was filled with drywall dust when he got finished. He left the supply line off of the toilet. He said that the old one was too short. He could have called me and told me to pick one up, before he expected to get paid his money. Luckily, for me everything worked when I got the water turned on. He did not cut the screws off or cover up the toilet at the floor. He sat down and waited for me one day stating that he did not know where the supplies were for the job. The supplies were sitting right on the cabinet next to the toilet. He did not prep for the job he needed to do while supposedly waiting for me. He found my box of screws and nails that was in the kitchen and helped himself to it! I had to finish the bathroom wall myself. He should have seen that the paneling was loose and glued and nailed the paneling up. He also, worked on a wall and closet door for me. The drywall refinishing came out well, but he never got the closet completed. Check his work in detail before he leaves. He will not come back!

This was a remodel project I contracted for my dad's house. I got
Kansas City Kitchen And Bath Remodelers Provider Name Locked
's name from a friend who had been pleased with his work on a bath remodel.
Kansas City Kitchen And Bath Remodelers Provider Name Locked
was prompt and professional. He did an excellent job of containing dust and debris. He cleaned up the site daily. Surround and shower door look great. I selected a 12" x 24" floor tile and I was impressed with the the finished product.
Kansas City Kitchen And Bath Remodelers Provider Name Locked
did a good job of tying together new construction with existing construction, and he is a good problem solver. For example, we did not have the wall tile removed on the bathroom walls, which created an issue with placement of a grab bar and placement of a towel rack.
Kansas City Kitchen And Bath Remodelers Provider Name Locked
was able to pivot the safety grab bar and shorten the towel rack to solve the problems. If I need additional help with a remodel,
Kansas City Kitchen And Bath Remodelers Provider Name Locked
will be the first person I call. The job was expensive, but worth the price.

They fixed a ceiling in our sun room, refinished our hardwood floors, removed carpet, and tiled our kitchen and bathroom. They painted trim and fixed a couple of cabinet doors. They refinished floors in our hallway closet that was not in our original bid and didn't charge us anymore. They stayed on scheduled and within budget. They were very professional and left our home clean when they left.

My experience with them was both good and bad. The workers that did the work were genuinely good. I had some issues and they did not get it done nearly as fast as they promised but it was not a typical job. It was not just relining the tub but it was a type of remodeling job. The product was good. I would advice the other members to really make sure about what they want before they sign in because changes would be very high. They were pricey. I would shop around a little bit more in the future.

came out to look at the work we wanted to do in both bathrooms, we talked, and he said he would send us an estimate. Four weeks have gone by and we still have not received any word or estimate. Called
Kansas City Kitchen And Bath Remodelers Provider Name Locked
once after two weeks had gone by, and he said he was waiting on plans or cost of something and would get the estimate to us as soon as possible. So far, no word. I don't think we will be using
Kansas City Kitchen And Bath Remodelers Provider Name Locked
for any work in the future.

This company is terrible! It is a one man operation that works out of his home. He doesn't even have any tools! He did a horrible job on the work, so much so that I've got to hire someone else to fix it. don't use this company! The government paid him on a grant to do the work, which I think is just terrible.

is still the greatest. He is hopefully going to be starting on replacing the windows in my basement, new doors & screen doors throughout house, also new woodwork. Then we will tackle the kitchen. Since I have problems making a final decision until such time as I'm totally confident that my choice is the right one, we have problems making things happen in a timely way. I am impressed at his patience, creativity, & honesty. (Colorful is his nice way of saying scatterbrained). You see,
Kansas City Kitchen And Bath Remodelers Provider Name Locked
is not only an excellent worker, he is caring of his customers & making them happy with the finished product. His employees are excellent & just as great as he is. The extra mile sometimes ends up the extra miles & miles. I need to conserve my dollars &
Kansas City Kitchen And Bath Remodelers Provider Name Locked
is great about working with me to get a good product & a job done well but still within a price range I feel comfortable with. I'm ready to get started with our upcoming projects & hope

I contacted
Kansas City Kitchen And Bath Remodelers Provider Name Locked
via Angie's List for an estimate on porch repair on a second home that my husband and I own. We wanted a new porch floor installed and the lower walls of the interior porch replaced.
Kansas City Kitchen And Bath Remodelers Provider Name Locked
, the owner of
Kansas City Kitchen And Bath Remodelers Provider Name Locked
immediately replied to my email. He came out a few days later and provided us with a written estimate for the new floor and interior walls.
Kansas City Kitchen And Bath Remodelers Provider Name Locked
and I communicated mainly via email and he was very good at keeping me updated as to when he could begin work on the project. He advised me that he was currently working on another outside project and due to several rainy days, work on that project would be delayed, thereby delaying the start of work on my project. This was perfectly understandable.
Kansas City Kitchen And Bath Remodelers Provider Name Locked
advised me that he could begin work on my porch on August 26th. He arrived promptly at 9:00AM and began work. As my husband and I are retired, we were both on the premises when the walls and floor were removed. Over the years, my husband has done many woodworking projects (including building a small cabin that he and a friend use when camping). I state this to show that my husband has a solid knowledge of and background in woodworking and construction and is able to judge the validity of the information he is being given and the quality of the work that is being performed .
When
Kansas City Kitchen And Bath Remodelers Provider Name Locked
removed the porch floor and the interior walls, it became apparent to all of us that the project would require much more than just having the floor and interior walls replaced. The house is approximately 60 years old and there was extensive damage to the wood that that the porch floor was resting on. All of that wood needed to be replaced in order to accomodate the Trex Transcend flooring that we wanted installed.
Kansas City Kitchen And Bath Remodelers Provider Name Locked
inspected the upper portion of the porch in the presence of my husband and myself and found additional damage to the wooden structure. At that point, it became a unanimous decision that the entire porch needed to be demolished and replaced. This, of course resulted in an increase in the cost of the project.
Kansas City Kitchen And Bath Remodelers Provider Name Locked
and his helper removed the entire porch and installed columns to prop up the roof. Per the city's building code requirements,
Kansas City Kitchen And Bath Remodelers Provider Name Locked
and his helpers dug four 36 inch footings. A building inspector came out to inspect the depth of the holes and approved that step of the project.
Kansas City Kitchen And Bath Remodelers Provider Name Locked
then filled the holes with concrete and left them to set up over the Labor Day week-end. He then returned on Tuesday, September 3rd and begain construction of the new porch.
Kansas City Kitchen And Bath Remodelers Provider Name Locked
used pressure treated wood for the deck frame and the vertical columns. My husband was highly impressed by the fact that although it was not necessary,
Kansas City Kitchen And Bath Remodelers Provider Name Locked
added stability to the porch by corner bracing the framing of the porch even though the supports are bolted to the concrete footings. He said that this shows that
Kansas City Kitchen And Bath Remodelers Provider Name Locked
's work is "top notch". Praise from him is praise indeed.
The city required a second building inspection once the outside framing was completed, Again,
Kansas City Kitchen And Bath Remodelers Provider Name Locked
's work received immediate approval.
Kansas City Kitchen And Bath Remodelers Provider Name Locked
and his helper then installed the interior and exterior siding and then screened in the porch. While his helper did the screening,
Kansas City Kitchen And Bath Remodelers Provider Name Locked
built steps from pressure treated wood and attached them to the house. He constructed and attached a railing for each side of the steps and per the city's code requirement, added a grippable handrail to the railing.
At this point, the third and final inspection was done. Again,
Kansas City Kitchen And Bath Remodelers Provider Name Locked
's work passed with flying colors.
Although per our contract,
Kansas City Kitchen And Bath Remodelers Provider Name Locked
's work was finished, he was kind enough to hang a screened porch door that we purchased for the entryway to the porch and also installed quarter-round on the interior of the porch floor which gives the project a finished look. He also tightened bolts on a wrought iron railing which were loose. These three additional services were not included in the estimate and we very much appreciated
Kansas City Kitchen And Bath Remodelers Provider Name Locked
doing these extras for us.
Kansas City Kitchen And Bath Remodelers Provider Name Locked
and his helpers arrived on time each day and cleaned up after their work on a daily basis. All of the demolition and construction was performed in temperatures of well over 90 degrees.
Kansas City Kitchen And Bath Remodelers Provider Name Locked
did not sub-contract any portion of this job. He is the owner of
Kansas City Kitchen And Bath Remodelers Provider Name Locked
and was on the job each day doing both the demolition and construction himself with limited assistance. He answered all of our questions with great patience.

My husband and I feel that
Kansas City Kitchen And Bath Remodelers Provider Name Locked
's work and craftsmanship is excellent. We believe that our money was well spent with him and that he truly earned what he was paid. We will definitely consider him for future home remodeling projects.E
