Everything went well! The window screens had never been cleaned and they are fabulous now. The windows sparkle. And the deep clean was great for getting into all the nooks and crannies that needed attention. They timed the deep cleaning well with the carpet cleaning. However, the carpet cleaner had to come back on another day as his vehicle was having some issues. But he came back two days later and finished the job. The carpets have never looked so good.

This is the first time I have used
and was worried about the language
, but she understands English, just does not speak it. I had no problem at all communicating with her about what needed to be done, etc. She arrived on time and worked the entire time she was here. Dusted all furniture, cleaned three bathrooms and three bedrooms, living room, dining room, kitchen and family room. She swept my screened in porch and garage. Ran the vacuum on the carpet and dust mop on hardwood floors. I was extremely pleased with her. She is pleasant and I felt no reason not to trust her at all. I have recommended her to a friend and plan to have her back here on a regular schedule if my regular cleaning lady is unable to return due to an illness.

The 2 hours deal is really 1-hour since there are two people. Of the two hour deal, it's really 1/2 hour for $40 as it takes around 20-30 minutes just to say hello and explain things and we like done. We spent another $80 for two more hours ( more like 1.75 hours ).

This service is between a C and a D but in all fairness, this service was not average so I can't say C and why I picked D for overall. Not a bad service but not good nor average either. They were very conscientious to ask about items to toss or keep. They did not come in and begin to throw things out. They bagged or placed in containers, all items that the homeowner needed to go through for final a decision. The homeowner was not judged for the unkept home. They looked at it as a new beginning in life.

I have used the service a number of times. Some of the housekeepers are better than others, so I have had good experiences to very poor experiences with various ones. One of the selling points that

uses, however, is that you can select your maid and indicate that you want that specific person sent, no substitute. This is a great concept, as they get to know your home, which makes it easier on them; plus, the homeowner gets familiar with the housekeeper and knows who is in her home. There were times when I had a good experience and wanted the same person to return the next time and I indicated so, yet a different person would show up anyway. Before booking my last cleaning, I called the phone number that is listed on their Web site so I could discuss this with them. I was unable to speak to anyone, so I left a message. To this day no one has ever returned my call. The Web site states that payment will be charged to your credit card the evening that the service was performed. At least twice, the payment was charged prior to the day of the cleaning. This wasn't a terrible inconvenience, but it is not they way they explain they will do it. For my last appointment, they charged me twice for the same cleaning, both on the same day -- the day prior to the appointment date. This is when the real trouble began. I called the only number listed on their Web page many, many times. I left messages many, many times. I used the option to speak to the area manager and left several messages. No one returned my call. I used the option to speak to billing and left several messages. No one returned my call. I used the option to speak to someone about making an appointment and left several messages. No one returned my call. I then sent an e-mail, which I did get a reply to. I asked that they credit back the duplicate charge and send me verification that it had been accomplished. Upon more prodding, they did send me another e-mail that had their transaction ID and an approval code and the amount. This was their internal information, though, and what I wanted was verification that my credit card company had received the information to credit my account. I continued to check my credit card online, and indeed it had not gone through. I contacted

via e-mail again stating that it still had not appeared as a credit with my credit card, and their response was, "It has been processed. It takes a few days." They never responded via e-mail again. I called my credit card company and they told me that there would be no delay in posting once a transaction was submitted to them, so if it wasn't showing up yet, it had not taken place yet. I then went to the Web site and began a chat session. Among many things, I was told that "there is no current address for Dallas, TX." "Dallas is in the process of being ran out of the Houston regional office." I was then given a phone number to call (the same number that I had called at least a dozen times and never once spoke to a person nor received a call back). I was told, "The company is closing all call centers to keep prices low. Our one here in NY has been closed for a year. It's email and chat here in NY." I wrote, "There must be some person in the company who can be contacted about problems. Please give me a means to contact that person directly." Their response was, "We do not have one." I also asked, "If there is no way to talk to a person, why did you give me a phone number and why is there a phone number (the same one) on the Web site?" I actually asked that question two different times, but no answer was offered. Bottom line: Most of the housekeepers did a decent job. One in particular did a very good job. A few were not good. I could hardly tell they had been there. My biggest problem is the management could not possibly be any worse! A company that is run so poorly is bound to give you a reason to need to speak to them at some point. So before you think about using them, please, just try calling them and see if you can ever speak to a person. Leave them a message and see if you ever get a call back. For myself, never again -- and good riddance.



P.S. - Yes, the credit did show up with my credit card company today. (I waited to write this review until it was done.)

She explained how they work, during the day a 2 person team, while the house is empty, and that to achieve what I wanted- a good deep clean and get rid of dust/dog hair, it might take several passes to get everything. Dog hair and dust tends to get stirred up and then some settles back down. They use a vacuum, broom, mop provided by the resident. And bring their own cleaning product.
My priorities were to a sparkling clean bathroom, vacuum/mop floors in all rooms, a few dirty spots on walls (compliments of my labs and their tails), dust living room and bedrooms really well, including ceiling fans, electronics, lamps in each room, window blinds, closet doors that are the blinds style. The provider advertises both on Angie's list and it's website that pricing is based on square footage and the service plan selected: "Since all of our clients care most about quality of work, we formulated a pricing plan to charge not by the hour (project based), but by the size (in square feet) of your home." However, this advertisement is false. I gave the provider my square footage and number of bathrooms and bedrooms of my home but the provider refused to give me a quote for any of their service plans. The provider demanded my address and detailed information about my living arrangements before even providing a quote. No other company asks for such details before providing an estimate, especially no company that prides itself on the fact that they price based solely on square footage and service plan selected. I would have been happy if they even could just provide a estimated cost range, but they did not. I have already called two other providers and received quotes. Will use one of them instead.
