"Other technicians did most of the testing. I told him that my vision seemed to be somewhat worse. He said my vision has changed very little & my beginning cataracts are not" yet ready for surgery. Still I know I don't see as well. I'm wondering if the Medicare payment scale has anything to do with it. I later received multiple bills for multiple tests that were performed. I would think they could have been combined into just one.

"I don't enjoy changing doctors, but it was necessary. A few extended family members had also changed to
O'
and were pleased." I decided I'd had enough of taking off glasses to read, so it was time to buckle down and get bifocals or progressives. She advised me to wear strictly the new glasses for a time period, to make the adjustment. That seemed to work well, though it was challenging at first. It was a big deal to me to make this change, and I was pleased with the result.

"The surgery went very well for both eyes. The left eye took about a week for real improvement to be noticed but the right only took a couple of days. My wife sees colors way better" than she did before and is well satisfied with the clarity of her vision in both eyes. She is disappointed that she still has to wear glasses nearly as strong as she wore before the surgery because she expected to be able to see distance fine and only need glasses for reading but still the improvement was enough that she is happy with the results. Dr.
was very professional, explained things where they could be understood and had a great bedside manner. We have no problem recommending Dr.
to others.

Absolutely you have rights to your own medical records. You may have to put it in writing and go through the offices records department. Call and ask to speak with the records department and ask their protocol.

Everything went fine. The exam was professional, the eye doc was friendly and the staff helped me pick out an excellent pair of frames. When I moved out of Lakewood a little further west I continued to use this practice at the Westlake location.

I began seeing Dr. Liebmann once I was referred to the practice from my eye doctor. Dr. Liebmann gave me a no-nonsense state of my disease and my options. Some might find it to direct, but I found it comforting to know all my options were laid in front of me. I choose to see Dr.
Orleans Ophthalmologists Provider Name Locked
to explore less invasive Canaloplasy surgery. Only a few months following my first visit, I was slated for my first surgery. This surgery was FDA approved, but experimental to insurance companies at the time. GAONY worked with me to make the surgery affordable as insurance would not cover it. The surgery went well, post-op was very professional and recovery was great. I followed up 2 years after that with the same surgery on my other eye and had a few post-op complications that were handled swiftly and properly. The office can feel like a factory of

patients coming through a revolving door, but they know their stuff and can handle the chaos. Even if you feel like you're part of a circus, trust that the doctors know what they are doing!Overall - they saved my vision, what more can i say?!Quality - Excellent in diagnosis, consultation, surgery, post-op care; they know their stuff!!Price - Average ... they take many insurances.Punctuality - Be prepared to wait. I would say an average visit will take 1.5 hours; consisting of 15 minutes (

When I went to see him for a second opinion he was very professional but was obviously disturbed by what he discovered, but felt he could help me. He was thorough, explained everything, did all the necessary tests to confirm his findings, and took time to answer my questions After seven months of being left legally blind in my eye, 20/400 double vision, he was able to correct my vision so far to 20/40! It will even improve more as it hasn't been a month yet, and PRK procedures take longer to heal. All office visits, tests, some medications were covered by insurance. Unfortunately, PRK is considered a "cosmetic" procedure like

, and therefore was not covered. Hence the price. His staff is wonderful too. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend him. I will be using him in the future for cataract surgery in my other eye.
