S &R has done multiple projects for me, from an addition to my
garage, drywall, flooring, decking, and most recently wood trim and
replacement of interior doors. I call
for everything because they
are extremely professional, punctual, and reliable. Their prices are
very fair and if there is a problem they will address it immediately. I
have recommended S&R to several friends and they have all been very
pleased with the work. People who see my garage addition remark on how well constructed it is.
They will tell you if they can't do a job and recommend someone in the area who will do it right.
When I am traveling
even checks my house if there in hostile weather, without my asking or paying. He takes ownership of his work and cares for his customers.

First off we used Angie's List to get 6 bids.
Noblesville Remodeling Contractors Provider Name Locked
was the lowest by far, he was one of the most knowledgeable about the addition, and he was available shortly after the quote date. The highest bid came in over 35, 000 and his was the lowest around 13500. Most other quote were around 20,000 - 25,000. I had him do a few extra things once the work got started and he was VERY fair with his prices.
Noblesville Remodeling Contractors Provider Name Locked
started the job about 1 week after the quote date and we agreed it was about 30-45 day process, but
Noblesville Remodeling Contractors Provider Name Locked
was going to do what ever he could to get it done before the holidays.
The first week the flooring and framers came in. They got the floor installed and the framing done. The next week they worked on installation of the windows and finished framing the upstairs.
Noblesville Remodeling Contractors Provider Name Locked
also got the electrical installed on week 2. Week 3-4 was dry walling and painting but he had to wait on me to paint the room and trimming. The project would have only take 21 -25 days i think
Noblesville Remodeling Contractors Provider Name Locked
if it was not for me and wife having to paint. In the end it took around 30 days give or take a few days.
Positives:
Workers cleaned their mess up everyday inside and out.
Noblesville Remodeling Contractors Provider Name Locked
framers were always on time and worked throughout the day.
The framers were very friendly and respectful.
Drywall team were also very friendly.
Noblesville Remodeling Contractors Provider Name Locked
's cleaners were also SUPER nice. One of the cleaners let me use his paint towel to cover up our floors.
Noblesville Remodeling Contractors Provider Name Locked
had our house professionally cleaned on the last day. (They even did out dishes)
Noblesville Remodeling Contractors Provider Name Locked
never tried to up-sell, change, or force us to do anything that we did not want too.
He always stuck with budget and if it was a little over he took care of it.
I was happy because on the last day i got a credit. = )
Noblesville Remodeling Contractors Provider Name Locked
always answered his phone or returned our calls promptly.
Noblesville Remodeling Contractors Provider Name Locked
is very organized.
Another positive i liked was that i got to met his framers and electricians ahead of time before they did the work.
I am VERY happy about his work and i would recommend him to everyone.

With the exception of the granite work for the master bath, Refine used a subcontractor,
Noblesville Remodeling Contractors Provider Name Locked
Residential. I am completely satisfied with
Noblesville Remodeling Contractors Provider Name Locked
. If this review were about
Noblesville Remodeling Contractors Provider Name Locked
and his employees and subs, I would give all "A"s. I purchased nearly 100% of the fixtures, flooring, kitchen granite, appliances and such through Direct Buy or from local retailers. So the cost above is primarily labor and basic construction materials.
Almost all of the new lighting is
Noblesville Remodeling Contractors Provider Name Locked
-based. Lots of it. I bought a lot on the internet because a full selection of such products isn't available locally. BTW, I strongly recommend using 2700K LEDs. Even 3000K is a bit cool. They all dim very well.
Refine's design services were very good, but communications and interaction with their sales person left a lot to be desired. Frankly, my middle of the road grading is a result of this problem. The owner of the business and I talked. He acknowledged the problems and is taking steps to resolve them. I also told him what rating I would give him. He seemed to accept my criticisms as fair and I have confidence he is committed to making my experience something of the past.

and

and crew were very professional and excellent carpenters. They were on time, courteous, and kept a clean work area.
Noblesville Remodeling Contractors Provider Name Locked
was great in explaining the process and giving suggestions for those little things that you don't think about when planning a big remodel job but really add a lot in making the area useful. We had been wanting to do this for a long time and are glad we did. We love the result!

We heard back from Mr.
Noblesville Remodeling Contractors Provider Name Locked
in an appropriate time frame and we scheduled a time for him to come out which he arrived on time.
We went over our ideas for the basement and he took some measurements, then left.
It has been three weeks and we still have no plans!!! I called him last Monday, October 7 and he said he would send us the plans by Wed. or last Friday for sure, still nothing!!

His work was , as usual, excellent.
Noblesville Remodeling Contractors Provider Name Locked
was here when he said he would be and did what he said he would do. This was the third summer we have had
Noblesville Remodeling Contractors Provider Name Locked
do work for us. We are ready now for estimates for this year.
Noblesville Remodeling Contractors Provider Name Locked
understands that we are on a fixed income and will not go in debt unless it is truely necessary. Therefore when he gives us an estimate, we may have to back off on some of the project. He understands. I hope he also knows that when the money arrives, we will call him back.

Overall, the work was terrible. I've had to grout about a half a dozen areas he missed. I've had to put a tile in a corner that was missing. The grout wasn't properly washed off the tile and now it's a permanent part of its "look". The spacing of some of the tiles is uneven. And lastly, there's a spot in the hall were the floor is loose because he didn't put enough screws into the cement board. He had all sorts of people doing the tile work that I'm pretty sure had never done it before. I think most were his unemployed family members. He had one exceptional worker. Had it not been for him, I'm pretty sure noone would have known what to do.
The original intent of having him over was the outside post that had rotten boards. After replacing the boards, he left the post with a gaping hole on the bottom.
My wife wants to call him back to fix the post. I've discouraged her from doing so because of his shoddy work and I'm pretty sure he wouldn't come anyway.

We hired this company because it had done previous work for us. We were pleased with the work of the person doing the majority of the work on building us a front porch the year before. We signed a contract with the owner with the specific instructions that the only reason we would use his company was if a certain partner/worker would do the work.
Noblesville Remodeling Contractors Provider Name Locked
assured us this would be done. About half-way through Phase 1, before the project could be completed he and our choice of worker had a falling out and our worker was fired.

Noblesville Remodeling Contractors Provider Name Locked
assured us he could do the job better. When he showed up for work he was usually slow in getting to work. While his "helper" worked, he was usually on the phone. He was extremely slow in returning our calls.
His masonry work had to be redone three times before it was acceptable. After he left the job we found out 3 of the bricks at the
tops of 3 panels of window trim were not even set in mortar. We allowed him to complete Phase 1 and then dismissed him. We should have done it sooner. We lost money on this job because we had to hire someone else to complete it.

We rehired the partner/worker that we had requested in the first place and the 2d phase was completed to our satisfaction.

A friend used
Noblesville Remodeling Contractors Provider Name Locked
for a major remodel in the Village of Zionsville. We were very impressed and called
Noblesville Remodeling Contractors Provider Name Locked
when we decided to add a porch and re-side our house.
Noblesville Remodeling Contractors Provider Name Locked
designed and built the beautiful new screen porch for our home (that we use almost daily).
Noblesville Remodeling Contractors Provider Name Locked
provided architectural drawings, spent time with us going through changes, and provided a complete project breakdown and timeline.
Noblesville Remodeling Contractors Provider Name Locked
's crew was very professional and did a tremendous job with the porch and siding. The project took about five weeks but was on time and went very smoothly. Would definitely recommend
Noblesville Remodeling Contractors Provider Name Locked
for any addition or remodel.
