Noblesville Flooring Installers Reviews

"With the exception of the granite work for the master bath, Refine used a subcontractor,
Noblesville Flooring Installers Provider Name Locked
Residential. I am completely satisfied with
Noblesville Flooring Installers Provider Name Locked
. If this review were about
Noblesville Flooring Installers Provider Name Locked
and his employees and subs, I would give all "A"s. I purchased nearly 100% of the fixtures, flooring, kitchen granite, appliances and such through Direct Buy or from local retailers. So the cost above is primarily labor and basic construction materials.
Almost all of the new lighting is
Noblesville Flooring Installers Provider Name Locked
-based. Lots of it. I bought a lot on the internet because a full selection of such products isn't available locally. BTW, I strongly recommend using 2700K LEDs. Even 3000K is a bit cool. They all dim very well.
Refine's design services were very good, but communications and interaction with their sales person left a lot to be desired. Frankly, my middle of the road grading is a result of this problem. The owner of the business and I talked. He acknowledged the problems and is taking steps to resolve them. I also told him what rating I would give him. He seemed to accept my criticisms as fair and I have confidence he is committed to making my experience something of the past.

Noblesville Flooring Installers Provider Name Locked

His experience with so many different types of flooring is helpful when trying to decide what works best. He also does an awesome job of measuring spaces and putting seams where they are practically invisible. I recommend

to anyone refinishing or adding hardwood floors."

"They installed the laminate flooring well, but they didn't return to do an additional room for free as promised."

"The experience with Chip and
Noblesville Flooring Installers Provider Name Locked
was wonderful from start to finish! I explained that we would not be in the home for more than 2-3 years, so he immediately gave me options to suit us. We have dogs and kids and they provided us with cost effective options to match our needs. We were even provided with one of their boards to match colors to our home. They did about 1000 sq ft for a little less than $3000 (including removal of old carpet, moving furniture, materials and labor). We also got to meet the

(the giant St

to anyone!

installed hardwood hickory floors in two rooms over a four day period; the finished result is outstanding. We made the job more complex by going with two wood sizes.
Noblesville Flooring Installers Provider Name Locked
spent almost a day checking the wood and pre-determining where pieces needed to go to get the best look. We purchased the wood from
Noblesville Flooring Installers Provider Name Locked
's and told them that we had arranged for our own installer [through reviews from Angie's List]; they in turn said that
Noblesville Flooring Installers Provider Name Locked
Bros. did almost one-third of their installations and that

"Tech came back out on 3/27/10. Did not re-install tile. Installed new transition pieces that he claimed salesperson should have ordered for job. Claimed that he could not order these pieced originally unless I complained about service and had him come back out to fix. (Something about making sure that techs are not allowed to ask for more product unless customer complains.) Said salesperson undermeasured job to lower price, so my complaints are only way to get resources he needed to complete job. (This had nothing to do with transition pieces?) Tech did not have enough materials to fix job and had to order more transition materials. Tech came back out on March 25th to install more transition pieces. I pointed out that laminate transitions he now used were not as wide as those previously installed, so they are not covering carpet. Tech re-stretched carpet under transitions, but as of
Noblesville Flooring Installers Provider Name Locked
, the carpet is already starting to pull away from transition. Tech also installed transition along tile, but installed crooked, by a quarter inch in entry way. Tech was to come back March 26th, but called in AM to reschedule for March 27th. Tech arrived again on March 27 to fix transition in entry way. He also restretched carpet. Carpet is not long enough to be covered by new (thinner) transition piece along laminate. I now need to get new carpet or install more laminate. Problems still unresolved: --Stains from grout in existing carpet --Tile cracked under toilet (Tech said would not fix as this is normal?) --Carpet pulling away from under transitions (now separated from transitions) --Glue visible on carpet This was not the quality service I expected from a company I thought was reputable and have known about my entire life. UPDATE (04/23/2010) The new sub replaced the cracked tile that the previous sub said he could not do. The sub also fixed my carpet issue by stretching the carpet along the laminate that was originally installed. He also fixed the grout that was cracking and make other areas look much better. He also replaced the ENTIRE ceramic job on the first floor and made the transitions look exactly how they should. (Professional) He did not mess with the transitions in the upstairs bathrooms, but I can live with those because the tile sits up higher than the carpet so it is okay. This time around, Empire really came through. Thanks to all that helped fix this issue. It just goes to show how important it is to have a sub that asks questions, listens, and has an attention to detail instead of being in a hurry like the first sub we worked with. Thanks Empire!

"Overall the work went very well. It was done in segments and coordinated with a high degree of professionalism. The installers took extreme pride in everything they did ... worked as it was their own home. The owner of this company is
Noblesville Flooring Installers Provider Name Locked
Workman. I can't say enough about the way
Noblesville Flooring Installers Provider Name Locked
handled this job. He's very straight forward, as honest and sincere as they come, fair with his estimates, is absolutely in the homeowner's corner at all times, communicates exceptionally well, very accessible, highly respected and appreciated by his installers, runs a first class ship in my book he's a model owner. They just don't come any better than
