Practice provides general practitioner (family) services. Their health care providers give the patient their full attention and communicate" well, in addition to providing patient health education during the visit. Dr.
is an excellent diagnostician, but does not hesitate to suggest that the patient seek help from a specialist when necessary. Based on my experience, I would recommend them to anyone seeking a general practitioner.

"This seems like very busy practice. The staff is friendly and efficient. I recently moved to
from N. California where I had health care through" an HMO so this is my first experience with a private practice in many years. The doctors at the HMO were busy but they took the time to chat with you and listen to your concerns. I felt the doctor at
seemed rushed and uncommunicative.

Dermatology reviews in Kokomo

The room was very open and a lot of windows and cold. The doctor was very

and dispassionate. Staff was disorganized and said that they couldn't schedule another appoint for 6 months from then because of system problems. Then 6 months later I get a bill for a missed an appointment that they scheduled without telling me.

I had a difficult time getting an appointment with Dr.
Kokomo Dermatologists Provider Name Locked
. Finally, I go see her and the office is in disarray... I waited 50 minutes before I finally decided to cancel my appointment and go elsewhere. The last straw? They took someone that arrived 30 minutes after me and started preparing their paper work, while I wait. I had already waited 50 minutes past my appointment time. They had doctors coming out into the lobby and asking for a show of hands who is seeing them... What does that tell you about an organization and the people that run it? If they are that disorganized, mis-managed.... then I don't think they can possibly provide the attention and care that my health condition requires.

is a CREEP! As a new patient I walked in and proceeded to the sign-in window. The woman sitting in front of the window looked at me several times and never even acknowledged that I was there. Finally said I have a 4:00 appointment and tried handing her my paper work I had filled out before coming in. She very angrily said I'll be with you when I can. After about a 20 minute wait a woman pops out and asks me to come back. She was semi-friendly so I felt a little better as she asked me several questions before leaving the exam room. About 15 minutes later a male assistant walks in and is very friendly and explains he'll ask some questions and he examined me briefly without disrobing even after I told him my melanoma was all over my body. As nice as he was the exam was rushed and very brief and he said the doctor would be in shortly. The doctor finally walks in right past me without even saying hello or intruding himself. This

guy takes the prize of any doctor I've ever experienced as the most rude and hostile and the worst bedside manner I've experienced in my 56 years. He never examined me, would not listen to any of my history or previous diagnosis and said he'll decide what my condition is. Talk about a god complex!!! Then he told me to come back for tests. As I approached the desk to pay my co-pay and set up another appointment, the same woman who was so obnoxious was even worse this time. I just told her I'll call back and walked out in a complete daze after what just happened.

was very arrogant with his answer to my question concerning my daughter. It was a very unpleasant experience. We had a similar experience with him 4 years ago. I was unaware this was the same doctor when this appointment was booked. I asked a question concerning the possibility of gluten causing my daughter's acne. His response, "Gluten is to blame for everything, No." this was in a very sarcastic

. I was a little shocked and stated I had read some articles and it had concerned me. His next response was, " Well, you don't have to do any treatment if you don't want to." I did tell him I felt he was being arrogant with his response and I was simply asking a question as a concerned parent. It appeared he did not like being questioned. He meets with you for 2 minutes tops and writes out a prescription. he does not want to hear anything you might have to say. I have now heard from the medical community this is his personality and not surprising. He is most likely a smart man and may know dermatology but he has very poor bedside manners.
- Jamie K.

Always had to wait AT LEAST a half hour even if you were 2nd appointment of the day. Saw him for 2 years and never resolved my issues. Went to a different dermatologist and it was resolved in 4 months.
- Bob B.

Again, I was pretty much satisfied since I wanted to establish a relationship with a dermatologist, and this was just a basic skin exam. However, it took a long time to get in to see her (several months), and I did feel she rushed the exam.

was good and answered all my questions patiently and clearly. I was excited about the treatment maybe actually working (Spironalactine (spelling?)) but after a few months I was still getting horrible breakouts. In
Kokomo Dermatologists Provider Name Locked
it was so bad - cystic and even if you don't touch it (which is hard cause it hurts), you end up with scabs on your face - I had to miss several annual special events. I was very upset and after trying everything over the weekend to halt it and heal, I called the office Monday to see if I could get in. I had had a crisis that day that prevented me from calling until 3:30 pm, but I explained the urgency of my request and that I had events to attend. The receptionist was

and rude and didn't really listen to what I needed, saying "do you have an appt?" At one point, I asked her to please stop interrupting me, and she hung up on me! I wrote a letter to the office manager and he called, by then I'd seen the doc and we upped my prescrip and it seemed ok. Well, a few days ago same problem. I called in the morning, nurse's voice mail had a long message saying calls would be returned within FORTY EIGHT HOURS. Wow that alone really put me off - but the nurse called back by afternoon - she said she would email the doc (? ok) and let me know the response. The next day (my face was in full blown awful mode) I missed the call but nurse said they called in a topical to a pharmacy I don't normally use because insurance wouldn't cover it. She said they would ship it to me. ?? ok... No package arrived by 6 days later so I called the pharmacy myself. My main problem with them is that they don't seem to care if you are having a problem that warrants immediate attention. I mean, how many skin emergencies do people ever have? I wish they would accommodate such. I have decided to look around for another doc.
