Electrical Reviews in Jeffersonville

It was great. My house is almost 40 years old and I had been concerned that I might have some electrical issues. He arrived on time and completed the inspection. I had some items that need to be corrected, but not that bad. I believe that I received an honest assesment of my electrical system (nothing missed and no gouging). He also answered a couple of questions that I had and agreed to write an estimate to make the corrections and add a couple of additional items that I would like to have completed.
In addition to the electrical work, I had used
to fix an HVAC problem that occurred earlier in the year. He asked if it was still working well and wanted to make sure that I did not have any issues with the HVAC system.

I called
hoping to have someone come out within a week. I needed a ceiling fan and lighted medicine cabinet installed in the master bedroom as well as a new outlet for a wall mounted TV. They were able to come out the next day and I was thrilled. He showed up on time and ready to work. I had an idea of what the installation should cost. He gave me an estimate before starting. The final bill was exactly what he thought and what I had calculated.
The electrician was pleasant, focused and friendly. we've used their services previously and were just as happy. I will definitely use them again!

Electrical reviews in Jeffersonville

They worked efficiently & we were pleased with the outcome. I thought the price was a little excessive for reattaching electric wires on to the house since it took them 45 minutes.

He's responded on every electrical problem I have had. The service has passed inspection and the counties electrical code. He had to rewire anything that used electricity because my house was deemed unsafe. I don't think that he charged me as much as he should have.

I contacted

via Angie's list by email. He called that same day (Sunday) and we scheduled an estimate for Monday. The pricing was more than we wanted to pay, so we agreed to do pay half now and reschedule the other half to be done at a later time. He started immediately. No project has ever gone smoothly at my house with all of its little quirks.

got more than he bargained for. The bathroom light was his first obstacle. It was a bear for him. We had to make a trip to Lowe's to get supplies when he found the exterior vent to be non-existent. Installing this light took two days to complete.
The second day was installing the vent, outlets, and some exterior lights. More was done the second day. He ran into more trouble with the ceiling fan as the contractors who built the patio didn't allow access. He had tear part of our ceiling out to access roof and run a line across the porch. He did not expect this extra labor and this was completed on the third day. He installed the kitchen light but the motion sensor did not work. This was discouraging since the fact that the original light was broken was the whole reason we called an electrician in the first place. He considered the job done and thought we'd just need to buy a new light (the dials on the new light seemed to be broken). It was assumed that it was an easy fix for us to do. The wires for the light were behind the wall with a small access hole in the wall that you had to crawl through (told you our house was quirky). My husband, in trying to fix the same light, had to crawl back there and worked for 1.5 hours and finally got the light's sensor to work. However, he said it was a rat's nest of wires back there and that

would have to rewire with a junction box. Obviously, additional charges would have to be paid He came out again and charged us $235 to fix this.
The only things we wish could be different is: 1. The agreement to do half now and then half later was not feasible. The $600 worth of work and labor only fixed a few things partially. It was impossible to delay finishing the work for another day as it was half done. We had to go ahead and get it all done and pay for it all at once. 2. The motion sensor in the kitchen was technically not correct at first completion. And then we had to call him again to try and fix it and the wires. This price ($235) seemed a little excessive but I do understand it was more of a troubleshooting problem and that it was in an extremely difficult spot to get to.
The great things about
Jeffersonville Electricians Provider Name Locked
: He was willing to work right away and was very conscientous cleaning up after his work every day. He also got into more than what he expected on several projects. The projects (exhaust fan and ceiling fan) were more extensive and labor intensive than what he was expecting. Regardless of the hardship, he stood firm at his quote. He did not charge us extra even though others would have. That was wonderful because I know the bill would have been much higher if he had known what he was getting into. He doesn't cut corners and we know the things he fixed were done correctly. We would definitely hire him again (but he may not want to take the job!). :-)

We contacted the contractor (Nick) via email and Nick responded and came out that same day. He started work on the week that we requested (three weeks from quote date) and completed the work in the amount of time he said that he would (less than two weeks). Nick called the day before work was scheduled to start to make sure everything was in order. At the end of each day he let us know his plans for the next day including if he would arrive early or late or if he would not be out on a certain date.
The contractor did an excellent job and the work turned out better than expected. We were not changing the layout of the bathroom so the space was very small but he made it look great. He did not deviate from the quote he gave us originally except for extra purchases we requested after the quote was given. I would not hesitate to have him do more work for us or to recommend him to others.

The experience didn't go too good. We had some granite counter tops installed and we had to get a faucet changed out like the handles and woodwork on that. I called them and they said it would probably be two hours of labor at like $90 an hour. It ended up that I had to pay them about $500. They charged me a lot more than they said they were going to on the phone. They told me it would be about a two hour job and it turned out to be about a five hour job. Everything else seemed to be okay. They were here on time.

Total time for the entire job took one and a half hours which I found very acceptable considering the first 20 minutes or so was need to diagnose the problem. Mr.

is very easy to work with: a calm, low key personality; very knowledgeable and systematic in his manner. I get the impression that he's about seen it all, so even the most puzzling or challenging situations, don't appear to trouble him.
Ten years ago I used his services as a sub-contractor on a large basement remodeling job. About a year ago, he repaired a portion of a circuit that suddenly went dead. In every case, he's doing the work himself - sometimes supplemented with a helper.
He is extremely reliable and very trustworthy.

After another company didn't show I was in a bind to get a breaker replaced in a rental property, I called
