Business Description: Artistic Buzz was founded in 2007 by Elizabeth Murphy, an artist and veterinarian who creates custom, hand-painted portraits of pets, people and places using pixels instead of paint. One or more photographs are submitted, along with information about the subject's personality and individual characteristics, pastimes, hobbies or toys, so that both character and individuality may be instilled into the portrait making it truly unique. A personalized, digital painting is made to the client's exact specifications with ongoing communication via email during the creation process. The portrait is then printed on a choice of fine art paper or canvas in a variety of sizes. Portraits can be created using vintage photos, professional photographs, wedding photographs or snapshots. Because the image is digital, it can be reproduced for the whole family and it can be printed on almost anything - keepsake boxes, mugs, tote bags, blankets - making future gift-giving easy! Prices are as follows: Portrait Fee - one subjects: $175; two or more subjects: $225 Printing fee varies by size and type of surface used.
