Greenwood Ophthalmologists Reviews

A
"He is very thorough and very precise. He is much more compassionate than he was in his earlier years. Earlier he was more into business but after the death of his son he has become very compassionate. He is very knowledgeable. When he has emergencies we wait but still I think he is available. His communication is excellent. He is very professional. He has a lot of patients and so he doesn’t have the time to chit chat but what I need he gives me."
B
"The only problem I had with them was the wait. It is unbelievable. They put you in a room and forget about you. One time I sat in a room for an hour. I came out of the room and said, "hello" and they said they had forgotten about me. Every time I go I end up sitting in a room waiting to see the doctor. I complained about it the last two times I was there. I finally just told them that my time was valuable too. I would recommend them because I believe they are a good facility but the wait is just horrible. They get an F for punctuality. The bedside manner and office environment were excellent. I would use this practice again."
B
"They do a good job with your eye care. The staff can be a tad abrasive with you. I have special issues with my eyes. Obviously I trust them to do a good job because I have been using them for so long."
A
"They are absolutely wonderful. I love them. Everything is perfect. They were able to correct the misdiagnosis which was done. Their availability is good. They have a doctor all the time. They

’t over schedule themselves. The staff is really nice, friendly, and professional. They are very patient. I referred my father there. My father doesn’t hear very well. They took time to explain him things and what his situation was. They made sure that he understood before he left the office. They are very kind. I recommend them to everyone whoever is looking for an ophthalmologist. They cover the insurance. I would use them in the future. "

"I was very apprehensive about having the surgery, but was obviously in need of it. The staff was caring and professional in making me feel comfortable and secure. The surgery itself and easy recovery was a delightful relief. After having the first eye done, my return trip was no problem. Dr. Behfarouz did a wonderful job and the results are great. In addition to not having cataracts, I also enjoy 20/20 vision. The procedures were virtually painless and recovery was easy. Dr. Behfarouz has treated me for glaucoma, in addition to the cataracts, for about five years, and is a highly skilled, talented and caring physician. I would recommend him to anyone. The staff and facilities at both the Greenwood and Carmel offices of

"We have been with him before and had to leave because he was no longer in the network. He is excellent and we would highly recommend him to others. He takes time with the patients, answers their questions and is approachable. If you have a question he does not make you feel silly or anything. He is very professional and just has a very caring attitude towards his patients. He is busy, so you have to call within a reasonable amount of time for an appointment. We had the opportunity to go back to him again. "

"In the middle of routine eye treatment he left eye area where he was qualified to treat and performed absolutely uncalled for surgery on another part of patient's body, causing sever pain for years. He further emotionally blew up a month after the butchering and physically pushed the patient out of exam room and toward lobby and front door, swearing and contending he had nothing to do with the medical screwup. As a medical profesional he is not well trained, is not even tempered and expressed a mean violent outlook. At this point I believe he became worried that his unprofessional treatment might be reported. I would not go to his Greenwood Eye Clinic for any medical treatment of any kind, or under any circumstances."

"I have been going to Dr.

for about fifteen years now. I think Dr.

is good, and he knows what he is doing. The organization is very big and it takes a while to get through the whole eye exam process. There have been some mistakes made by the organization, and I had to go back to get them corrected. I was there once for an eye exam, and I never received a prescription. I called to get a prescription sent to me. They sent me the wrong prescription, which cost me money because I had to pay to have the prescription changed. Dr.

is a fine doctor, but the organization as a whole has made too many mistakes. I will not go back there again.
