did a good job on the carpet cleaning, however I requested an invoice to provide for my landlord, which was needed by the 16th of January, and never received a copy. I am also concerned that I have not received confirmation of the $70 credit/voucher agreement made on January, 12th 2014 between myself and
, to refund my accidental overpayment of $70.00. I would now like to be refunded with check or cash the overpayment of $70.00. I was advised to send a letter of notification and request to solve this issue between the interested parties. Here is the story which recounts all events to the best of my memory and sworn to honesty. Details: I bought a Groupon for a $69.00 carpet cleaning on November 5th, 2013. I called to make an appointment on December 31st, 2013 at 3:03 pm, left a message for

’s wife) called me back; I told her I had a Groupon and we scheduled an appointment for 1/11/2014 at about 3:30-4 estimated arrival time. Nearer to the appointment schedule,
called at 4:54 pm on
. 9th, 2014 to ask that we schedule the time a little later because they were really booked up and running late due to the severe snow storm that occurred earlier in the week. I understand that things occur and have to be “worked around” so I agreed to a later carpet cleaning. I asked that

’s arrival – she estimated sometime after 4 pm. I left home with a checkbook** and arrived at the apartment at about 3:45 pm. I heard nothing for a while, and called at 4:53 pm on 1/11/2014.

came in and introduced himself, asked to see the Groupon and started to work. He worked efficiently and was very polite to answer any questions I had. The carpet cleaning went well; he mentioned he accepted tips if I liked the carpet cleaning job. I wrote a check out ready for his departure**. We chatted about college and pro football then he was getting ready to finish up and go. I asked him if he preferred a check or cash. At this point I pause for further explanation. Here is where my stupidity starts and red flag goes up: i.e. who tips with a check? I failed to recognize and remember that the Groupon was not a “coupon” and was fully paid voucher, when I filled out the check earlier (**) it was for $69.00 and I was going to tip him $30.00, a decent tip for an hour and half job. Once again he mentioned that he preferred cash and I remembered I had some cash on hand larger than $30.00 (received from returning non-used blow-in insulation from earlier in the day), so I ripped up the check (attached) and gave him a hundred dollar bill (in my stupid mind to cover the cost of the carpet cleaning and the tip). He seemed really gracious, I didn’t realize that it was in regards to a hundred dollar ‘tip’; I thought a $30.00 tip was sufficient to receive such a thanks so I paid it no further attention. He walked out as I remembered that I needed to get an invoice for my landlord; I ran out and caught him pulling out of the driveway, he said he would email me an invoice copy of the actions performed. I left to go home shortly thereafter. It was not until at the breakfast table, the next morning of 1/12/2014 when my wife and I were discussing the carpet cleaning that it dawned on me what I had done: I accidently gave a tip of $100 instead of $30, a difference of $70. I called
’s phone immediately after recognition of my mistake in hopes that I could hopefully plead my case; I called at 8:50 am on 1/12/2014 and left a message to explain the stupidity on my part and apologizing for the awkwardness of my confession and request. I expressed that I did mean to give him a tip, just not to that extent, and I would appreciate if he could understand the mistake and refund me the amount I stupidly “re-paid” for the already-paid-for carpet cleaning service. I then tried
at 8:52 am. She answered the phone, and for 7 minutes and 2 seconds we had a conversation about the accidental misunderstanding. I went through the entire explanation, starting with the fact that I was sorry for the request, fully understanding that I made a stupid mistake and acknowledged my embarrassed of the situation; but, at the end of the day $70.00 is $70.00 and I did not mean to ‘tip’ an entire $100 dollar bill. After an explanation of money issues and the recent holidays,
, although seemingly reluctant, AGREED to ‘cut’ me check that would be post dated and I would be able to cash later in the week of January 12th-18th. I confirmed this statement and agreed to the terms.
then asked the question, “how many times I get the carpets cleaned at my new house, 1 or 2 times a year”. I mentioned “zero” in the past (rental apartment) and maybe once a year for the new house. She then recommended that we agree to a $70.00 voucher for a carpet cleaning in our new home to make up for the mistaken tip; in fact, she offered to credit the voucher for $80.00 since it was a “credit” and not actually would be an exchange of any currency. I mentioned that that was not necessary; I meant to tip
$30.00 so I was only concerned in the overspent $70.00. I agreed that the voucher may be the best result from the discussion, that I was super pleased from the carpet cleaning performance and would definitely do business with the company again and spread the good word. I told
I would text her my address, however she insisted that I just text her my email address and she would send me an electronic voucher/line of credit/$70.00 agreement later in the day. I texted
my email address at about 10:30 am; I received no email on Sunday or Monday. I sent an email to the company site on Monday January 13th to further express my gratitude that we were able to agree that although I made a stupid mistake, it was a mistake non-the-less and as a professional company who puts clients first I was looking forward to hearing from them. I tried to call both individuals on 1/14/2014, company phone at 12:19 pm,

again at 12:33 and left a message stating that I would like to get a copy of the invoice from the carpet cleaning and discuss the ‘over payment’. This was written at approximately 2:00pm on 1/14/2014 after hearing nothing. I base my request on an AGREED upon understanding after the fact of the mistake I fully take responsibility for. I would be approaching this in a different manner than I am if I was completely denied compensation. This is money that I earned, and
, you earned the tip I meant to give you, $30.00 and the Groupon payment I already purchased. I base this understanding as well on your company claims and what I read about the company on Angie’s List. I would like to that the following statement is true: “We are a Christian business that works hard at pleasing our customers.” I get the distinct premonition that I am being avoided and ignored by a company that puts their customers first. At this point in time I think it best that we acknowledge I made a mistake, but the mistake is understandable and understood. Can we also agree that my mistake was an episode of stupidity and I also acknowledge my embarrassment at such an action. Can we also agree that I did call and try to rectify the situation, with confirmation of an agreed upon solution to the “issue” by

price was given, work was done efficiently and thoroughly. Rep was polite and courteous.

Overall, this was an A experience and they are definitely at the top of my list to call when I need my rugs cleaned. The only snafu was that the owner had us written down for a different day, but he still managed to work us in because he knew we were moving in the next day. I appreciated that very much!
The only other comment I have to help them earn an A+ with me (and maybe other customers) would be to include wiping down the baseboards (lots of hair stuck/dirt) and vacuuming (part of the process) the very edges/corners of rugs too. I'm 8.75 months pregnant, so it wasn't easy for me, but I did get down and clean around each baseboard of every room following the treatment. Additionally, I took the smaller suction tool on my vaccuum and went around the edges/corners of carpet. With this final attention to detail, it looked amazing! I've never been more pleased with a carpet service before.

Efficient in getting job done. We had the, clean the carpet in the bedroom and treat it with a freshener to improve the smell. We had a tenant with a dog that only lived there one year yet the carpet smelled of dog. After two cleanings the carpet still smelt bad so we had to have it replaced. It didn't look dirty but they couldn't get the smell out.

I've used this company once before and liked them so much, I called them out again. They are very flexible with scheduling and price. They are reliable, honest and very friendly. They are located on the north side of the city and I am located on the very south side (past Greenwood) but they were willing to drive out to serve me for such a small job. I REALLY appreciated this. Honestly, the only complaint I would have is the punctuality, and it's not much to complain about. Both times they've been out, they have been a little late, but I am willing to consider the fact that I am a good drive away and they always work even faster to make up for the time lost.
I would highly recommend them to my friends!

Really high quality but stained. I didn't know if it could be saved. He made arrangements to do the cleaning the next week. The difference in the carpet was amazing!
