Washington Home Inspectors Provider Name Locked
was great from the start and consistent through-out the entire process. He was very prompt and clear in all communications. He made it very easy to work with him by offering electronic signature via email on the up-front agreement and delivered the report via email after reviewing all the details with me in person.
Washington Home Inspectors Provider Name Locked
was prompt for the appointment. I was stuck in traffic so he worked directly with the association management and the Realtor to get started on the work before I arrived. He made it clear what he can and cannot do based upon this type of work. His report was easy to read and he made it very easy to understand what he was referring to by taking photos of him pointing to the item discussed.
I would recommend
Washington Home Inspectors Provider Name Locked
to anyone needing this type of service.

I have used
Washington Home Inspectors Provider Name Locked
twice in pre-purchase inspections and radon tests.
Washington Home Inspectors Provider Name Locked
saved me from the mistake of buying the first one with a thorough inspection of the property and detailed explanation of the (many) issues and potential costs. He also arranged for a pest inspection to be performed on the same day by a reputable pest control service. His inspection report was detailed and gave me a good idea as to whether the house was worth purchasing.
On the second sale agreement I did not hesitate in calling him back for another inspection. Just as the first inspection,
it was thorough complete with a detailed report and findings along with potential costs.
I would recommend
Washington Home Inspectors Provider Name Locked
to anyone in the Kalamazoo / Portage area looking for a home inspector.

Washington Home Inspectors Provider Name Locked
was available to inspect the house within 3 business days of me contacting him. He traveled approximately 50 minutes outside of Asheville to inspect the home I purchased. (There was a small distance surcharge.)
Washington Home Inspectors Provider Name Locked
documented a number of problems within the house that I had not seen and would not have been aware of. I presented the summary of his report to the Seller's agent. The seller agreed to fix the more significant problems.
Washington Home Inspectors Provider Name Locked
documented mold problems in the crawlspace, floor, and attic. He also noted a number of hazardous electrical and plumbing issues.
I had considered not having a home inspection performed because the home is an older one and I anticipated there would be some minor problems with it. Also, the seller had already disclosed a number of issues that I was willing to accept. If I had not had an inspection performed, I would have had to cover those items out of pocket after the sale. The inspection saved me thousands of dollars in immediate repair/maintenance costs. Two rules for purchasing in the Western NC area: 1. NEVER neglect the home inspection - even if nothing is found, the peace of mind is worth it. 2. Use
Washington Home Inspectors Provider Name Locked
at Meridian.

Washington Home Inspectors Provider Name Locked
did a
Washington Home Inspectors Provider Name Locked
for me on a 1000 sq. foot house in
Washington Home Inspectors Provider Name Locked
heights. He was so thorough and nice. Very patient with me took me all over the home and showed me everything that needed to be fixed and where everything was located that a home owner should know. He also saved me from buying a huge money pit when he told me about a foundation problem that I should look into in the crawl space, turned out after I got a estimate on it that would cost me 25,000 to fix. I would recommend this company to anyone that needs a
Washington Home Inspectors Provider Name Locked
especially first time home buyers it was such a huge relief after he caught a
Washington Home Inspectors Provider Name Locked
problem I would have never seen. Money well spent and I will definitely be using him again as I continue to look for a house!

We have had inspections done on homes in previous years and I can honestly say this was by far the best. He is a true professional and I felt confident that he was looking out for our best interest in purchasing this home. He thoroughly went threw the home and explained in detail what looked good and what the possible flaws were with the home. We were then sent a notebook going over all that was discussed during the inspection. I highly recommend

Went very well! He was able to fit me in for next day service! He arrived on time (and even a few minutes early), performed a very through full home inspection including the crawl space on a 1940s home. He was very professional and answered all the questions I had on the home. And had the report back to me by the end of the day! Would definitely use him again! Thanks Angie's List for a great referral!

The home inspection went very well. It took
Washington Home Inspectors Provider Name Locked
about 4 hours or so to completely inspect the home. We had no major issues but some cosmetic functional, and safety issues. It seems that his focus was on safety. The report was sent back to us the same day.
Washington Home Inspectors Provider Name Locked
verbally reviewed the photos he took and his conclusions based on the photos. Although we were aware of some issues,
Washington Home Inspectors Provider Name Locked
was able to uncover some we were unaware of. For example, all outside outlets are supposed to be GFCI protected. One of ours was not. Same thing for outlets on kitchen or bar counters. I had one at a bar that was not GFCI protected. There was also a plumbing code requiring copper discharge pipe from a water heater to open less than 6 inches from the ground. Ours was about a foot off the ground or so. Many of these things are building code items I was unaware of, and I'm glad
Washington Home Inspectors Provider Name Locked
was able to find them so we can correct them prior to our home going on the
Washington Home Inspectors Provider Name Locked
. He also looked at our drip irrigation system, but did not check the backflow valve saying that is not part of his inspection. Nevertheless, I believe the water company wants that done so as not to have a possible source of fresh water contamination. He did point out some leaks, however, which were fixed. He also did not check out the septic system, saying that I need a qualified septic inspector to do that. Obviously, this could be very important for a home sale and I was a bit disappointed about that. I suppose most home inspectors would not do this and I also assume that such an inspection would be more costly than the price for a standard home inspection. I did have a $30 off coupon from Angie, but it turns out he charged me $30 extra because my house is somewhat large (around 2900 sf. single floor. Anyway, I thought it was a very good inspection with a prompt and complete report.

Purchasing a home is stressful enough, and I believe the home and structural inspection are critical pieces before buying any home 10 years old or more. From scheduling to onsite work to follow-up, the team at
