"I didn't know the windows could get that clean! Within 30 minutes, I found Bubbles on Angie's List, linked to their website, submitted my request, got a call from one of their sales associates, received a quote and booked the service for the very next day. Within the timeframe provided by the sales associate, "Art" arrived on site and started working. It took him darn near 4 hours, but he completed everything including the gutters. All that was left of Art were four bags of trash and leaves, neatly lined up on the side of the garage. Well done Bubbles! Well done Angie's List!"

"We first contacted

to make two windows for the attic of our 1919 home. We had numerous opinions and expensive quotes on building these two new odd shaped windows. I found
River Forest Window Installers Provider Name Locked
on Angie's List and sent him (along with a few others) a detailed description of what needed to be done. He was quick to reply, set an appointment and presented us with an extremely good bid, $400. It took several weeks for

to begin the job because he already had committed to a job out of town. But, upon his return, as he promised, he came and took the old windows out and within 48 hours two new windows were in. They fit great and look great. We were so happy that we have since hired

to build a shelf in a closet, install bathroom hardware. One of the light fixtures was not the right size for the area. Once he realized it, he called me at work and discussed the issue with me. He takes pride in what he does and does an excellent job of keeping you informed of the progress.

"It went very well. I sent a to-do-list with misc tasks. It was agreed to bill by the hour and work on projects by my priorities. He was comfortable saying that he did not have skills to do one job but gave recommendations and insights about the project and skill set needed. He was meticulous and neat with his work and easy to have in your home."

"It was great. Went like clockwork, the workers were honest, polite, cleaned up after themselves and generally tried to be as undisruptive as possible. Not an easy thing to do when you're knocking off stone and concrete and nailing on new siding. The house looks so much better; we're really pleased."

and the crew that worked on our house are extremely courteous and prompt. There was a lot of prep work required and the crew did a fantastic job. They also cleaned up each day. I would definitely hire this company again (they also do interior painting) and would recommend them to others as well."

"We have a 90 year old house that has a very tiny second

and

bathroom between the 3rd and 4th bedrooms. It was never rehabbed from when it was built in 1922. The bathroom was very small and not set-up to be very user friendly, with peeling plaster, corroded pipes with little water pressure and old fixtures. Ed looked at the bathroom and redesigned it to take a little room from two adjacent closets, expand it just enough to make it completely usable with a good flow. He flipped much of the plumbing around to get us as much use of space as possible. His team of carpenters and plumbers were fantastic. They replumbed everything, replaced all the walls, tub/sink/toilet, and installed new cabinets and granite countertop. We had subway tile in there before, as was the popular choice for our home when it was built. We wanted to keep the "flavor" of the time with new subway tiles and glass tiles. Ed did a bunch of "shopping around" for us and designed a tile sequence that was amazing. He used green glass subway tiles and white ceramic subway tiles to come up with a beautiful design in the shower and around the sink. Beautiful! He also replaced the window in the bathroom and opted to put a film on it for privacy that can be removed should we ever want to. Overall, he turned a difficult, small, awkward space into a roomy, eye appealing, updated and most importantly, functional bathroom. I would highly recommend Ed for bathroom remodel and design work."

"Our 90 year old stucco and Spanish tile roof garage had sat unused for 40 plus years. The door barely opened, the entire left side of it was collapsing into the slab and the attic was full of critters. We had an issue with water pooling in the garage during rain storms which caused the slab to buckle in the middle and split. It was a mess. We approached Ed to redesign a brand new garage as we assumed such a mess could not be salvaged. Ed has many strengths, but one of his best is his ability to work with old houses and try to salvage as much existing material as possible. He immediately felt that the garage was salvageable and that we didn't need to demo it to the ground and start new. Right away he was saving us money! Ed brought his structural team over and then hatched a plan/design to rehab the old garage. The demoed the interior and set to work on the structure. They installed a large support beam over the top of the door frame, built the slab up and rebuilt the left side that had disintegrated. He slanted the slab and concrete away from the garage to try and solve for the water pooling problem. His roofing team fixed all the numerous holes in the roof and side of the garage and re-roofed the entire garage (which had never been done!). This team also rehabbed, sealed and adjusted all our original copper gutters to look almost new. After all the structural parts were complete, they finished the garage with new windows, a new side door, new overhead door, new attic storage space and drywall. We were really hoping for a wood garage door stained a dark brown. Given the harsh climate where we live, Ed came up with a better plan. He installed a standard garage door and hired a muralist to paint both the side door and overhead door to look like real wood. The result was amazing! Every single person that comes over compliments us on the beautiful wood door we have, they are shocked when we share the truth with them! In all, we have a beautiful garage that looks brand new, but in reality is over 90 years old! Plus, we were able to save time and money by not totally gutting the entire structure. Once again, Ed and his team did an amazing job from design to completion. We would recommend Ed for any large scale garage project or remodel!"
