Walker and
& Granite damaged our bathroom. We sued
Walker and
" & Granite, Inc. and we won a Judgement of $9900.00. They haven't paid us one penny to date. I have filed the judgement in numerous counties in Texas and I refuse to go away. I do not recommend this services!

"I woke up giddy with excitement this morning knowing I was going to be rolling out home made biscuits on my new countertops!
and his crew" made the process unbelievably easy.
came to my home where we discussed the options available, and he professionally made suggestions and such. After deciding what I wanted,
took care of everything. I even got to go to the granite company and choose the exact slab that I wanted. We scheduled the installation day, and I left for work in the morning and came home to a completely new countertop and backsplash with the only thing needing to be done was grouting the backsplash as the tile had to sit overnight. The tile installer came the next morning and finished up the job in no time. In literally 28 hours, my kitchen was transformed, and I LOVE it!! My friends who came over that evening were surprised at how quickly it was completed. There was an issue with an outlet not working, which I discovered the next day. I contacted
, and he had his electrician out the next day (on a Sunday, no less), and he had it working in 10 minutes, all the while apologizing for any problem it may have caused. I would recommend
to anyone and everyone. He and his crew are the best you'll find!

Artificial (quartz) is cheaper, more uniform, has fewer voids to collect dirt, and is almost as abrasion and chip resistant.

Granite is more expensive, stains and collects dirt a little easier as a rule, and is slighly more chip resistant as a rule.

For durability, I would not rate one over the other - barring a 250 lb guy hopping up on it and cracking it, either is likely to outlive you. Selection is typically based on appearance - quartz tends to be more uniform looking and does not always do a good job of simulating the veining and variations that natural stone has.

Now some of the man made stone counters rival the real granite and othe stones without the maintainence of stone. There are many of them out there and it is more a choice of looks than anything else. Corian is still a strong choice of tops today and one advantage is it can be repaired when scratched on site. If you don't mind the maintainence you can't beat the looks of real stone though unless you need a few pieces to make up the top as the graining may be hard to match up. I am impressed though at how realistic some of the man made products have become. It is more an issue of what brand are available in your area. Most all are made the same way with crushed stone and basically an epoxy binder used to make the sheets.

Countertop Installation reviews in Princeton

recently completed the installation of granite shower and counter top/sink and new toilets in both my
bathrooms. They did a beautiful job, always arrived on time worked steady all the time they were at my house. The workers were all very nice, friendly they knew their job and performed in a professional manner. They always kept me informed of what they were doing and answered any questions I had. They made sure to verify where I wanted the trim, shower stool and grab bars. They cleaned up every day and left it clean when the job was complete. I am very pleased with the results and I would not hesitate to use them again and also highly recommend them to others.
It was a good experience from beginning to end. From the initial meeting to the completion of the job several days earlier than originally planned for.

and his team of subcontractors were very professional and usually on time. I thought they did a good job. But I just had a problem with my wine cooler, which they had installed, less than 2 years ago. I tried calling owner(

to call me, I had a problem, he never called me back. I guess it was take the money and run. The only way to get wine cooler out was to cut up a good fairly new( 2 years old) wine cooler. I am very disappointed. I had to purchase a new wine cooler and have a contractor do it right, this time. making the flooring even before installation. Because due to the levelers in back we could not get out from under cabinets with out ruining the wine cooler. So in the long run, they cost me over $1,000 to fix what they could have doen when they did the job for less than $25.

Best ever, will recommend them to everyone looking for perfection, Friendly people, they have done granite counter tops to all my family and friends. Truly care about their customers, every business should be like them.

Stone Savers are good people to work with. They clearly outlined the process, from types of granite to general costs. They were spot on. There was some mis-communication as to installation and although there was a bit of a mishap in the installation process, they quickly made it right. The guys that did the installation weren't the most chatty of crews, but the knew what they were doing and installed the countertops quickly. I learned a few things from them.
Overall, Stone Savers are a safe bet for your granite needs.

It went well, except they did not finish. I ended up having to finish up the white trim painting, then all the finish paint. In doing so, I noticed that the prep work was not a good as I expected, leaving dents and texture on some of the walls. I needed this room done quickly, as I was starting a new job the following Monday, and of course all my furnishings, etc were removed. We did as much prep work as possible before the contractor showed up (ie. removing all contents except the bed and dresser, removing the light and electrical plates as well as the ceiling light, so that the painter could start right away. The painter moved fairly quickly, and worked with me to get the ceiling looking much better. I am happy with that. When I asked for another painter to finish the job the next day, I was told he had no one available. This was disappointing. We provided all the paint, which cost a little more then I expected. The owner was very cordial and tried to get another painter but couldn't. Another thing that was not expected was that I wanted the painter to provide two colors on the walls, and was told that they don't do that. I saw nothing in the advertising that indicated limitations and I expected they would send out the right supplies or equipment to do this work. I was told prior to them coming that they don't usually do that, and that the painter doesn't have a laser level to use to paint a level line around the room. It didn't matter, since they didn't get to any of that anyway. However, in the future, I suggest they spell out their limitations so that we may look at other contractors who may be able to handle a little creativity better. All in all, I am happy with their service, just a little disappointed that they didn't get done. It wasn't a large room.

Overall a very good experience. Removed old countertop etc. and installed new countertop and sink one day. Plumber came the following day to hook up the faucet and garbage disposal. Old sink was a double basin sink and chose a single basin sink for the new install. I didn't realize how large the 24 inch sink would be and would have chosen a smaller (perhaps 20 inch?) sink if were to do all over again. Modifications to the cabinet needed to be made to fit the sink in, and installer did not take the time to finish the modifications cleanly - i.e. the wood wall of the cabinet underneath was cut to fit the under mounted sink, and what remained was splintered and not finished. Although most will not see the inside of the cabinet, was still disappointed the attention to detail was not apparent. I ended up sanding and finishing the area the best I could. The disposal installed does not have the

wrench for when the blades stick but rather a "reset" button. I haven't had to use it yet so am unable to report if the "reset" button is as effective as the
