My husband and I selected
Princeton Countertop Installers Provider Name Locked
for a fairly significant kitchen renovation (for us) with wall removal and a complete remapping of the counters, windows and doors. We live in a modest 1970s split-level home, and we are both practical and budget conscious. We would never install something just because it was the latest new 'thing' that everyone was using. I found the initial
Princeton Countertop Installers Provider Name Locked
for contractors difficult and frustrating. Being a detailed person, and having little construction or kitchen knowledge, I could not get anyone to detail a proposal based on the high-level key criteria we were looking for. Nearly all of the contractors that we interviewed stated "we can do anything you want", and "that'll be $100k+" without an explanation of what was going into the figure or offering to narrow down the hundreds of options.
The outstanding difference that you will receive from
Princeton Countertop Installers Provider Name Locked
is the creative design developed directly from exactly what you want to achieve. I cannot state this strongly enough. I see a lot of previous reviews were concerned about $1500 retainer. In fact, my husband was also totally against this at first, even after Nick (designer) gave an initial 'rough' concept. We went agonized over possibly spending $1500 with nothing to show (especially after a previous horrible experience with another contractor on a bathroom counter project). We interviewed many other contractors. No one could provide a concept with the same level of thought. I was so totally frustrated with not being able to get any concepts from anyone else to show what they would do for the money. So, we took a
Princeton Countertop Installers Provider Name Locked
, and I am SO glad that we did!
I will tell you that you should not worry about not liking the design, or having spent the retainer and not getting EXACTLY what you want. Nick will work until he "gets it' and he works across all genres and tastes. We went through 3 major ideas. No one in the area will take this much time to design what you want, and the $1500 will go towards the renovation. It is worth every penny!
Princeton Countertop Installers Provider Name Locked
and Nick listened carefully to our needs from day one. They determined what our likes and dislikes were, balanced both of our quirks, and, after a few short visits, Nick had developed a unique design concept that went well beyond the traditional cookie-cutter kitchen. We had a few tweaks, but no worries - Nick worked until the design was perfect and exceeded our expectations. Not only did he provide the most creative design with an artistic flair, it fell within constraints and the budget that we discussed. This is truly
Princeton Countertop Installers Provider Name Locked
's unique talent - the transformation ideas into an outstanding design.
Princeton Countertop Installers Provider Name Locked
had one primary foreman (Rich) who completed much of the work at the house and who was present and available every day. All workers were reliable and prompt. If I had any request, they took care of it. They are all friendly, easy-going, and easy to deal with. And the craftsmanship was excellent - they really know what they are doing and obviously take great pride in their work. If something didn't go quite right, it was prompt corrected.
All-in-all,
Princeton Countertop Installers Provider Name Locked
offered the best value - We received an excellent, solid, functional kitchen with quality cabinetry, counters and flooring, which I know will last. We didn't have to "settle" for one thing.
Princeton Countertop Installers Provider Name Locked
met all commitments on time and on budget (unheard of in the construction business). We are absolutely thrilled with the result!

You cannot go wrong by selecting
Princeton Countertop Installers Provider Name Locked
. These folks are good, honest hard-working people who have a rare talent to listen well and a sense transform your intentions into marvelous concepts.

Some recommendations that I have (no reflection on
Princeton Countertop Installers Provider Name Locked
- this was our first time major renovation that we didn't DIY):
* Have everything written in the contract - a no-brainer. Have every light, switch, outlet, paint color, trim, floor, etc considered up front (there are on-line checklists) - even if it is temporarily "TBD" with an allotment. Think about where you want rugs, where you will plug in appliances, and how you will general function while in the space.
Princeton Countertop Installers Provider Name Locked
does a good job of keeping track of amendments to the contract, and he will change the contract to make sure it remains what you want, but having everything detailed up front will eliminate stressful surprises.
* Construction is very dusty. Rich warned me in advance. There is no way around it. Especially if you are taking out walls and moving things around as wee did. Be ready for it (although you won't be - sorry). If you have any places/things that you want to protect, take the extra steps to tarp and tape or ask to have it moved away from the area - the thin plastic drop cloths won't cut it.
I definitely would use
Princeton Countertop Installers Provider Name Locked
for future projects.

We like the granite we picked out, but when they installed it, they didn't match the cuts on the granite. Why would you mix square cuts with bullnosed (rounded) cuts? Where the pieces come together cut differently, it looks terrible. We were confused about why this was done, and tried to ask about the original bid, and why we didn't get what we discussed. They immediately became weird about it, and said that bill is secret, and without showing us any sort of breakdown on this, we need to just trust them that the pricing is correct. My direct questioning about how to resolve the mismatched cuts have been ignored and gone unanswered. For such a high priced item, we feel we should be dealt with in a more professional and straight forward manner, and that the cuts should match.

Very professional company. They are very customer-oriented and work very hard to make sure the customer is happy. Looks beautiful. Large selection of stone to choose from - we were looking for something very specific and found exactly what we wanted.

They were very responsive when we contacted them for bids. They gave us well defined options based upon grade of laminate. Greeted us immediately upon arrival at the show room. Clearly explained the differences between the types at the different price ranges with the advantages and disadvantages of each. We placed our order and were told it would take about 2 days to get the measurements done so the order could be finalize. We were called within a few hours and they made an appointment for the next business day. Their man showed up promptly, took the measurements and explained what to expect and when. Payment was made for the materials the following day. We were told to expect 3 weeks delivery time. It took less than that and the appointment was made for the next business day. The installer showed up exactly when he said he would and had the counters installed in less than an hour. Great job from beginning to end.

I got three bids for this small project to replace a powder room
Princeton Countertop Installers Provider Name Locked
countertop with granite. I was looking for a remnant to keep the cost low.
Princeton Countertop Installers Provider Name Locked
is located near my home so that was one consideration; the other was its reviews, which were good. The staff was very pleasant and helpful, and they have a lot of remnants to choose from. The pricing varies depending on the remnant, but the one I liked turned out to be very reasonable. The other two companies I visited didn't have anything I was very excited about, so it wasn't a difficult decision to go with PG. I like the way they broke the bid down so that you could see every component of the job--some companies just give a lump sum bid. I put a deposit down to hold the stone before I had seen all three vendors, but PG assured me that I could cancel the job for a full refund of the deposit up to 5 days prior to the installation date, and that was also in writing on the bid. The guy who came to measure was very careful, took the time to make sure that the sink and faucet I had purchased would fit in the space; he also suggested that the backsplash could be cut thinner to better accommodate the faucet design. The install crew arrived precisely on time, did the work quickly but carefully, and the new countertop fit perfectly. Based on the experience, I recommend this company highly.

,
Princeton Countertop Installers Provider Name Locked
and
Princeton Countertop Installers Provider Name Locked
were excellent. I contacted
Princeton Countertop Installers Provider Name Locked
on a Monday afternoon after the stone countertop I ordered online arrived at my house is 3 broken pieces. We were on a very short deadline trying to have the master bathroom done by the end of the week for renters to move in. I explained my situation to
Princeton Countertop Installers Provider Name Locked
and he was very accommodating. He met us at his shop at 8am the following morning to help us pick out a piece of stone. They came out that afternoon to make the template, and completed the install 3 days later. They were prompt, professional and very kind. The bathroom looks great. They also repaired a bad seam in my kitchen granite (that was installed years prior by a different company). Everything looks great, and we were able to complete the project before the renters moved in.

Arrived on time - everything ready to put in place. Seemed so effortless. Took out the old counters and backsplashes and took them away. New ones came in they fitted perfectly. (The have a person who comes to measure everything once you make the order - he is so careful and amazingly precise). The plumber arrives in the afternoon to connect up the sink - another great job and quickly done. Great job of cleaning up (not that much mess was made). Next morning the tile man arrives and confirms how you want your tiling to be - he is amazing and does a great job and a super clean up job too. A job well done and with very little upheaval on my part. Certainly would recommend them.

In March 2014, after months of searching for marble flooring
for our new home, my wife and I found what we believed was what we had been
looking for at
Princeton Countertop Installers Provider Name Locked
. We were taken into the warehouse to see the
material, but of the 12 crates we purchased (over 2300 Sq Ft) we were only
allowed to see 2-3 pieces from 2 crates (company policy). Being uneducated as
to what to look for regarding quality of material, we trusted
Princeton Countertop Installers Provider Name Locked
to
deliver a quality product. The material was paid for in full. Because we did
not need the material for several months, we were hesitant to purchase so far
in advance. However,
Princeton Countertop Installers Provider Name Locked
agreed to hold the material in their
warehouse until it was needed. After 6 weeks, however, we were told they could
no longer hold the material and it had to be delivered. We argued that we were
told otherwise, but
Princeton Countertop Installers Provider Name Locked
refused to hold the material any longer
without charging a ridiculous storage fee. My wife and I relented and the
material was delivered to our installer's warehouse (
Princeton Countertop Installers Provider Name Locked
recommended
and referred) where it was held for another six weeks. Two weeks ago, the
material was delivered to our home. After opening over half of the crates of material and
laying approximately 70 pieces, the installers (again,
Princeton Countertop Installers Provider Name Locked
recommended
and referred) advise my wife and I that the material was defective; more than
half of the material pulled from the first crates were damaged (cracked at
the edges, chipped along the sides, ect). The installer went on to say that
there was no point in continuing to
Princeton Countertop Installers Provider Name Locked
the material as he would never have
enough "good material" to work with. I immediately called our sales
person from
Princeton Countertop Installers Provider Name Locked
and advised him of the issue. This was on a Monday.
Meanwhile, the renovation on my home was at a standstill because everything was
waiting on the floor. My salesperson said that they would take care of the
problem. However, as the week went on, I was put off and delayed. I was told
they had more material coming in that week to replace the old, defective
material but it never did. I was told that the owner's were out of town in
Turkey and "unreachable" but that I could speak with the manager and
he could resolve the issue. I took the morning off work to go to their store
and speak with the manager. After waiting 30 minutes I was told by the manager,
Princeton Countertop Installers Provider Name Locked
, that he could not issue any refunds or credits or make any decisions
without speaking to the owners....who were in Turkey. I had now been run around
and delayed for a full week. The progress of work at my home had stopped for a
full week. I don't know why a company the size of
Princeton Countertop Installers Provider Name Locked
has managers
in place incapable of resolving this type of issue or why in this day and age
of technology, they are unable to communicate with the owners in Turkey. It is
now 10 days later and I have not been contacted back by anyone. I have had pay
to have the old, defective material chiseled up and removed. I have also had to
pay to have the old, defective material re-crated. Finally, I have had to find
and buy all new material to be installed. I have tried over and over again to
resolve this issue with the owners. They are not cooperating. Because the
material sat crated for 3 months, I was not aware of the defect until just 2
weeks ago. I have been told by three separate professional marble installers
that this was not an issue in transportation. They all agree that his issue has
to do with the material itself and that the material is defective.

These guys were Great
After checking with 4 other companies I called these guys and got
Princeton Countertop Installers Provider Name Locked
on the phone. I asked for an estimate on gave him the scope of the Job. To my surprise he said he would come by the next day in the morning if that as OK.
He was on time and professional. He really listened to our needs.
He said hed have a quote for me
Princeton Countertop Installers Provider Name Locked
day or two.
Princeton Countertop Installers Provider Name Locked
called me a few hours later and asked me to pick out a door style for more accurate pricing on the web site. I happened to be within miles of their office so I decieded to stop by and check out there showroom.
Upon my arrival and to my surprise, he had allready had some preliminary drawings made up in their CAD software.
I picked out the door style and made some suggestions on changing the design a little.
By the end of the Day he had sent the revisions via e-mail and the quote.
I was very pleased with the numbers and felt they were fair for the scope of the project.
My wife and i drove into their showroom again on the weekend to go over a few things with them. they were very attentive and professional.
We firmed everything up and they made some changes to the design and Quote. I told them Id let them know in a few days.
after looking over the other quotes they were very fair.
The other companiees I had called took 10-14 days just to get me a quote. I almost went with another company and was about to pull the trigger but their service was very Poor.

What one me over with I-4 Kitchens- Their Service!!! These guys always Did whatever they said they would do and More.
I could not find a reason not to go with them and within a week from my initial call ,we pulled the trigger and signed on for the work
Junior and
Princeton Countertop Installers Provider Name Locked
came out to do a final inspection and re measure to verify the order.
The cabinets came as soon as they projected and right on track.
The installer came out the following day and began installing them.
The Granite guys came out the last day the installer was there and templated the Granit and returned a week later to install.
All in all a great experience, and im not an easy guy to do buisiness with as I have a high attention to accuracy.
There were a few things I wanted adjusted and they were handled professionally and to my standards.
I referred them to one neighbor allready and they are doing their kitchen now. I have a few more friends who i have given their numbers to as well
I would use these guys again without hesitation.
Great Job Trry, Junior you have a good crew- thank you.
