Countertop Installation Reviews in Plainfield

Found out after the fact that the job was extremely over priced. Sub-contractors (
Marble and Glass) did a great job, but could have avoided the middle man and saved lots of cash. Poor responsiveness by phone or email.

My wife and I wanted to make sure that we got as much quality as we could and still stayed within our budget.
, the designer, really listened about what we liked and her design incorporated our desires. She did a far better design than we imagined using design glass in 2 accent cabinets. We have received so many compliments.
, the contractor simply could not have been more professional. One thing that impressed us the most is that at the end of each day, he cleaned up the kitchen and put all his tools to the side rather than just leaving everything laying around. It?s those little things that made a huge difference. We were having company coming over shortly after the expected completion date and we were a little nervous that we wouldn?t have a completed kitchen.
kept assuring us that it would be done. Not only did he meet the completion date but also he was 3 days early. Both
were easily accessible by telephone when questions arose. That communication is so important to me as this is not my area of expertise. Additionally, the work exceeded our expectations. At one point I asked
why the crown molding dipped in above the sink instead of going straight across. He said that it provides an accent and aesthetically looks better. He could have just run the molding straight across but he took the time to make it look so much better. We are saving up money to remodel our bathroom and we will certainly call
to come up with great ideas and do professional work again.

Countertop Installation reviews in Plainfield

I was very adamant about getting the job scheduled before I went out of town. But I felt like I had to hunt them down to get it all arranged the way I wanted it to. I really wanted it to be planned so I was in town and at home during the counter top installation and back splash.

I had ordered the sinks and vanity but decided the plumbing was more than I could handle. I asked
Plainfield Countertop Installers Provider Name Locked
to do the work for me because he had done such a great job on another project. I wanted the plumbing behind the wall instead of in front, so it involved some extra dry wall work and cutting. The new vanity was higher than I thought so the mirror had to be moved up - no problem - no worries - no extra cost even though it was my miscalculation. The job was done in a day he stayed until 6:30 PM to finish! My wife loves the new vanity and extra sink. It makes the bathroom more luxurious and should help the resale of the home. Meanwhile we will enjoy the higher vanity, extra sink and storage space.

Very unpleasant salesperson. After looking at the granite slabs in the yard we stood and waited for the salesperson. After 20 minutes she never even acknowledged us. An "I'll be with you shortly" would have sufficed. When she finally spoke to us, she seemed annoyed. I even asked her if everything was okay. She clearly wasn't interested in my business and I would not spend a dime there and wouldn't recommend it to anyone else either.

First i need to say they have Very Poor comunication. They were to arrive at 2-4pm. They showed up at 7 and left at 10:30 pm. Not happy about that but oh well we got it done. I was upset because I had to call them to see why they were late. I had to call them to see why they were late so we were not off to a good start. We purchased two slabs for our countertops that is what we were told to do and the left over they would cut and polish for our three small tables and our kitchen window ledge. During the installation they broke the slab that met with our cooktop. so instead of two seams we had 4. They assured us that we would not be able to tell the difference. We could. They said after the new year they would come back out to deliver the tabletops and the kitchen ledge. They did come back out but, the ledge was too long so they caulcked it, thank goodness it was clear caulck. They brought the tabletops out at that same time and they were not cut right to sit down into the tables so they took them back, saying someone will call us when they are ready. We have never received a call even after we placed 3 or 4 phone calls. So the job has not been completed even after 3 months. They got paid though which is why i am so mad. We still have seams that need to be filled in and polished and have called twice now in one week and no onehas called us back.

There are no

costs and their work is very professional and accurate.
The seams were so well glued that I hardly recognized them. I had the opportunity also
to selection which portions of the slab would go where in my kitchen. I really appreciated this
and the cuts to slab and resulting pieces (3 plus an island) all compliemented each other and looked
fantastic - a far cry from ordering at a big box store and choosing from a 3 inch sample. A follow up call
and card were made by the company to insure I was satisfied.

nMy overall experience with Quality Tiling was wonderful from beginning to end. Starting with

, the office manager, who took my initial call.

was professional, courteous, and asked questions relevant to what I was planning to do, my time frame, budget, etc.

, the owner, called me the next day, we set up an appointment to meet, discuss the scope of work, and look at materials and from here the "journey began".
I received bids from three other contractors than Quality. After discussions and review of the bids, I chose Quality and not once regretted the decision. I was recently widowed and had sold my home of 28 years and bought this one. I have never been through a project of this proportion and was overwhelmed.

explained what they would do, how they would do it, cost, possible issues that might come up and resolutions. During the demo and installation, I came to know

who were wonderful. Always courteous, helpful, and answered any questions I had. Their work was meticulous and it was obvious they enjoyed what they did and who they did it for. They were respectful of the house and left it each night clean and orderly.

was always available to answer any questions I had, pointed out things that might be an issue, and referred me to a plumber and carpenter who I used in other facets of the project (installation of kitchen cabinets, a custom fireplace surround and mantel). Both contractors were great and I will not hesitate to use them for any future work or refer them.
Although other contractors were involved and
Plainfield Countertop Installers Provider Name Locked
was responsible for the tiling, he made sure that everyone and everything was coordinated. He was helpful to me in picking out tile, concerned about grout color, coordination, my satisfaction of his company's work and that of the contractors he referred. During the project, one of the ceramic tiles on the outside of the shower chipped.

told me about this and went to a number of places to find a replacement tile which matched. Even after the project was completed,

texted to find out if I had resolved an issue of moving a ceiling fixture. The electrician I had scheduled to do the work got sick and once again

gave me the names of some people to call and he even called one himself.
I guess the best recommendation I can give is the reaction of people who have been to the house and have commented on how nice the house is and how beautiful the floors look. It's especially gratifying hearing from people who saw the "before and after" . It truly is a different house and I am extremely happy and grateful.
Quality is truly a fitting name. The staff, their work, materials, honesty, dependability are nothing less than QUALITY.
