Countertop Installation Reviews in Oak Park

This is the second time we have used this company and have had a wonderful experience both times.
came to measure the counter in a timely fashion and was helpful in providing sink information. The installation crew was efficient (3 hours)and fastidious!
- Linda H.

responded to my photos and rough dimensions of our kitchen countertops and desk top. He then came over for an initial measurement. He
out how each piece of countertop would be placed on a single slab of granite: this took much detailed problem solving. Other outfits quoted based on two slabs but
was able to layout the pieces by suggesting a two piece design on the island. He was able to make an invisible seam (virtually) for the island
piece. We were given the name and address of the granite supplier to visit and choose a recommended sized slab to accommodate his layout. We then were able to schedule the work within 1.5 weeks.
came one more time to ensure he had all details necessary. THe installation took about twice the time predicted because of an upper cabinet that needed to be removed to accommodate the severe corner at our sink. There was no additional charge for this. THe workers were EXTREMELY careful and did such a great job in ensuring NO PAINTING had to be done post installation. I highly recommend them because of the meticulous work including ensuring all back splashes were caulked. All debris was removed upon completion. I initially made the mistake of using a non-plumber to save money but when that turned sour (leaks) I called
to ask if his plumber would do the $250.00 for the work. This was a fair price for the work required. The price of the entire job was nearly 1/2 of other companies and results STELLAR! The price included a new sink, very deep and fantastic!

Countertop Installation reviews in Oak Park

We contacted
Oak Park Countertop Installers Provider Name Locked
initially about quoting for white quartz counters in our kitchen. After changing our minds about the final product several times, we finally decided that natural quartzite was the best option for our project. We thought we settled on a color and

provided a sample for us to view at our home. After seeing the color in the house, we changed our mind on the color and he recommended that we view slabs at the supplier warehouse. After doing so, we settled on color, chose our slab, and were able to

off the areas on the slab after they received it at their location.

found us a remnant in black granite for the bar area and installed everything a week later. They were patient with all the indecision on our part with product/color changes, and the installers/fabricators did a nice job fitting everything. We were very pleased from start to finish with the project.

I liked them. They were good. The workers were good and I had no problems. They were friendly and did a nice work. Their price was good. I would recommend them and use them again in the future.
- Kevin M.

We highly recommend this company. At the suggestion of the estimator, we did decide to go with having a solid surface sink installed and we're glad we did so, especially as it did help brighten a dark room. The installation was very well done and actually looks better than we thought it would. All our questions were answered and we asked a lot of them. The only problem with this company was getting hold of them. We were about to give up when we finally got through. So be persistent when trying to reach them--they're worth the effort. All in all a very good experience. Although some people prefer granite, we definitely prefer solid surface for our use. One plus was that we were able to get a look inside the fabrication unit parked outside, which was cool.

I am very happy with all the work

and his crew did, from the estimates and measurements to the removal of the old and installation of the new. Everything fit into place perfectly and looks great. The plumber subcontractor also did a great job and showed up about 1 hour after the new countertops went in. From start to finish the entire job (removal, installation, plumbing) only took 3.5 hours. Great price, great work. Highly recommended.

This was one of the best experiences we have had with a contractor in the 5 years we have spent slowly updating our 1890's

responded to my initial call immediately and came over with samples of granite to choose from. Once we made our choice, we went to the warehouse he recommended to pick out our slabs.

returned to do the precise measurements and the countertops were installed in one day. His installation team was courteous, professional, and efficient. The plumber he recommended to install the new sink and disposal,

This order was placed in early September. When the product arrived, it was a plastic countertop and we learned that it had been improperly ordered. After promising to refund my money and order the countertop for free, Lowe's never did so. We pestered them for about two weeks, calling the department, associate manager and district manager, but no one responded. After the badgering, someone finally agreed to help us. Two months after initial order, we received our countertop, but no apologies. I will not do business with the Brickyard Lowe's again.

met with us, listened to what we wanted from our kitchen, and designed a plan that we liked. Gave us a start date and actually was able to start 2 weeks prior. The demolition took less than 3 days, and went smoothly. Communication was pretty consistent start to finish. The price was actually in the neighborhood of 26K, but the extensive electrical work needed to get this old kitchen up to code pushed the overall price up. But we were prepared for that, as

was clear about that likely possibility up front. Crew was very considerate of our personal space, cleaning the work area after every day, even putting down protective sheets on our back deck whenever they needed to move a lot of material out or into the work space. Unasked, the crew set up our old microwave and fridge in an adjoining room so that we could still eat and store food and drink. Overall, a very positive experience. I have, recommended them to neighbors, and would certainly use them again.

I had a lot of contractors come over to bid. Most were way out of my budget or not helpful. When I met
Oak Park Countertop Installers Provider Name Locked
, I knew he had an efficient, organized system to give me a design, bid, and ideas. There was little debate about who I would choose at that point. We started almost immediately. He and I went to look for cabinets and made a design. I did the rest of the choosing of materials. His work crew was great. They were friendly, trusting, and I never minded having them in the house when I was gone. The project took about 6-8 weeks, held up about a week by the granite installer. Other than that, they were on task. I had chosen a glass opaque tile with a slight green tint. They were experienced enough to know that if they used the usual adhesive, the tile would appear white. They bought a clear adhesive and tinted it with the color of the walls. The glass tiles came out beautifully and are the highlight of the kitchen. I have used

for 3 more projects since and am happy!
