Naperville Natural Stone Tile Reviews

"The person came out to provide an estimate. He arrived promptly and answered a great many questions. He provded quite a few samples and went back to the truck to locate other samples of the colors I was seeking. He measured for construction and provided a copy of the diagram. I received an estimate from

with the color that I liked at the house. Of course, the final price is dependent upon the actual selection of granite. You do need to see the entire slab! We went to the showroom to pick out the granite slabs the following weekend. We required two slabs and were concerned with the color.

and the gentlemen in the warehouse were very helpful (above and beyond) to permit us to see the two slabs side by side in the same lighting. That was not easy to do because it required a crane and they were busy with other customers.

and the folks in the warehouse moved it without complaint or upset. They wished to please their customers. The company was able to install about 10 days later. The installers arrived on time. They removed the old counter tops (

) with no damage. We had tile over the old backsplash that we wanted to keep and were concerned about damage on removal. There was none! We were keeping existing cabinets and they discovered that the original cabinets installed by the builders were not level. This was brought to our attention immediately. (

will flex, granite will not). I was concerned with appearance but the installers provided an idea that could correct the problem; my husband was able to confirm this. When it came to installing the granite, they were extremely meticulous and took pride in their work. Every decision about placement of back splash and overhang (down to the 1/4 inch) was addressed to assure that everything was to our satisfaction. We had a butler's pantry with unusual sizing; we were consulted regarding overhang and backsplash. We also had tile over the counters that we wanted to keep, but our existing cabinets not being level could have interfered. We told them they could remove the tile as needed to ensure that the appearance of the granite was good. When they leveled the counters, the tile would interfere. They told us they could remove it but since the difference was so slight on one side, they could grind it down (1/4 inch) and continue to install. We were thrilled. They cut the tile down (without damaging the wall) and proceed. The granite is beautiful and we were able to keep the tile instead of replacing it. I had scheduled the plumber to come the next morning because I wanted everything to be totally set before the plumbing was attached. He arrived about 2:00 on the day of installation but was pleasant when I told him there was a mistake. (They were still installing the granite anyway). He arrived the next day on time. I had a minor leak and called the company. The plumber was able to come out within 2 hours and corrected the problem. Although he installed a new piece, the plastic must have been misformed in some manner. He replaced that piece and corrected the problem. They did everything they could to satisfy their customer.
"They do not send someone out for an estimate. They asked me fax a diagram of the counters with the measurements. I did so and received a fax back with cost ranges (based on granite pricing tiers). You have to select the granite and have your home measured by an installer before the pricing can be truly determined. They also provided information regarding installation and contracting and other data that I requested. The company does not provide a 16 guage stainless steel sink; it is not available even for an additional fee."
"I contacted the company to provide an estimate for granite counter tops on 2/1/12. They stated that they would need to contact me to set a date and time. I did not hear from them for about a week to leave a message. By the time they left a message for me to set an appointment, I had received two written estimates and met with one other vendor. It took too long to hear back to set an appointment for an estimate."
"The person in charge handled every detail. He was truly the foreman of the job and kept everyone coordinated and on time and the job went smoothly as any construction job could go. We would use them again! We lived in the house during the entire construction project and they made sure they contained as much dust as possible. "
"Just great! After I had picked out the color of granite, the proper undermount sink and new faucet,

"The work was done well as far as the fabrication and installation, and in a fairly timely manner. The marble was well matched and the edging was done well. My only complaint is that some of the stone was without adequate sealant."
"They came to our home and gave us an estimate. Work was slow to begin and was never completed. The work that was done was done in a shoddy fashion. Seal coat that we contracted for was never applied on most surfaces, trim work was either not completed or completed in a shoddy fashion, and ultimately we ended up having to contract with 2 different contractors to complete the final job."
"The project went pretty smoothly. The estimator really looked and measured carefully. Project had a quick turnaround time."
"Miserable performance. Extremely small company (two principles) that could not accommodate large, complex jobs or handle problems."

and Ivonka from the office were always amazing to work with. We changed our mind on the type of countertop we wanted and they didn't give us any hassle at all. Once the cabinets were in,

came out and did a final measurement.

was very professional and took the time to explain everything to us. We submitted the down payment and a week later our countertops were being installed. The day of the installation was one of the hottest days this summer. The installers were running about 90 minutes late but we were informed so it wasn't a big deal.
Naperville Natural Stone Tile Provider Name Locked
showed up shortly before the installers did and he was drenched in sweat, (the truck he was driving didn't have any air conditioning), but he wanted to personally be the one to deliver our kitchen sink back, (I was paranoid something might happen to it while it was not in our possession but it was just as perfect as the day he picked it up). We gave
Naperville Natural Stone Tile Provider Name Locked
and his installers bottled water to cool down and decided to buy them dinner as it was starting to get late and after carrying heavy slabs and working in the heat, it seemed the right thing to do. They were very appreciative of the food and water and said that rarely happens. (Hopefully more people will buy them food and or give them a bottled water - these guys work very, very hard.)
Anyway, they promptly got to work installing the countertops. They had to make a cut in the top of the new cabinets to fit in the very large kitchen sink, but they took the time to explain that to us.
Naperville Natural Stone Tile Provider Name Locked
said the cabinets were perfectly level and who ever did them clearly did a terrific job. (Sometimes they run into issues where the cabinets are uneven and it can make the installation quite difficult.) It was nice to receive such a compliment and it made us even more happy about the company we chose to do our cabinets.

's team worked quickly but in a respectful manner to our kitchen and to us. One thing I wasn't expecting was the strong chemical smell from the epoxy and I'm guessing the sealer, but we opened a few windows, turned on some fans and lowered the A/C. It dissipated in a couple hours.
I did have a question about the hole that was made for our water filtration system and Ivonka said she could have someone come out to make the hole slightly larger if we needed. We are hoping a new faucet will fix the problem.
I have nothing but wonderful things to say about the quality of the work and customer service from the team at
Naperville Natural Stone Tile Provider Name Locked
. We had used a different company a few years back to install a granite countertop on a bathroom vanity and you can clearly tell the cut and polish of their granite is nothing compared to the expertise of

. I am not a fan or remodeling, however, I can't wait until we remodel a bathroom to use

again. Highly recommended!!!
