"I have had a few crowns and other work with Dr.
. He is the best i ever have. I have very extensive crown work, they were done ten years" ago in Hawaii. They started to crack over time. i have been to many cosmetic dentist over the years since i no longer live in Hawaii, and as i feared, the work has been a disappointment and charges are unreasonable. I finally found Dr.
. He is very thorough, efficient and has a lot of integrity in his work. I had a difficult tooth in the front that cracked and i was extremely worried about matching the color with the rest of my crown. He kept my cracked crown as a model and have the new crown fitted exactly in color and shape as the old crown. I am a hard to please patient and this time, i am very happy. He did a perfect job and his charges are reasonable. I am very grateful i found hits Dentist.

"My experience was nothing less than exceptional. I've been going to this establishment for years and when I moved 2 hours away, I stopped going to any Dentist." 5 years later, I moved back and they still had all my information in their system. All the staff are courteous, I get right in, and Dr.
was very personable, his bedside manner was great, and very thorough in his decisions. All my questions were answered. My periodontal scaling was done very professional.
kept asking me if I could feel the instruments, asked me how my pain was, and if I needed anymore Nitrous Oxide.
then showed me before and after x-rays to let me see that she had gotten all the plaque build up that was under my
. Although my mouth was sensitive for a couple of days (which is expected) , My pain was very minimal and I was able to get back to work by the following Monday. I was also set up for two visits so they could do my whole mouth. One on Tuesday and one on Thursday. They are so busy it takes a couple of months to get in. I was still living 2 hours away and missed my first appointment. The next available appointment was not for 3 more months but they knew that I lived out of town and put me on a cancellation waiting list. They moved some scheduling around and was able to get me in on the same day I was scheduled but did my whole mouth. I've been to many organizations where I was less than satisfied and it is hard for me to rate highly for any organization so I felt it was necessary to take the time and rate this Dentist office with a 5 star rating. I would recommend anyone for this Dentist office.

TMJ

We typically associate dentistry with oral treatments designed to improve your smile. However, a more serious reason for people to visit a dentist is a temporomandibular joint disorder (TMJ).

I am familiar witht he ClearChoice Dental Implant Centers across the country, in particluar, the one in Overland Park, KS.  They are a "one stop" implant center.  The doctors there are at the top of their field, and an advantage is that you have all of the specialists that will be working with you in the same place.  That would have to make communication easier between doctors.  They usually offer seminars for patients and I think, offer free consultations, which is always worthwhile.

If you chose to go the other way, some Prosthodontists will place and restore the implants themselves. In other cases, an Oral Surgeon or Periodontist will place the implant and a Prosthodontist or General Dentist restores it.   Fees can vary quite a bit from office to office and with the different options for restorative materials.  Some offer free consultations, for others, they charge a fee that might be applied to any future treatment in some cases.

The first step is to schedule a few consultations with different providers, which it sounds like you've already done.

The most important factors when deciding which practitioner to work with:
:
.1.  You should feel comfortable asking your doctor any questions so that you have a good understanding of the procedure itself, healing time and long-terem outcome, and possible complications.  Write down a list of questions and take them with you to the consultation.

2.  Ask about the experience of the practitioner. How many similiar procedures have they completed?  Have they had any major complications with any cases?  Ask to see photos if possible.

3..Figure out if it works out better for your schedule, to go to a "one stop" provider or to separate providers for the placement and the restoration of the implants.

4. Follow your instincts.  If you feel rushed, didn't get direct answers to your questions, didn't communicate well or had any other negative feelings, this probably isn't the doctor for you.

5. Consider insurance coverage and financing options.  If your dental plan covers implants and it is important to you to use a preferred provider, you will want to check your list.  Many times, insurance does not cover implants, or at least not all of the steps.  You may want to inquire about payment and financing options.

I hope this at least helps you feel a little less confused and a little more directed. Please don't hesitate to contact me if I can be of further help.
Sincerely,

As a  Dentist, I am sorry to hear about your denture nightmare and I know how frustrating that can be.  I am surprised that your doctor wasn't willing to work with you on some type of solution.  A few options would be either remaking the dentures once more,  or offering to return some of the money and have you return the dentures.   Unfortunately, the doctor has put in a lot of their time and lab expenses, but the patient also  has time and money invested.  You might try sending a letter re-explaining the problems you hand and offering an acceptible and fair solution.  Be sure to keep a copy of it and any correspondence you receive from the Dental Office.  In the event that you don't get anywhere, you have documentation of the problem.

At any point in the process, did they have you sign something saying you were happy with the denture set up?  Some practitioners will document the patient's acceptance at the try-in appointment, before the denture is processed.  At that time, changes in tooth arrangement, size and color can be made with minimal lab expense.

If the letter doesn't get you anywhere, you might try going to the governing body of the dental profession in your area.  I am a dentist in Blue Springs, Missouri, USA.  Here, we have the Missouri Dental Board  (or the Dental Division of the Missouri Department of Professional Registration.)  This is the entity that licenses us to perform our professional duties in our state.  They often have a process to file complaints against a provider if you were unable to resolve the problem yourself.   After your complaint is received, they will contact the doctor to get their side of the story, then try to mediate a solution between the two parties.

As far as a new set of dentures, you might seek out the services of a Prosthodontist (specializes in dentures and removable appliances - extra training and certification beyond general dentistry) or go to a local dental school.  The students are supervised and checked off at each step by professionals.  Most dental schools also treat patients through their faculty practices, and you can often get the services of a specialist at a lower price.

I hope this information is helpful to your situation, and I wish you well.

He is a specialist in complicated dental issues and is really the best and in fact, one of the best in the area. He is expensive, but he is very knowledgeable and informative and takes time to explain things to me and answers my questions. I had a complicated case and he worked really hard. He is currently my dentist as well.

At my first appointment Dr Kasabji greeted me at the front desk and was very friendly, I explained to him that I am a big baby and am terrified of having dental work done and he promised to be extra gentle with me. The first step was to have X-Rays, an exam and then a cleaning. The dental hygienist (Dawn) proved to be very professional, knowledgeable and thorough. Unfortunately I have an incredibly sensitive gag reflex to go along with my fear of having dental work done so it took much, much longer for her to complete the X-rays than it should have, yet despite repeated attempts she was pleasant, kind and patient with me. With the help of other members of the staff they were able to get a complete set of X-rays. Dr Kasabji, true to his word, was very gentle during the exam and then explained the course of treatment that he had in mind. After my cleaning I scheduled another appointment for the following week to begin repairing the damage created by my years of negligence. Having had no insurance and lacking the money to pay out of pocket was the primary reason I had not seen a dentist in nearly 20 years but my fear of the process played a large role too. During my second and third appointments Dr Kasabji filled two teeth and pull another that had broken down to the gum line. Every step of the way he checked with me to make sure that I was comfortable and was not in any pain. Both he and his assistant (

I had been to a dentist in the area who was recommended as an expert in dental appliances for apnea. The appliance was expensive and cheesy. It broke in under 2 months and wasn't adjustable...and did nothing for my apnea.
So, I was a bit skeptical about going to another sleep apnea specialist. Dr.
Maryville Tmj Pain Provider Name Locked
and staff are the polar opposite of my first dentist.
I've been a patient for over a year and can honestly say that Dr.
Maryville Tmj Pain Provider Name Locked
is a top practitioner and a terrific person. You're always greeted warmly by the staff with professional grace (even when I dropped by without an appointment).
Dr.
Maryville Tmj Pain Provider Name Locked
has a full compliment of high tech equipment to custom fit not only the appliance but also the treatment. She uses home based sleep studies, in-office interviews and blood pressure readings to measure the progress of each client.
The appliance has been a god-sent, it's rugged, fits perfectly and being able to adjust it myself has avoided the need to make an appointment for every minor tweak. ...and not to mention I'm sleeping well and not drowsy during the day...Yay!
Dr.

Having not seen the inside of a dentist office in over 10+ years, mostly due to living abroad and, well, getting on with life whilst forgoing the care of my teeth (oh how naïvely stoic some of us think we are in our 20s), I was in dire need for a full mouth overhaul and I with severe pain starting to affect my ears and overall health, I knew it could no longer be avoided. Add in the time-lengthy lack of a dentist to the fact that I’m also, unfortunately, prone to developing cavities seemingly out of the blue, predisposed with soft tooth-enamel and born with a wretched cross-bite/TMJ, I knew I was in for a (sobering) ride.
Luckily, the entire office personnel staff, doctors, surgeons, and hygienists are all extremely lovely and understanding. Dr.
Maryville Tmj Pain Provider Name Locked
has the best bed-side manner and the other dentists are also good too. They seem to genuinely care about ones welfare and are always sure to discuss the price estimate and alternative options prior to any non-routine yet necessary endeavor. They’ve never forced me into doing anything (and/or signing a release form) that I wasn’t 100% comfortable with. I also like that the providers here have always maintained to be upfront with me by making themselves clear as to whether or not something seen as a potential problem is that of their own personal opinion or not, and also if they think it’s something which needs fixing immediately and is essential, or if it’s something that could cause me problems further down the line. They try to incorporate as much preventative maintenance into the practice of dentistry (which actually isn’t a perfect science) by taking into account ones entire dental history and overall lifestyle health and habits as a whole. To me, I really appreciate that as I’ll be the first to admit to not being a “perfect" human in regards to my health in the past decade.
Another positive experience I’ve had with working with Dr.
Maryville Tmj Pain Provider Name Locked
and Dr.
Maryville Tmj Pain Provider Name Locked
, who does root canals, is when something unexpected occurred during the most recent root canal I had in
Maryville Tmj Pain Provider Name Locked
2014, they immediately informed me and didn’t hold back that the error had been their fault. Long story short, I would need another porcelain crown to be made, plus a new temporary crown put in for the interim. They didn’t charge me a cent for the new temp crown or the new porcelain crown mold to be made. 2 weeks later when I came back in to have the permanent porcelain crown put in, the always warm and lovely Dr.
Maryville Tmj Pain Provider Name Locked
assured me before I even had the thought to ask, that it, too, was “on the house”. This may seem like a small scale issue to some, but trust me, when you
Maryville Tmj Pain Provider Name Locked
’t know squat about dentistry other than the difference between flouride toothpaste and regular toothpaste and to brush teeth a minimum of twice daily after food, it really means a lot to be treated with more than an ounce of dignity! In all seriousness, they could EASILY have charged me in full for the additional appointment, temp. crown and the cost of getting the permanent crown fitted, molded, and installed without me ever being the wiser except noting that my bank account was balance was worse for wear. In fact, they legally were in their rights to charge me for their own error if they had felt like they wanted to. I’ve been ripped off before by doctors/healthcare professionals in the past, so to have them actually be forthright to me about rectifying their own admitted mistake and charge a big fat $0 to do the procedure(s) all over again, is a BIG deal to me and I must say it kinda won me over a little bit!
Lastly, the office management are always professional and sincerely
Maryville Tmj Pain Provider Name Locked
to work with. They are impressively flexible and really great about phone call appointment reminders, negotiating different payment plans, insurance (or lack-there-of) issues, and so forth. Yes, this practice isn’t the cheapest outfit one could probably find but I’d much rather trust in what I’m paying more for in the long haul and know it’s a job well done, rather than paying a few
Maryville Tmj Pain Provider Name Locked
less and not knowing whether my mouth will stand the test of time. Besides, in the DC metropolitan area, I really doubt one will find a family dentistry that is going to substantially save them more whilst having the expertise, honestly, friendly, and flexibility as
Maryville Tmj Pain Provider Name Locked
does. Dentist are NOT cheap. Full stop. In this case, “put your money where your mouth is” gives a new twist and more positive meaning to paying for what one gets. And, yes, pun definitely intended.

The experience of getting fitted for the device went as well as you could possibly expect. Of course, it's yucky getting that paste stuff in your mouth when they take the impression, but it went fast. The Dentist was extremely knowledgable and gave me all the information I was looking for. The whole process of getting fitted was painelss. The device arrived very promptly. I've had it for a couple months now and wouldn't go back to the CPAP machine for anything in the world. The mouth piece is comfortable, convenient and highly effective. You can even talk with it in your mouth -- but I wouldn't try eating. My sleep apnea score has been cut in half, and we are continuing treatment. The office staff are wonderful. They work around my schedule when I have to come in, and even accomodate me when I miss an appointment (or even come in a day early). If anyone is considering going to a mouth device to treat snoring or sleep apnea, I highly recommend you talk with these folks. I can only hope your experience is half as good as mine.
