Window Replacement Reviews in Libertyville

Everything went very well. We met with the company's representatives and he was knowledgeable and honest with the details of how much it would cost and the type of windows available. Installation was very quick and very good. The new window in the dining room was very well done and looked great with the rest of the living windows. The replacement windows upstairs and in the kitchen were also very well done. It's been almost a year since the windows were put in and they are still one of the very best investments made for the house. I am still very satisfied with the windows and when I need to replace the basement and living room windows I will be calling the company again.

Hacker for an estimate on installing
Windows on my entire house. He came out a couple of days later, took measurements, made suggestions on how to do some of the work, and then submitted an estimate a few days later. We agreed that the work would be done right after the weather got better in the spring. In May he sent a crew (5 installers) out and they completed the entire installation in one week. They worked continuously for four to five days, reinstalled drapes and blinds they had removed, and cleaned up the areas where they had worked. They recommended a painter,
, who stained the inside of the windows.
did an excellent job and he completed all of his work within two weeks of the windows being installed. Can't praise Hacker's Exteriors enough on the job they (
the foreman, his crew, and
) did putting the windows in this house.

Window Replacement reviews in Libertyville

The original siding was rotting due to water seeping underneath it. They replaced the old siding and beams with new

Board siding. They also matched the new paint to the sides of the house so you cannot tell the new from the old. Also provided us with expert advice pertaining to the 3 remaining sides of the house.

The sales experience was fake.
Libertyville Window Installers Provider Name Locked
was a stereotypical sales person. He was easy to see through and pretended to be my best friend in the world. The salesperson was clearly trying too hard, leaving me to feel that he was trying to sell me a car in my kitchen.
Once the contract was signed,
Libertyville Window Installers Provider Name Locked
was impossible to reach. There were delays and he never followed-up. We had also agreed that his team would do some additional work (minor electrical) and that they'd contact us to let us know what we needed to provide in advance. The contact never occurred, resulting in my cancelling that portion of the contract.
Once they got around to the installation, they installed 14 windows and 4 skylights. Three of the skylights were installed in the family room, on a sloped roof. From the exterior it is clear that they replaced some of the shingles around the window. Just recently I noticed a water-

on the ceiling and cracked drywall. These

were not there prior to their work.

In bringing this up with the owner,

Domeq, I was told a fabricated story that his installer had allegedly told me at the time of installation that my roof was in bad shape. That conversation between me and the installer never occurred. I believe they are using that as a premise to distance themselves from the liability they created.
Further, they damaged a tree in the front yard while installing windows behind it. To this day, the owner continues to insist they only broke a branch "no bigger than my finger" (

's words). Begrudgingly he paid me $250 for the damage. I believe he is now avoiding liability on the roof/skylight because he already had to pay for the damage his team did to my tree. Repeatedly I was told by

Overall they did a very good job. I got quotes from 4 contractors on the whole house, 14 double hung vinyl windows and two patio doors. While they all came in with about the same price, HomeWorks was able to provide a product that the others were charging several thousand dollars more for, and the installation went very smooth. We had the installation about 2 weeks ago and we're very pleased with the job they did. I would recommend them to anyone and would use them again if I needed new windows and doors.

Their pricing was competitive with estimates that we got from other high quality installers.

was great to work with, and responsive/flexible to any questions/concerns that came up during the job. He also interceded on our behalf with the above suppliers as necessary. The craftsmanship of Zibby and crew was excellent. The worked hard; they worked fast, and always cleaned up before leaving each night. They were able to adapt on the fly, to the surprizes that cropped up on our remodeling project.

The project went very smoothly and fairly quickly overall considering the scope of the work.
Libertyville Window Installers Provider Name Locked
is a very detail-oriented person, a skilled craftsman, open to suggestions and ideas, and a good problem solver.
This is a 40 year old house, with a lot of quirks and 'issues'. He resolved all of the problems he encountered, as well as handled the main projects smoothly and professionally. The widow projects were performed with as little disruption & damage to the interior finishes as possible, and clean up was well taken care of each day. He found creative ways to remodel an old screened-in porch, and gave it new life.
When the windows came in, he had a large crew on hand. All of them were talented workmen in their own right. They provided the additional "lift" needed to ensure that the house was was closed up quickly.
Definitely a high-quality contractor.

and Gutter Cleaning did a great job cleaning all of our windows and gutters. We bought a large, new house that had not been lived in for 2 1/2 years and the windows were very dirty and gutters packed with debris/leaves. We called Bubbles' office in the morning and they had a cleaning crew of three workers to our house that same afternoon! The crew we had from their

office were fantastic (we live in Lake County)! Very, very hard working and great customer service. I will definitely use Bubbles again and I highly recommend them. I recently recommend Bubbles to a friend for window cleaning and she was equally happy with their service.

I called LDS on December 23 after the venting panel in our glass block shower window broke and fell to the floor.

came out the same day and repaired the panel, which was great, because without the panel in place there was nothing to keep the frigid air streaming into the bathroom. Fast and friendly service!

It was great. The job was finished on time in a reasonable amount of time. We partially live in the basement now! There is one part of our basement where an 8' by 16' section sort of juts out. As the work was progressing, I got the idea to raise the floor in that area to make it seem more cozy and like a stage. No problem.

built it. As my kids are now too grown up to put on shows there, the area is now where I do my crafts.

didn't know this before, but I guess he will now....we were so impressed with the work that he did when he built book cases in our family room, that we never even got another estimate on the basement!
