My order of preference - first choice a jacuzzi/hot tub repairman (from a jacuzzi/hot tub/sauna distributor), second choice a plumber (many do not work on hot tubs, jacuzzi's and sauna because they cnanot afford to stock parts). An electrician might be able to fix it if it is a connection problem, but such motors are seldom repaired if the problem is internal, just replaced - which would be a jacuzzi repairman/plumber type job.

You will have to find out what your model costs new - looks like they run from about $400 to 1700 depending on size. IF yours is at the lower end, might be just as cheap to replace it, with parts and labor. If not low end, then repair probably works. Typical pricing of components that might have gone out - switch $80, timer/control unit $130, heating element $100 (probably most likely to have failed) - so if only one of these went out, figuring $100-200 labor, probably cheaper to fix it. I would contact your dealer for a better idea.

BTW - here is a Saunatec instruction on maintenance on the heating element and rocks, failure to follow can shorten heating element life, if that is what went out (and probably the simplest to replace) -

I'm sorry to say there aren't many of us on here with adequate experience working on pools, myself included.  My suggestion would be to contact a few local companies specializing in pool renovation and have them give their recommendations and bids for the work, breaking down order of operations so you know what to expect at which stages.  Check Angie's List for referrals in your area and cross check those with the BBB for any unresolved complaints.

omeI would highly recommend
Jacksonville Pool Cleaners Provider Name Locked
and his people at
Jacksonville Pool Cleaners Provider Name Locked
.
Jacksonville Pool Cleaners Provider Name Locked
came to the home that
Jacksonville Pool Cleaners Provider Name Locked
and I were considering buying and laid out several options for placement of a pool. Based upon his recommendations, we put a deposit down for
Jacksonville Pool Cleaners Provider Name Locked
and purchased the home.
Within 2 weeks of our closing date,
Jacksonville Pool Cleaners Provider Name Locked
was on site, building the 16 X 32 in-ground pool. They were neat, efficient and very courteous. After a 3 week process,
Jacksonville Pool Cleaners Provider Name Locked
was completed and a punch walk was done to ensure that we were happy with the installation. We pointed out a few minor issues, and they went the extra mile to make the requested changes.
Through the course of the home purchase, we have had several contractors doing work for us, and I can tell you,
Jacksonville Pool Cleaners Provider Name Locked
was without a doubt the best to work with.
We look forward to many years of enjoyment with our new pool.

One Guard is horrible. All they do is make up excuses but take your money. So frustrating dealing with them. Last winter when we had a freeze I reported a problem with a leak are our pool equipment. Took them one week to get someone out to diagnose that lied about what WE spoke about. Then took another 2 1/2 weeks to get someone else out. Pool was down for 3-3 1/2 weeks in winter. Not good. Besides we had to pay out of pocket for new heater. Then our Sub zero refrigerator was leaking. I shut down the water line. They sent someone out & said I need a part & that will be $59.00. Three weeks later no part. Again another frustrating situation with One Guard. The next day I called another company & guess what-they had part in stock. I don't understand how you Angie list people can give this company positive feedback. By the way we had been with another warranty company for 12 years that never gave us all these problems.

The whole process went very well from star to finish.
I selected three companies to contact based on their Angie's list reviews. I heard back from the other two companies, but neither of them were as professional as the Brewer family.
Jacksonville Pool Cleaners Provider Name Locked
Brewer replied to my Angie's list inquiry almost immediately, and rather than start to quote prices or simply look at my home on Google Maps (which one of the other companies did),
Jacksonville Pool Cleaners Provider Name Locked
asked for my address so he could stop by the home and take a look before he discussed anything with me.
He gave me a call after inspecting the homes and came up with his recommendation. We spent about 45 minutes on the phone as he educated me about the ins and outs of the heater he was recommending as well as the particular solar system they were recommending. He was very knowledgeable. I could tell by speaking with him that he's been doing this for a while.
The price was a bit higher than other companies I spoke with, but in the end I felt confident that
Jacksonville Pool Cleaners Provider Name Locked
was going to take care of everything in the most professional manner. The work they were doing was on my two vacation homes, so living out-of-state I wanted to work with someone I could trust.
After I agreed to everything with
Jacksonville Pool Cleaners Provider Name Locked
, he scheduled a time just about a week later to have everything installed. His son
Jacksonville Pool Cleaners Provider Name Locked
was on-site to supervise the installation, and he met with my local property manager to educate them on how to operate the systems.
Jacksonville Pool Cleaners Provider Name Locked
then gave me a call while he was still at the homes and walked me through how everything was working, and he customized some of the settings for me as I was on the phone with him.
As a vacation property owner, the single greatest complaint that I ever receive from guests is due to the pool or spa temperature. We don't get a lot of complaints, but when we do, it is heart-breaking because issues with the pool temperature are the most difficult things to "fix" long distance. If a guest says that the floor is dirty, it is easy to send another cleaner over same day. If the pool water is too cool though, and it is December or January, it could take several days to get the temperature up, and by then it might be too late. Although the heater and solar combination is pricey, I am hopeful that we will not only see a decent energy savings over time, but that our two pools will remain consistently warmer than competing homes, improving the satisfaction of our guests.
I was very happy with the work that
Jacksonville Pool Cleaners Provider Name Locked
did, and I recommend them without hesitation.

I submitted a request for appointment, and he replied to the request quickly asked me to call since he did not have my number. I called and he was very courteous helping me identify a provider that can do the job I need done.
