Cleaning crisis

COMPLAINT: William Rodgers, Chicago

"I hired Three Marias Cleaning to clean my house. They didn't bring cleaning rags or supplies, and they didn't ask about washing the sheets or how I would like things cleaned.

"They also didn't clean out their mop bucket or take the trash to the dumpster."

DESIRED RESOLUTION: "I'd like a $105 refund."

STATUS: Resolved

Screen squabble

COMPLAINT: Rose Marie Spandau, Itasca, Ill.

"I hired Amruss Window Cleaning in Prairie View to wash my windows. It became very windy after the job was complete, and I noticed one of the screens wasn't fastened properly.

"After I called them three times, someone came out to fasten it, but by then the screen had been torn from the window and the frame was broken. They took the screen and said they would repair it, but I've heard nothing from them."

DESIRED RESOLUTION: "I'd like the screen repaired and returned."
