the procedure went well. Dr.
Decatur Urologists Provider Name Locked
has been my urologist for some time. He was my first urologist when I lived in Orangeburg and when I returned to Orangeburg, I went back to him. Love his sense of humor. The nursing staff is outstanding including the office staff as well. I would not hesitate to recommend him.

Went very bad. He "sold" me on the Green Light procedure to be done in his office. After several tests/evalustion sessions and his "complete" explanation of the procedure and expections, I elected to have it done. In the recovery, his nurse "barked" a bunch of instructions at me. The Dr. and the Anest. were already working on the next patient in the next room. I had some trouble immediately complying with her instructions because of the type of bench he used (old and obviously not for this type of surgery/recovery). So the 1 hour procedure took six. Then started the problems. I was having trouble in healing. Every time I went back to the Dr, I was told I was "technically ok." But I felt like sh?t. I had several- maybe 3 urinary infections. The doc then told me that "about 25% of the patients have some sort of problem." Nice to know now. After 5 months, I was having blocking in my bladder. The Dr did another surgery- this time at an outpatient center. That fixed the problem, and I am fine now. In retrospect, I think the Doc liked the technology/procedure and did not understand patient recovery. He was concerned about that like a deer in the headlights. Not a clue. don't use him unless you are a do-it-yourselfer!

Visit went well. The office environment is very pleasant and the staff are professional and friendly. The wait time to see Dr.
Decatur Urologists Provider Name Locked
(pronounced "Ploe") was short, as I was called back just at the time I finished the "first visit" paperwork. Dr.

arrived at my room within 10 minutes of me being in there. For the first several minutes, we just talked with him asking about any problems I was having now or had experienced in the past. After our discussion of my health history, he did a prostate check. Afterwards, he sent me to another area to have some blood drawn for a PSA test. They do there own tests in house without having to send off to an outside lab. My experience with Dr.
Decatur Urologists Provider Name Locked
was very pleasing and I left feeling very good about my new Doctor, easy to communicate and having good bedside manner.

Dr. Habermacher is great. I was extremely uneasy about my procedure but he made the entire process so easy. His bedside manner is the best I have seen and I highly recommend him. We talked throughout the entire process as if we had been friends for years. Everything went the way he said it would, took the amount of time he said it would and overall just a great experience, considering!

Dr.
Decatur Urologists Provider Name Locked
treated me for Kindey Cancer and performed surgery to remove one of my kidneys. Pros: Seem technically competent. I felt confident in my treatment. Cons: Communication is poor. Over the course of many appointment, the same information would be reviewed (and I would ask myself, why did I need to come in for this appointment). I felt excessive test were done and when tests results were normal appointments were still scheduled to tell me everything is OK. After Kidney removal I was referred to a specialist due to low kidney filtration rates. The specialist acted like, "why are you here" your results are normal considering you just had a kidney removed. I felt Dr.
Decatur Urologists Provider Name Locked
should have know this, Why did I need to see a specialist to find this out. Situations like this reduce my confidence and make me want to find a new Urologist.

While examining me for kidney stones, Dr.
Decatur Urologists Provider Name Locked
noticed there was fluid building up in my abdomen and I was jaundiced. He immediately sent me to the hospital for blood tests which revealed severe issues with my liver. By the time he got the results, it was after hours. Nonetheless, he tracked down my gastroenterologist, who was in another state, and conveyed the results of those tests. Shortly thereafter, I was in the hospital and diagnosed with a sever reaction to some medicine I was taking which had done grievous damage to my liver. I believe that Dr.
