He's been my cardiologist ever since I moved to the area four years ago. It's easy to understand him, he really cares about his patients, and his office is run very efficiently. In fact, I hardly wait more than ten minutes after signing in for an appointment.

He is an amazing doctor. He also took care of my parents. He was very sweet, nice, professional, and caring. My husband was a patient with him for about 15-20 years. We moved and definitely miss him now.

Love the staff but since Carepoint took over the office seems to be less personable which is why I loved coming here. Now it is just a factory and I spend more time filing out paperwork than I do with the physicians who do not exceed 5-10 minutes with you. Although the new Dr is very thorough, but who knows how long that will last.

Follow-up after irregular heart rate. He did one stress test, and then when we met in his office to discuss the findings, he told me he wanted to schedule another Heart Stress Test with imaging. He said his office would call to schedule. I waited one week, two weeks, three weeks. No call. I called the office and told them I wanted to schedule the test. No return call. That night, I went to the ER with Chest Pains. The next day, I called the office again, requesting the test, and to speak with the doctor regarding my visit to the ER. They revealed that he "forgot" to schedule the test. I asked for a return call.
No return call. I decided to see another Doctor at another hospital. My life is too important to be in the caring of incompetent so called professionals.

Doctor Golden was prompt in seeing me (even fit me in on a Saturday, when I called to schedule the appt. and indicated to the receptionist that I had recently been in the ER).
He reviewed my patient history, my labs, and said that I could still see him, but he would like to refer me to one of the other physicians in his office for further testing and analysis of my situation- I was able to see that doctor three days later (fast, polite scheduling at this office!).
Not once did he question if the fatigue I was feeling was "all in my head," he was very validating of my obvious *physical* problems. He seemed to be able to read the whole picture and take my concerns seriously.
I would see him again and recommend him to anyone that needs a good internist or cardiologist (he is board certified in both areas).

I waited 2 hours to see her (which has happened in the past as well) and was pretty aggravated by the time we met. We had a disagreement over one of the tests and when I questioned her as to the impact of two particular factors on the results, she wouldn't answer me. I also needed her to clear me for shoulder surgery, which she was unwilling to do without my going through a very expensive stress test. She agreed to speak with the surgeon and I told her that if she was uncomfortable clearing me, I would find another doctor. She told me the next week that she "presented" my "case" to the surgeon, which meant that she told him things she should not have. We had a fight on the phone. I will never, ever go to this doctor again, and I would urge others not to use her either. She wants patients to be cardiac patients and prescribes all manner of testing without giving reasons. It seems to me in hindsight that she does this to bring in the money.
