inspectors. The savings have been as predicted through 7 months" of usage. We are very happy campers. They also successfully installed a $421,000 system at my workplace. Same great results!

"The only positive things I can say is they answer the phone & the addition is functional. Everything else was a mess. On 4/10/2015 I contracted for the 2KW" addition and paid a $5000.00 deposit on the $7880 install. I was told it would only take a few weeks to complete. A survey crew came out a few days later and said it would only take a few days to do the install. After a few weeks, I called & was told everything was ready & it would only be a few more days to start construction. After several days, I called again & was told some parts were wrong or missing. I continued to call & every time was told a different story of why there was a delay. After several weeks, I tried to cancel the install & asked for a refund. I was told NO because all he parts were in & the install would begin shortly. More phone calls & more excuses followed. Almost two months later I was told they did not have any of the correct parts & were. expediting the order When they finally started, things were not much better - wrong parts & poor workmanship. At one point they attempted to use new controllers that would require a complete rewire of the system instead of the required optimizers that could simply be connected to the existing system. Construction stopped until the correct parts could b e overnighted. Even with the correct parts, the crew seemed to have no idea how to connect them. The only reason I do not give them an F is because the addition is functional. Not "pretty" but functional.

3 types of solar panels: pros and cons

Are you talking about powering your home solely on solar (i.e. no back up power source or off grid).

The power, once convered from DC to AC via the inverter, is suitable for use by the home.

Most solar application are in supplement to the current powering of the home and will spin the meter back in the day but are not the primary.

OK - that should strike Atlantic Plumbing off your vendor list !

You say female pipe to copper pipe connection - I hope you are not saying they connected copper directly to galvanized or black iron pipe. If so, there should have been a dielectric union put in there to prevent corrosion, which could be part of your problem.

Also, generally a bad idea to use teflon tape for hot water tank connections - too much thermal cycling, loosens it up over time. Should use plumbers dope for that application.

It sounds to me like a connection problem - if the tank itself was leaking it should be flooding the top of the tank or more likely running down through the insulation and dripping out the bottom.

Unless you are a do it yourselfer, sounds like you need to find a new plumber with good reviews and rating in your area - Search the List (in green banner bar). This should be an easy fix - should have him put in dielectric couplings (about $5-10 each depending on pipe size) if current connection is iron to copper, and even if not, have him redo connection not only for cold but also hot water - if one was done poorly, probably both were.

I had a fantastic experience with GreenNRG and Idan my project manager. They are very Professional and easy to work with. Every issue

up they responded perfectly every time . Their pricing is very straight forward and they delivered on all of their promises.these guys are as good as it gets, Idan is a family member. I highly recommend them. GreenNRG was one of 5 companies I had bids for and while I liked one other company as well (that was cheaper) they didn’t use American panels and did not have Idan working there , everything he promised I got and more. During the process I end up dealing with half a dozen people in the office which is usually a problem but everybody knew me and answered and solved all my concerns , everybody was happy and pleasant to deal with. Goodbye a $300 bill, Thank you GreenNRG

System was installed fast. System was installed and inspected within a week. BGE Interconnection Certificate of Completion submitted 06/18/15. A month later I sent an email for a status request and no actual response other than any day now. 5 weeks after inspection and still waiting, not sure if BGE or SolarEnergyWorld are the cause of the delay. I had only really read about delays with PEPCO Still not sure why there is a delay.

The installation went great, the crew was professional and all the wiring was nice and neat. They followed my suggestions as to how to route the wiring and such and the system looks and works great.

I chose
Bristol Solar Panel Companies Provider Name Locked
due to friendly staff and being an OUC-recommended contractor. I regret this decision.
5 days after installation the pipe coming from the newly installed tank disconnected and flooded my garage. It turned out they had mistakenly used two different types of incompatible pipe and hadn't sealed them together correctly, resulting in the break and the flood. The service manager who came to inspect/repair the mistake described it to me as "an amateur mistake". They fixed the mistake and the system has worked fine since.
Despite being without hot water for 3 days, the self-admitted "amateur mistake" in installation, and the water damage in my garage, my request for a refund of the installation costs was denied. In its place they offered a restaurant gift certificate in an unspecified amount and a year of free service (which I hopefully won't need). After turning down my request for a refund the salesman even had the audacity to end our conversation by saying, "I hope this experience won't prevent you from recommending us to others".
I recommend avoiding

- I would hate for someone else to go through an experience similar to mine with this company.

T & G installed my cement tile roof many years ago and it still looks great, so when it was time to go solar I gave them a call along with many other solar companies. Unlike the other companies, they listened to me and proposed a system that would fit my needs. They gave me options on panels and since they are a roofing company, they were able to move a roof vent to accommodate my desire for a particular location.

are all very professional, knowledgeable, and just nice people to deal with. They give you an appointment time, not a four hour window, and show up on time. They answer all your questions thoroughly and call you to keep you informed on how the process steps are going. The crews are easy to work with and talk to. They clean up after themselves each day and the quality of the work is outstanding. Everything is well coordinated and the process took about 3 days. They had to replace my electrical panel and

the electrician made sure to label all the breakers in the new panel and he re stuccoed around the panel to perfectly match the existing stucco. After I signed the contract, the system was up and running in less than a month and that includes all the city permits and SCE approvals and PTO. It's producing beyond the estimate and I can monitor it online with the Enphase Enlighten monitoring system that is awesome.

Great job. High end stuff and it was all financed through them. Everything was done great and they took everything and did it all in about 4 days. They allowed me to do my research first and apply what I wanted. Their installation was excellent. We are getting the highest return on our house at this point. They come out twice a year to clean them. You can see in real time how much electricity you’re generating.

We chose them from 3 bidders. They were the most expensive but 1) they offered a choice mfrs 2) they were much more thorough analyzing the house, 3) they were better at explaining things.
