"The rooms look great and we are really pleased with the finished product. We will be having two further rooms done at a later date.
the owner" was very helpful and I have no hesitation in recommending this service. I just have a couple of points having never experienced this type of work before and not knowing what to expect.
does the installation and then his assistant follows behind him and fills, rubs down and paints nail holes and seams. The crown molding installation is done in a few hours but the rub down, filling and painting takes a very long time which we had not been aware of. The assistant does an excellent job but it took from about 8:30 a.m. till after 7:00 p.m. I think that a plastic covering should be used to cover items/furniture directly under where the crown molding is being fitted. We did ask about this but it is not done as a matter of course. The rub down, filling and paint does drop tiny particles of debris and dust and we did have a few tiny spots of paint. All easily cleaned up though with a quick wipe around and vacuum. We are delighted with our crown molding and are looking forward to completing our other two rooms. We have two plastic sheets at the ready for next time. We are delighted to recommend this company to any interested party.

Carpentry/woodworking

Finish carpenters can design, build and install woodwork structures in your house to enhance the quality and adorn the attractive appearance of your home. There carpenters can complete several different jobs for new homes or remodeling of an existing house.

Baseboards and molding

Baseboards and molding serve a practical function -- covering up the space where walls and floors join, as well as protecting the wall from scuffs and dents. But they also provide a decorating opportunity.

You need a general contractor - prefereably one who specializes in additions, because you have excavation, waterproofing, concrete, concrete cutting, carpentry, door and window, etc trades to coordinate.

The cost will depend a great deal on your topography around the house - if the base of the window will be above ground level at least 6 inches, then could run about $500 for a legal egress window purchase and about $1000-2000 for installation, depending on how deep into the concrete you have to cut.

If the bottom of the window will be below ground level, then to call it a bedroom (which mandates legal sized second egress and usauully at least one window)  then you will have two choices - bring it out into a solid watertight concrete storm cellar with collar to keep water out, stairs, and and weather and bug-tight cellar door that is inward-opening, which means a lot of space for stairs and landings top and bottom, or bring it out into an oversized window well at least 36 inches in diameter, and with steps to ground level, with adequate drainage and waterproofing to keep it dry. Either way, sometimes about as easy to put in an outside door as a window, and might raise property value more. Cost from $2-5,000 depending on how deep into concrete wall you have to dig, whether concrete wsall needs reinforcing with steel frame because of the depth of cut, how easy the digging is, and what your water conditions are near the foundation. The last thing you want to do is create an easy water or vermin ingress with your egress.

Dictated by Federal LAW , you will need a Licensed and EPA Certified HVAC Contractor

to make such repairs . In fact , by law , ONLY A licenesed HVAC contractor can buy or install

said eguipment , NOT A handyman nor general contractor !

YES , You should have an A.C. sleeve surrounding the through the wall unit . These sleeves will usually accompany NEW products , either as a package or an add on equipment purchase.

Contact a Licenesed PROFFESSIONAL at once !

It depends on what type of ramp you need. If it is built out of wood you could look for a carpenter or a deck company. If you are looking for a concrete ramp a mason would be what you are looking for. There are also metal ramps and I believe some medical supply companies may carry them or be able to steer you in the right direction. As for insurance coverage I am not sure. You may have coverage and would be best talking to your agent. Depending on why you need this ramp there may even be programs through your local government or even some of the local charities might help. It might be a project a local Scout Troop might help out on.

We needed cabinets to house our media. Due to the specific things we needed housed there were no flat pack type cabinets that fit the bill.
We took some rough measurements, a photo of a style we liked, the specifications for the interior drawer size we needed and went to Mr.
Bloomington Carpenters Provider Name Locked
. He built exactly what we envisioned. ...More /> I will definitely recommend him to anyone I know who needs something built.

did a great job installing my medicine cabinets in both of my bathrooms. One bathroom needed drywall repair where a mirror had been moved. After he repaired the drywall, you could not tell there had been damage to the wall.
He is very professional and he kept in touch with me from our first contact. He was on time and did a nice cleanup job after he was finished working.

One of the best experiences we've ever had. Arlyn was on top of things from the get-go, crew was prompt, professional, and did great work. At the end of each day, you couldn't even tell they had been there. Arlyn inspected everything to make sure it was up to his high standards. We would absolutely call Arlyn again--he would be our first and only call.

and his helper arrived promptly and worked like a well-oiled machine. The baseboard was installed beautifully and it was caulked and painted. He even left a small piece, already mitered, for use in the kitchen where a cabinet had to be reordered and hadn't been received. These guys are GREAT!!!!

and
Bloomington Carpenters Provider Name Locked
were absolutely great to work with. They were timely, professional and are excellent Carpenters. They make a great Team together. They arrived when they said they would and made quick work of the project with only the two of them. I must say I've NEVER let anyone in our house without someone here, however after gettting to know
Bloomington Carpenters Provider Name Locked
and
Bloomington Carpenters Provider Name Locked
, I was completely at ease leaving the door unlocked for them to work in my home alone. They are hard working honest men! They began with Demo of all the existing Drywall and Trim. They reframed the warped wall as quoted. They inserted 2 inch foam insulation. They installed all new drywall, mudded and sanded. They then primed and painted all walls. They installed all new baseboard, crown moulding and door trim. They cleaned up extremely well after themselves. I'm extremely satisfied with the result of the project. They are true professionals at a reasonable price. I had
