Sample Land Surveyors Reviews

"The communication was prompt, the process was outlined quickly, and the work done well. I had absolutely zero issues with my experience and would recommend them again.
"Went well. They made a time commitment and kept the actual survey time, though it took a couple of days after it was supposedly initially e-mailed to me for me to get it. They did call me to say it was coming one day, but I had to call the following day to actually get it. Good quality work though and very responsive.

was very professional, thorough, and was willing to answer my many questions regarding the process and land boundaries in general. The work was done quickly and follow through was great. I originally only asked for a corner survey but then later needed a full topography survey for a landscape architect.

"Got estimate for $750 for surveying my property for purposes of replacing my wooden fence. Thought the price was too high. Decided in the end to replace the fence on one side and the back, both boundaries where there was already an existing fence. Went ahead and had the existing fence replaced. Then when it came time to do the third side where no fence existed, called B&B back to get them to do just that one side thinking it would be $250-$300 and was told they did not do partial surveys. They told me that the surveyor could

his license (?). They also told me that there are companies out there that will do partial surveys but that I should "run away from them".
So I had no choice but to call somebody else. I picked the second most highly rated surveyor on Angies List and without a moment's hesitation they said "no problem, we can do as much or as little as you want".
Now, what B&B does or doesn't do is their business. But a) it doesn't sound right that you should have to pay to have ALL boundaries marked when you only really need one b) if you don't do partial surveys - state it up front! The lady I spoke with claimed she had discussed this with me but she did not and c) don't imply that others who might do partial surveys are crooks that I need to run away from. That just smacks of "we're really not interested in small jobs but we really don't want to tell you that".
I will say that the lady I dealt with was very responsive and polite and had I needed all three sides done I probably would have been very happy with their services.

was on time, did a quality job, explained his findings on our property fully, and his fee was reasonable. I highly recommend him."
"Contacted this company to

boundary in my property for fencing; guy named
Aurora Land Surveyors Provider Name Locked
responded; all the terms and everything was fine; asked me the initial deposit of $150 and is paid; then set the date to perform service 10 days later; on the day, the guy didn't show up, until I called and left message in his phone and email. Then the guy called and stating he forgot about it and was on another project location. Seems came to the property as I left after waiting for 2 hours and looked at it and asked me to provide him the plat survey (so I'm confused whether I'm the surveyor or this guy and I have to pay him as well as work on his job); anyway next day provided plat survey and waited for 2 days no response. So sent him email again, then this guy responds that I'm bothering this guy to do the work; and agreed for refund and he did.
My suggestion to customers is, do not trust this company (and the guy

) and better work with some other local company;

I would suggest angieslist to verify these type of companies I'm finding out in hard way that so many companies listed in angieslist are either incompetent or couldn't find job outside, just masquerading as best service provider and listed in.
Hire some local company, stay away from this company (can't do small job and so can't do any job).
"V&V are simply the best surveyors in Los

. Polite on the phone, punctual, upfront about all fees and scheduling and patient with questions. I had them come to my home to do a property survey. They were on-time and got the work done quickly and neatly. They answered all of my follow up questions, and sent me a detailed map for my records. There's no reason to go with any one else.
"In less than a week,
Aurora Land Surveyors Provider Name Locked
came out and performed the survey that I needed before building a new fence on my property. He was prompt, courteous and professional, and he answered all my questions.
"In Oct 2013, I started looking for a surveyor to stake my yard for a new fence. Dominion was $50 higher than the company I wanted to use but that company never responded to my emails. Dominion responded quickly so I went with them. They came quickly and staked my yard as I requested in mid-October. By the end of October, I still hadn't received an invoice from them, so I went ahead and sent a check. Over the next several months, my check was never cashed. Then in mid-January, I got a "second" invoice from them. I immediately sent them an email saying I never got the first invoice and that I'd mailed them a check 2 and half months earlier that they should cash. Finally, A WEEK LATER,
Aurora Land Surveyors Provider Name Locked
the bookkeeper responded to my email claiming she never received my check. I told her I would send another one less the $30 stop payment fee on the first check. She took ANOTHER WEEK to respond to that email and said that she hadn't received my second check for $400. She also said that if she found my first check she would destroy it. I told her it was too late. I had given her a week to respond to my email and when she didn't I went ahead and mailed a second for $370. It's completely ridiculous to take a week to answer customer emails. I think they're completely disorganized and lost my first check and

only thinks she sent an invoice in October.

answered the phone and quoted me a price. I called around and decided on this company since they were the closest to the location of the property. I called back one week later and requested a written bid to avoid any issues before we schedule the survey.

promised me a written estimate in one to two days. After 1 week I called and spoke to
