"I was surprised to see Dr
approach my wife and I and without even a cursory inspection he said he did not want to treat me! He gave no reason for reaching his" conclusion but said I would end up. "in a wheel chair addicted to pain killers." He made no attempt to even refer me to a physician who might help me.

"Everything went great and there were no complications. Dr.
is highly skilled and competent. He is the only doctor in Alabama I would choose to perform any surgeries in his areas of expertise.

Angie's Answers

Sounds like you should be pursuing a disability claim.  Also, you could speak to your previous doctor frankly about your concerns.
Have they made orthotics for your shoes that distribute your weight better?

Whoops - I just realized that you may have been looking for Angie's List information on providers outside your home market. This is James W. with Member Care. Thanks for posting your question.

It looks like when you signed up online on 8/5/2014, that you accidentally joined our greater Portland chapter instead of our Salem/Corvallis chapter that your zip code falls under. I have transferred your subscription to that chapter, so you will now have access to the correct area.

I hope this information helps! Please let me know if I can assist further. You can respond to this thread or submit a new Answers post. You can also reach us at 1-866-783-2980. We're open weekdays from 8:00 am - 9:00 pm and Saturdays 8:00 am - 5:00 pm ET.

Knee Care reviews in Twin Falls

I was only in the hospital one day and I did have to walk up and down stairs and hallway before I left. I was also in physical therapy for 6 weeks with each knee. It did take me 3 months to get in to see him, since he was so busy. They offered a seminar a couple hours before the surgery. They helped me get out of pain and the surgery went flawless. The nurses and everyone else was top of the line.

This review encompasses the entire process from the first visit through surgery (

Twin Falls Knee Replacement Surgeons Provider Name Locked
is extremely personable and with a confidence-inspiring bedside manner; more importantly, he LISTENS and then provides succinct answers, in

's terms. After initial x-rays (taken on-site), Dr.

spent about 30-45 minutes with me, discussing my condition and all possible options. He explained why the total replacement of the hip joint was his professional recommendation. Another doctor had done x-rays (from a lying-down position) and then wanted an MRI. Dr.

, using the standing-up x-rays taken that day, explained why an MRI would unlikely

anything of use in my case, because the x-rays clearly showed a bone-on-bone relationship between the hip socket and femur. He was able to answer my concerns about my osteoporosis, as well as all my other questions. I left his office with written material, explaining the surgery and what I could expect post surgery.
He performed the replacement surgery 2 weeks later. I saw Dr.

or his highly capable (and equally personable) Physician's Assistant) every day. In the three follow-up visits, my questions were all answered and my concerns laid to rest. It was recommended that I complete a course of physical therapy after the 4-week point. I would heartily recommend this to anyone undergoing this procedure (depending on which physical therapist you visit, but that is another story for another review). After 5 weeks of PT, Dr.

pronounced me in good health and sent me on my way.
There is still some work to be done on my part, but I feel entirely confident in my choice of

for this procedure. Incidentally, I chose him on the basis of Angie's List reviews.
I initially awarded a "B" in Punctuality. However, in re-reading my review, it occurred to me that Dr.

's willingness to spend time with each patient probably accounts for his tardiness over the course of the day's appointments. I would rather wait a little longer and get the full attention Dr.

gave to me than be hustled in and out!

I have seen the doctor once so far. Everything has gone well and he is an excellent doctor. He seems extremely knowledgeable and knows exactly what to do to help you. He is very professional and the staff is helpful. They go the extra step to find out what is wrong with you to best help you. It is easy to schedule an appointment. I have also seen his partner Dr. Mikhale.

He is very good surgeon. He is genuinely cares about his patients. The staff are very professional and friendly. They have a busy practice, but they are efficient.

He took it from where another doctor in the practice left off. His physician assistant is very good. I didn't feel that I was missing out by not talking to the doctor. It was really a great experience. I was able to get up and walk the day after the operation. I don't have any problems with it at all now. I can do anything I want to do. He did an excellent job. I don't feel like I have anything wrong with my knee. There is no pain. I am allergic to codeine so he gave me another pain

. If I ran out, I would call and they would have it ready the same day.

I tried it for quite a while but there just wasn't enough meniscus available and it just hurt so he turned me over to his partner. His physician assistant is very good. I didn't feel that I was missing out by not talking to the doctor. He is very knowledgeable. The operation he performed went very easily and I was up walking around right afterwards. Then it started hurting again because I didn't have enough meniscus left. He also cleaned out arthritis. There was a lot he had to do. Every time I asked for anything, there was someone that called me back right away that could do what I needed. They were almost on the minute on punctuality. He was kind of gruff with me in the beginning but then my husband showed up for a visit. After than he would show up on visits just with the physician assistant so he could talk to my husband. They were upfront and showed me pictures. He did what he said he was going to do because he said he didn't know what he would find. While it wasn't effective, it was what he said. He didn't make any promises. All the bills went to my insurance. I would definitely go back to him if it was a problem he could deal with.
- Joy M.

I just had an arthroscopy on my right knee and the doctors, the nurses, the surgery room, recovery, everything was first rate. In the past, I've used the emergency room for a couple of minor things and that's all A's also. What I don't like there is their billing is just awful. The clinic, even though they know you have insurance and you have coverage, they send you threatening notices about your bills because they know the elderly will pay their bills before they eat and buy groceries, and even though they can get reimbursed, they would rather you pay with threatening notices and they make you wait for the reimbursement.
