"Sales person was brief and seem uninterested in providing frames and lenses covered by insurance limits set by insurance limits. They had 4 pair of frames for men and 9 pair of frames" for women that were modestly higher in price than the insurance allowance, but quality and style ranged from frail to fragile for the cost. The provider's showroom is dedicated to boutique frames with boutique prices rather than medium cost frames and were not price competitive with similar businesses accepting insurance. We saved a great deal of money by shopping elsewhere and finding higher quality glass frames at a lower cost.

"Dr.
was thorough and pleasant in his exam. He began my appointment on time and I felt confident in his evaluation of my eye health.

"Dr.
is a very qualified ophthalmologist. She takes all the time needed to answer your questions and treat the patient. My husband and I have been seeing her" for a few years for normal eye care and really like her. Dr
has been working with me in particular since I have chronic severe dry eyes. I recently had cataract surgery performed by Dr.
. I couldn't be happier with her methods of treatment. Whatever the problem I have, she takes a very patient approach to coming to the correct conclusion rather than rushing in to a quick treatment. You never enter her office feeling that she is trying to hurry you. She always gives me all of the time I need. What more can I say. If you want an excellent doctor, she is definitely worth looking at.

Eye Care - Optometry

Numerous factors affect the cost of an eye exam, from your choice of optometrist or ophthalmologist, to location, such as at a retail store or doctor’s office.

Absolutely you have rights to your own medical records. You may have to put it in writing and go through the offices records department. Call and ask to speak with the records department and ask their protocol.

I must say over the many years going being examined him I can say he is very thorough doctor, but the personnel he has answering the phone and scheduling appointments has cost him 3 patients out of my home. Most recently, I had to join that list of patients. Last year, his office staff called at the last minute to cancel my appointment, and they failed to offer me a new appointment date. In other words they implied that they did not want my bussiness. I have good county benefits and I felt I was being treated like my parents are treated with medicaid doctors. As I stated Dr. Gatorbaum is a great doctor and communicator but I am not impressed with his office staff lack of communiction and customer skills. Sincerely,

Routine two year follow up that had to be rescheduled because of some new issues. Very limited waiting time and much of the exam was done by a technician ("which one is better, #1 or #2) which I was fine with. Dr. O did all the inspection of the internal eye herself. Very limited waiting time for her as well. The exam was quick, efficient and she was good about answering questions. I never felt rushed.

After years of going to LensCrafters I decided to change doctors and used Angie's List to get a referral. While visiting the office to setup an appointment Dr.
Sandpoint Optometrists Provider Name Locked
just happened to be in the lobby on his off-day and stopped to talk to me. He went so far as to do a preliminary exam free of charge and spent over an hour of his time to talk to me. The staff and doctors are all very welcoming and I cannot speak highly enough about Dr.

They were excellent! We were without health insurance at the time and they were extremely helpful and understanding. They examined her and gave us samples to keep costs down. The total bill was less than $100 and we were in and out in under an hour even though she did not have an appointment. The time between the call to the office and when we were finished was less than 90 minutes! Everyone was very friendly and kind. I would visit this office again anytime the need arose.

was very professional and punctual. I arrived early, prepared to wait and he saw me right away. His manner immediately put me at ease. He took time to answer questions I had regarding different lens materials, different lens coatings, and frames.
