"I had a very good visit. Dr
has a friendly manner and inspires confidence. They didn't push me into buying glasses or contact lenses.

Optometry

Optometry relates to eye and vision defects. You should receive regular eye exams from a licensed eye doctor so he or she can treat problems quickly.

Eye Care - Optometry

Numerous factors affect the cost of an eye exam, from your choice of optometrist or ophthalmologist, to location, such as at a retail store or doctor’s office.

Up until recently, optometrists didn’t think a child’s nearsightedness was something that could be changed, but new research has developed methods to stop it.

Absolutely you have rights to your own medical records. You may have to put it in writing and go through the offices records department. Call and ask to speak with the records department and ask their protocol.

I have been working with the technicians for several weeks on various attempts to get my bifocals and progressive lenses correct and have finally had enough with working with them. I called to request an appointment with Dr.
Sandpoint Optometrists Provider Name Locked
. I was told I had an appointment with her at 10:40 this morning. Instead they made me wait until 10:55 to be taken back to talk to the technicians. I NEVER saw Dr.
Sandpoint Optometrists Provider Name Locked
today. When I explained to the technician that I cannot even read with the progressives as they are made, they did NOTHING to address the issue and instead are pushing me to get tri-focals and a new pair of computer glasses. I was at the office for an HOUR (instead of a 20 minute appointment) and still had to call back with information about how far away my computer is from my chair. The technician did NOT get this info to Dr. Godhwin in time for her to give me a prescription today. Now I have to go back tomorrow or Thursday for the prescription. I am VERY disappointed with being lied to by the front-office staff and with the the technicians for not being willing to talk to me about changing the measurements of the progressives. I will get my glasses when they come in and will leave this practice. I do NOT recommend this store for anyone who values being treated with honesty and respect and I certainly can not recommend them for quality of product.

Technicians were remote and impersonal - as was most of the experience. Optometrist was a bit more engaged. Went there because they participate in my insurance plan, but it was VERY expensive. Although I needed a couple pair, I decided not to get the additional glasses here. Went to Target Optical and got 3 more complete pairs for a little more than this provider was going to charge for one pair of additional lenses only!

I like the convenience of it; you walk in the door, have an eye exam, pick out frames/lenses, and leave with them the same day. All told, it generally takes 1.5-2 hours. Their prices are a little more expensive, however.

He was happy with them. He had been to several others and thought they were really good. He had been to other place and the glasses he got weren’t helpful. He could hardly see because the prescription wasn’t that good. The prescription at
Sandpoint Optometrists Provider Name Locked
was right on and they were all thorough. It’s definitely a place to go if I want good service.

I just started using him last year. I am very pleased with them. He's covered under my insurance plan. They know how to guide me along, how my plan works. I never had a plan until recently. I didn't feel rushed. I could ask all the questions that I wanted to ask. The front desk is courteous. I have to go in every so often because the little nose prongs turn green on me because of my chemistry. For no cost at all, I just go in there and they fix that for me, because I'm a customer now. They're very nice.

Basically I was going blind. In about a week a tiny blurry spot on one eye had taken over the eye and moved to the other as well.
I was freaking out and NOBODY believed me. Even my PCP thought i was making it up.. Finally i saw dr azizi and he noticed right away something was seriously wrong and suggested i go to the ER right away. Thanks to him I found out i have a very rare brain/spinal disorder and was able to save my eye sight!!! i can now see my childrens faces. He saved my life. had this gone untreated it could have suffocated my eyes and brain and could have been fatal. I owe this man not just my eyesight but my life. I recommend him to everyone.

I can see very well now.
The staff are very professional and friendly with lots of smiles.
Any questions that I had (many) were answered with enthusiasm.
I will definitely refer this business to my friends and associates.
