"They were very professional from beginning to end. The owners
Brown always explain what need to be done to complete" the repair correctly and always come in right on the money with their estimate costs. Honesty is hard to find in the auto repair industry and I trust them with all my work. They service my business vehicles and my personal vehicles. In the past year they have completed everything from Oil changes, tune ups, air conditioning, brakes to suspension and tires. No one ever wants to spend money repairing vehicles, but if you have to I would highly recommend
for all your auto repair and tires.

"I called and asked for my options over the phone. They answered my questions, quoted me a fair price and did the work quickly. My only negative is the ridiculously" heavy handed way they sell tire insurance. I had to turn it down three times and then say out loud "Let's move on" to get the guy to accept that I didn't want it. Other than that no complaints, but the hard sell made me like them less.

Tires not only transfer the engine’s horsepower directly to the road, their grip ensures your car handles, turns and brakes safely. Overlooking tire maintenance can lead to poor fuel economy, poor handling and possibly hazardous driving conditions.

Inactivity, low tire pressure and excessive heat are the primary culprits that cause automobile tire dry rot.

Auto Tires

Have you ever found yourself on the side of the road with a flat tire? If so, did you know how to change it?

Auto mechanics and tire dealers say many people no longer take the time to learn how to change their own tires.

They, instead, rely on AAA or another roadside assistance services to bail them out, sometimes even if they have a spare tire in the trunk.

Tire Buying And Repair reviews in Sandpoint

I've been there multiple times. I thought the price was competitive but I didn't do a lot of checking. I've used them for years. They get to you and I think they're honest and tell you the truth about things. When they put the tires on, they put the tires on just fine but they didn't check the air pressure in the remaining tire and it was a little low and so we had to go back to have them redo that.

Well he had my car for3 days stating that the parts did not come for over a day even thought the parts warehouse was in maimi. The car a/c worked fine during the runs to the store and onetrip to the beach (less then 10miles). We went home to Georgia and the A/ c Wsnt blowing as cold. Teh next day the A/c wS NOT BLOWING AT ALL. I kept running the A/c it stayed hot . My mom told me to take the car to out local mechanic, not only did he say that the parts werent not verifiable through a manufacturer, But that the A/C compresser blew and putmetaL THROUGHOUT MY WHOLE A/C SYSTEM. And he repaired it for me , it was $900. HE had to flush the system 4 times ,and then he did could not even get the metal out the system that cools the rear cabin of the van .So now my kids have to suffer the heat because the rear system does not work . it actually worked better before we had the service done at
Sandpoint Tire Shops Provider Name Locked
. We called them , and all he said was " bring it in mama,i will look at it " knowing very well that we live out of state.

They were timely and didn't apply a lot of high pressure, and they also handled a conflict they had with another customer really well.

I had been going to
Sandpoint Tire Shops Provider Name Locked
(Mr. Tire) in Canandaigua for years to have tires mounted, wheels balanced ,etc., and never had a problem. So I decided to have them change the spark plugs in my Nissan Pathfinder when the engine started feeling sluggish. Big mistake.....immediately after the new plugs were installed the engine started hesitating and missing to the point where the entire vehicle would shake when idling. I was having no problems like that before having the plugs changed , so I knew it had something to do with the plug installation. I brought the vehicle back to
Sandpoint Tire Shops Provider Name Locked
and set up an appointment for them to have a look at it the next day. I took it in, they "looked" at it, and gave me some story about a loose hose they found and re-connected. The problem was...it was still idling just as bad as when I brought it in. I popped the hood and even showed the guy who worked on it how rough the idle was. He was short with me, and rude. He became very defensive and asked me if I thought that the
Sandpoint Tire Shops Provider Name Locked
technician did something on purpose to cause the problem. I explained that I wasn't accusing anyone of doing anything like that on purpose.....but reiterated that I was sure it had something to do with the plug installation, because the problem wasn't occurring before. He then said he would look at it again, but he would have to charge me for troubleshooting time. I had just paid almost $160 to have 6 spark plugs installed, and I wasn't going to pay them to troubleshoot a problem caused by their own installation work. I suspected that one of the new plugs was bad and asked him if he would just install the old plugs to prove the point. Again, he said he would have to charge me. I was shocked....I couldn't believe he wouldn't even put the old plugs back in without charging me. So he turns away and walks back into the shop, leaving me there with my vehicle shaking at idle. He lost a good customer that day.
A few days later I took the vehicle to another repair shop to have the old plugs put back in, and they pulled the new number 6 plug out and handed it to me. It looked like it had been run over by a semi. The inner metal core of the plug was bent and twisted and the ceramic was in pieces. I was lucky that some of the ceramic pieces didn't fall back into the cylinder head and cause major engine damage when the new plug was put in. It was apparent that the
Sandpoint Tire Shops Provider Name Locked
tech had extensively damaged the plug during installation.
Needless to say, I'm very disappointed. It seems they never even looked at the plugs when I brought the vehicle back in.
Sandpoint Tire Shops Provider Name Locked
was a complete waste of time and money on this job, and they obviously care a lot more about the almighty dollar than they do about doing a good job for their customers.

The Saturday before the work was performed I took my car in because one of my tires had a slow leak. I had to wait over two hours to find out that it was not repairable. They did not have a replacement. They would get a new one by Monday. I specifically asked if I could get an appointment and was told I would not need it. Monday I was ill and couldn't go in. On the 19th a friend took it in for me after I called
Sandpoint Tire Shops Provider Name Locked
to make sure they still had it. My friend was so angry when he got back after another two hour wait. The LADY who he dealt with was very rude and was not going to give him the keys because he was not me even though he was the one who brought it in. Tire price was higher than other local tire dealers. I wish I would have done some research before going there.
