My usual mechanic could not locate the source of the problem and was concerned about the sounds he heard from the transmissions, not his area.

was a good experience. They were polite, asked a lot of questions. No pressure, and gave me honest responses. It felt like a conversation and not a sales pitch.
They felt my manual 5 speed was fine, and $$$ replacement was not needed. They then dug deeper to look for what set off my indicators. It was noted that middle motor mount (technically its an engine mount), was bad. We talked about it and I opted to have the mount replaced.
The car has been running fine for a few weeks now.
I am very pleased at how it all turned out. I would go back.
Thank you guys.

I called the office and discussed the problem with the mechanic. He explained that replacement of the transmission fluid would be risky and may cause additional problems. Transmission fluid is a "high detergency" lubricant. New fluid would tend to dislodge dirt deposits that are not now in circulation. This would be like adding dirt to the transmission lubricant, causing failure of the mechanism. If the transmission were not so old, this would not be a concern. At this point, it is better to wait to see if a serious problem develops, at which time the transmission can be replaced or rebuilt.

They were professional. My Freelander was inoperable, and I thought it was a transmission issue. I was concerned the fix would be worth more than the car itself, but fortunately they determined it was the cable. They didn't have the part and had to wait 3 days for the OEM part to arrive, but once it did, they got it in and fixed appropriately. I was pleased with the service.

After paying for the service, we realized that the work was never completed. If my husband hadn't checked, they would have happily let us drive off of the lot without even washing the undercarriage, much less applying undercoating to it. When we complained, the service manager told us if we left the vehicle there another day, the work would be completed. When we returned, they had (sort of) completed the work. However there was over spray all over the car and some sort of goop dripping down the doors. When we complained again they refused to refund our money.
I had a trailer hitch installed somewhere else and they told me that the undercoating was, as suspected, haphazardly completed. I purchased my car at this dealership and I assure you I will NEVER have a car serviced there again and I will NEVER purchase a car there again. I reported them to Ford also, since they are a Ford service center. I have never had a problem like this with a Ford service center. In fact that is WHY I use Ford service stations - generally they cost a little more, but the work is quality.

GTS was professional, prompt and friendly. I went to GTS because I wanted a second opinion about a noise I had been hearing. One place indicated my transmission needed to be rebuilt or replaced. GTS found a loose bolt that was causing the noise and didn't even charge me for the road test or the repair. I will definitely be going back to GTS for any possible transmission problems!

My 2000 Buick Park Ave had been experiencing a transmission skip when under load. I thought perhaps a band was slipping and took it to be diagnosed. The technician was able to determine a faulty sensor inside the transmission and was honest up front that a rebuild would be cost prohibitive. There was no charge for the diagnosis. It was agreed that a fluid change would help the problem and it did. They got it in the shop within an hour and I'm pleased with the results. They offered good service at a fair price.

I took my 2007 Dodge Caliber into
Nampa Transmission Shops Provider Name Locked
Monday morning at the time the shop opened without an appointment. I was impressed that the crew was already up and running with the bay doors open and their work area was spotless. I was immediatly greeted by the manager,
Nampa Transmission Shops Provider Name Locked
, who took my information and went over the general aspects of the processes of diagnosing my transmission problem. He further explained upfront his schedule for the week and gave a fair assesment of when I could expect my repair to be completed. When the diagnoses was completed, he called and explained in detail the problem and the required parts/labor associated to complete the repair with an acceptable timeframe for completion.

Owner

and Sr. mechanic
Nampa Transmission Shops Provider Name Locked
were very professional. They were complete, direct and informative at all stages of their efforts. There was a unrelated and extenuating situation with the car's Traction Control settings. The TCS/ traction control warning light was illuminated on the dash. An electronic error had occurred prior to the transmission failure.
Nampa Transmission Shops Provider Name Locked
was able to diagnose the traction control system error, and with a little help from my mechanic, they were able they reprogram the system and correct the situation. Their continued perseverance with the electronic issues (error code) and willingness to go above and beyond the transmission work was exceptional! I have been in sales and the service business all my life. This car repair experience was one of the best and most through efforts I have ever experienced... I would highly recommend this transmission shop to anyone .... 5/ Stars...Great work

The transmission in my Infiniti G35 started to act up and I took it to Southwest Infiniti for a diagnosis and estimate. For $150, they gave me two poor options: 1) replace the transmission with a new one at a cost of nearly $10,000 or 2) install a rebuilt transmission for a few thousand less. They didn't seem willing or able to repair my transmission (which per the various codes was related to solenoid issues).
So I went to
Nampa Transmission Shops Provider Name Locked
and they are willing and able to repair tranmissions. I spent close to $3000 (expensive parts), but my car is now running fine. I don't plan to be going back to the Infiniti dealer any time soon, but won' hesitate to go back to
