"Insurance coverage was good so I was able to get a new set of glasses even with my extra heavy prescription for a decent price. They were helpful when I needed the glasses adjusted.

"He was great, very professional, and his staff was nice and friendly. Their selection of glasses seemed quite good, although I didn't end up needing any.

Eye Care - Optometry

Numerous factors affect the cost of an eye exam, from your choice of optometrist or ophthalmologist, to location, such as at a retail store or doctor’s office.

Absolutely you have rights to your own medical records. You may have to put it in writing and go through the offices records department. Call and ask to speak with the records department and ask their protocol.

The ophthalmologists are extremely competent, although the personal touch is somewhat lacking because of the huge patient load. I'm changing physicians within the practice with my next visit and hope that will change.

Walking in, the office is inviting and friendly. Before you see the optometrist they do the usual vision tests for glaucoma, very friendly, and attentive.
The only time you're left waiting is between the vision tests and actually being seen by the Optometrist. The exam rooms continue to be modernized with up to date equipment and this speeds along the actual exam.
Optometrists (have seen 3 different ones over the last few years) are all very knowledgeable, they listen to you, they interact with you as you're doing the exam and work with you to get the best outcome in both glasses and contacts for what you want.
Staff fitting you with glasses again are listening to what you're doing with your frames, working to fit it into your insurance plan and making knowledgeable suggestions to help get you into the right product. One of the best things is that if you ever need glasses adjusted or things aren't fitting right, they take you on a walk in and work with you at no charge (assuming you bought the glasses from them).
Very highly recommend them and will continue to use

Staff was very friendly. Office is under construction, but it was still nice and cant wait to see what it looks like after construction is completed.
Large waiting room, large selection of glasses, Dr. Neighborhouse is AWESOME!!!!
Only issue I had both times i have been there is a long wait. Not sure if they schedule too many ppl at a time, or if it is just because they don't allow enough time for each person to be seen which puts off the next person, but this was a little bothersome. They do have a lot of employees there, but still long wait time.
Doesnt affect my interest in staying with them though, I really like this Dr. and facility. A+++

They're really good. I like

a lot. The staff is good also. The glasses I need are complicated -- multi-focus lenses. They got me into this type of glasses which work well for me. I typically wait less than 5 minutes to be seen when I arrive.

I needed a quick appointment due to travel and realizing I was out of contacts. The courteous office staff fit me in and validated my insurance during the initial phone call. I had the first appointment at 9 and when I showed up there was only one person in the office. The others strolled in at 9:15 so if you are in a hurry don't get the first appointment. Once everyone was there moving around it was a great environment, very knowledgable and helpful staff. I'd recommend to anyone looking for a new provider.

Their location, price and the courtesy of the entire staff prompt me to continue being a patient. They are covered by my insurance. It's not typically hard to get an appointment during the week there.

I like the optometrist there. I like that they send me a prescheduled appointment via mail and follow up with a phone call. The staff is very personable there and there have not been issues with scheduling appointments.
