"Very well. We were extremely satisfied with P.J., from first contact through job completion. He called and to tell us he was on his way and what time to expect" him. He did a great job building the cabinet and installing the panels, cleaned up after working and he came back after the painting was done to do some finishing work (caulking, reinstalling the utility sink). So happy we've found someone who can do numerous projects in our home for us. We would highly recommend him.

-Philip B.

"I am more than pleased with the results. He is professional, courteous, prompt and very accomadating with any changes I made with what I originally requested. Always" cleaned up and had me check his work as the job progressed. I intend to use his services in the future for other work I will need done.

Finish carpenters can design, build and install woodwork structures in your house to enhance the quality and adorn the attractive appearance of your home. There carpenters can complete several different jobs for new homes or remodeling of an existing house.

Baseboards and molding

Baseboards and molding serve a practical function -- covering up the space where walls and floors join, as well as protecting the wall from scuffs and dents. But they also provide a decorating opportunity.

You need a general contractor - prefereably one who specializes in additions, because you have excavation, waterproofing, concrete, concrete cutting, carpentry, door and window, etc trades to coordinate.

The cost will depend a great deal on your topography around the house - if the base of the window will be above ground level at least 6 inches, then could run about $500 for a legal egress window purchase and about $1000-2000 for installation, depending on how deep into the concrete you have to cut.

If the bottom of the window will be below ground level, then to call it a bedroom (which mandates legal sized second egress and usauully at least one window)  then you will have two choices - bring it out into a solid watertight concrete storm cellar with collar to keep water out, stairs, and and weather and bug-tight cellar door that is inward-opening, which means a lot of space for stairs and landings top and bottom, or bring it out into an oversized window well at least 36 inches in diameter, and with steps to ground level, with adequate drainage and waterproofing to keep it dry. Either way, sometimes about as easy to put in an outside door as a window, and might raise property value more. Cost from $2-5,000 depending on how deep into concrete wall you have to dig, whether concrete wsall needs reinforcing with steel frame because of the depth of cut, how easy the digging is, and what your water conditions are near the foundation. The last thing you want to do is create an easy water or vermin ingress with your egress.

Dictated by Federal LAW , you will need a Licensed and EPA Certified HVAC Contractor

to make such repairs . In fact , by law , ONLY A licenesed HVAC contractor can buy or install

said eguipment , NOT A handyman nor general contractor !

YES , You should have an A.C. sleeve surrounding the through the wall unit . These sleeves will usually accompany NEW products , either as a package or an add on equipment purchase.

Contact a Licenesed PROFFESSIONAL at once !

It depends on what type of ramp you need. If it is built out of wood you could look for a carpenter or a deck company. If you are looking for a concrete ramp a mason would be what you are looking for. There are also metal ramps and I believe some medical supply companies may carry them or be able to steer you in the right direction. As for insurance coverage I am not sure. You may have coverage and would be best talking to your agent. Depending on why you need this ramp there may even be programs through your local government or even some of the local charities might help. It might be a project a local Scout Troop might help out on.

Woodworking reviews in Clark Fork

We had
Clark Fork Carpenters Provider Name Locked
's out previously to do some other tasks and didn't have any problems. The second time around was a frustrating experience. The people who do the scheduling are unresponsive, and do not follow through when they say they will. It was difficult to get a time set up for this work to be performed and it happened after our big BBQ instead of before because of this. Delayed or lack of response to emails, voicemails, etc.
Clark Fork Carpenters Provider Name Locked
initially came out to review each job and took notes about what we wanted done and materials his guys would need. Well after the trouble getting a date scheduled, I received an email a couple of days prior asking for a list of what we wanted done because there was a "loss of information". This frustrated me, I questioned it, but I just wanted to follow through with the service and finally have it completed rather than find someone else.
Clark Fork Carpenters Provider Name Locked
called me and when I called him back he said that he had heard from the office that I was anxious about something or other. He also made some excuse about doing so many of those meetings... (a professional would have a system in place to file and save that information). I told him that I wanted to make sure that I wouldn't be charged for any time spent by him or his crew figuring out/discussing what needed to be done or time spent going to get materials since we discussed it in detail prior. He assured me that I wouldn't be charged and said that he himself would meet the guys at my house the morning of to tell them what to do. When the morning of came, two guys showed up having no clue what they were there to do and no clue that
Clark Fork Carpenters Provider Name Locked
was supposed to meet them here. I went around the house explaining to these guys what all was supposed to be done and they got started. an hour or so later
Clark Fork Carpenters Provider Name Locked
finally showed up smelling strongly of cigarettes and cologne to make sure everything was ok (which it was no thanks to him) and then left. The guys that did the work were actually very nice, respectful and I would say they did a decent job. Not bad, but definitely not top quality by any means. While the convenience and reasonable pricing are a draw for
Clark Fork Carpenters Provider Name Locked
's, I will never use them again and recommend that you don't either!
- Kirstin D.

I was very impressed with the quality of work and professionalism of
Clark Fork Carpenters Provider Name Locked
and his team. I believe the pricing was fair and I’m certainly happy with the end product.
Clark Fork Carpenters Provider Name Locked
takes great pride in his work, which is why I would absolutely work with
Clark Fork Carpenters Provider Name Locked
& Restoration on future projects.
- Bryan D.

The best description I can give to the work that
Clark Fork Carpenters Provider Name Locked
does is transformational - it literally will change an ordinary home into a model home!
I first met with
Clark Fork Carpenters Provider Name Locked
Clark Fork Carpenters Provider Name Locked
earlier this year to get estimates for wainscoting and crown molding in our home. We also had 2 projects that were custom - one was converting a standard closet into what I would describe as a mudroom bench and the other was building bookshelves recessed into our basement walls in an area that had about 2 feet between the wall and the foundation.
I was impressed with
Clark Fork Carpenters Provider Name Locked
from the beginning for a number of reasons. Not only did he offer great ideas to do the projects better, but he spent a good amount of time at our house taking measurements and making sure the solutions met our needs. Most importantly,
Clark Fork Carpenters Provider Name Locked
was friendly, very professional and answered ALL follow-up questions regarding the projects via text, email or phone.
The days the projects were completed
Clark Fork Carpenters Provider Name Locked
and his team showed up on time and got the work scheduled for that particular day done by the end of the day. His team consists of an amazing group of carpenters/craftsmen who do the job right the first time and are extremely courteous and professional. The end results are truly transformational and after all the work was painted our house looks amazing! I would highly recommend
Clark Fork Carpenters Provider Name Locked
and I am now thinking of additional projects that I can have him do in the future!
- Robert S.

Clark Fork Carpenters Provider Name Locked
Clark Fork Carpenters Provider Name Locked
were fantastic. They provided us an extremely detailed description and estimate of all work to be completed and were willing to work with us throughout the process relative to modifications and additions to the job. They were responsive at all times during the renovation (questions, concerns, etc) and were extremely respectful of our home (neat, organized and cleaned the worksite every day). They worked whatever it took to get the job done timely - - their work product was outstanding.
We would absolutely recommend SJ
Clark Fork Carpenters Provider Name Locked
to anyone looking for a home improvement project....big or small.

Initially, the owner of
Clark Fork Carpenters Provider Name Locked
stated that he, without a doubt, could fit the sofa in the room if he removed the doorframe. Once the doorframe was removed, the sheetrock had to be cut. Once the sofa was in the room,
Clark Fork Carpenters Provider Name Locked
, the owner of
Clark Fork Carpenters Provider Name Locked
, put the doorframe back on, and was going to leave space between the doorframe and the sheetrock. We had to tell him that this was unacceptable, and that he needed to fill on the space. The staples were also visible on the doorframe once he put it back on.
Clark Fork Carpenters Provider Name Locked
left and informed us that he would return to re-stain the doorframe. It is now August 31, 2015 and
Clark Fork Carpenters Provider Name Locked
has not returned to complete the work. We requested that a leg on the sofa be fixed, and to date, it has not been completed. Lastly, we also requested an estimate for the damaged sofa that was delivered on
Clark Fork Carpenters Provider Name Locked
8, 2015 and to this date, have not received it.
Clark Fork Carpenters Provider Name Locked
is very unorganized and does not follow-up on work to be completed in a timely manner. I definitely will not use this company again, and strongly recommend that consumers do not use this company!
- Sherry D.

I have a split-level home (in East
Clark Fork Carpenters Provider Name Locked
, NJ) built in the early 1960’s that was missing a railing going up the stairs, as well as overlooking the foyer. I initially called
Clark Fork Carpenters Provider Name Locked
about having a railing installed after finding his website on the internet.
Clark Fork Carpenters Provider Name Locked
picked up the phone on my first call. I proceeded to give
Clark Fork Carpenters Provider Name Locked
an overview of my project, and a general idea of what I wanted.
Clark Fork Carpenters Provider Name Locked
told me to email him photos of where I wanted the railing installed, as well as the measurements.
Clark Fork Carpenters Provider Name Locked
then emailed me back within a few hours with photos of several options, as well as a detailed price quote (which was more than fair). We then booked a date and time for the project to be completed,
Clark Fork Carpenters Provider Name Locked
estimated that the job would take 1-2 days to finish. I was thrilled to be able to coordinate all of this via internet, as my wife and I both work, and have limited free time. It is rare to find a contractor that is able to effectively communicate and provide quotes all online. On the day of installation,
Clark Fork Carpenters Provider Name Locked
arrived when he said he would, went over every detail of the project, and showed us all the materials he would be using. The job ended up taking just over 1 day to complete, when he came back the 2nd day it was only for about an hour to wrap-up a few small details.
Clark Fork Carpenters Provider Name Locked
is an honest, hard-working old-school craftsman that is also an owner/operator. Unlike many other contractors,
Clark Fork Carpenters Provider Name Locked
does not send different people to do the job, he completes the work himself. He was professional, neat, and courteous. All the materials he used were American made, and not the typical low-grade merchandise you would find at a home center. The railing itself that
Clark Fork Carpenters Provider Name Locked
installed is rock-solid, extremely well built, and looks great. On top of that, the job ended up costing me $50 less than what
Clark Fork Carpenters Provider Name Locked
had originally quoted me as it required less material than was originally thought. When we paid
Clark Fork Carpenters Provider Name Locked
, we accidentally gave him too much money, and he was honest enough to come back and give us back what he overpaid. My wife and I could not be happier, and would absolutely recommend
Clark Fork Carpenters Provider Name Locked
to anyone.

Modifying the cabinets was a part of a larger kitchen upgrade. His subcontractors did some electrical and plumbing work, and installed granite counter tops. A gas
Clark Fork Carpenters Provider Name Locked
and vent hood were installed. The total cost of the kitchen upgrade project was approximately $13,000. The $3,500 above was for the cabinet modifications. The cabinet modifications took 4 weeks. The entire kitchen upgrade project took 10 weeks.

It went very well. We had a little communication problem and it was weather related stuff so it took a while to get it going but once it was done, it went very well. I wasn’t pleased with the price but I was very pleased with the results. The price is more than I expected even if you’re consulting how much is the cost.
